The Dragonhawk Brigade is the most elite, the most excitin', and the BEST Brigade in all of Azeroth! Any objections? No, I didn't think so. Anyways, our goal is this. TO HAVE FUN! Gold is gold, am I right? Of course I am! There is nothing Brigade Chief Masquerade and the Dragonhawk Brigade cannot do!" *Laughter* F.A.Q. How large/active is the guild? We currently have 300+ guild members. However many guild members have a good number of alts in the guild, and of the remainder about a third are truly active. On average there are 20 people online at a time, less in the mornings and more in the evenings. How far into Guild Levels and Achievements is the Guild? The Dragonhawk Brigade is a Level 25 Guild! Not only that, but we are proud to claim the achievement: [Realm First! Guild Level 25] as our own! We have all the available perks, heirloom gear, bank tabs, mounts, and other awesome items available to guild members! Is RP required? Is OOC allowed in guildchat, or do you have a separate channel for that? Roleplay is not required, but knowledge of it is. All members are expected to know the definitions of IC and OOC and must differentiate between them. We are a Casual RP guild, with emphasis on Face-to-Face RP and less roleplay over a chat channel. The Dragonhawk Brigade is your "little bit of everything" guild, with much PvE Raiding, occasional PvP, and leveling. Guild chat is 0oC, and we have a separate channel for RP. The RP channel is used as a form of communication over engineered devices. Do you have a guild website? http://www.dragonhawkbrigade.com What is the back story for the guild? Our full name is simply: (D)efeating boredom with ®andom (A)cts of fun and (G)etting rich by (O)ffering our (N)otorious skills to the (H)orde and (A)lliance, and exploring the (W)orld's best (K)ept secrets...Brigade! D.R.A.G.O.N.H.A.W.K. Brigade, for short. Our goal is to become the most well-known, revered, and wealthiest association in all of Azeroth! Under Masquerade's leadership, the Brigade is constantly searching for new ways to have fun, make money, and boast their successes. Always a sucker for a good mystery, they also spend their time investigating the lesser-known secrets of the World. And how does a Brigade fund these excursions you ask? Well, the DHB is known for its collection of highly skilled agents in all manners of services. For a small gold fee, they will take on most any task from the Horde, and even the Alliance. What are the requirements to join? You must have a name that works in roleplay and be at least level 10. Other than that, anyone can join. We also expect all members to read the Guild Rules and the information in our Guild Info pane upon joining. What would you say is the average level of the guild? There is an about equal spread of low levels, but the majority rests in the level 80-85 range. How would you classify the guild in RP terms? We are quirky and lively, as Brigade members seek to have an exciting and enjoyable roleplaying experience. On average we have 4 guild events per week, ranging from games and competitions to serious storyline events, as well as pre-Cataclysm raids, instance runs, and World PvP. Our RP style is lighthearted, fun, and creative. We are a neutral aligned guild, but base ourselves within the Horde. TO JOIN: NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! 3. A young Dwarven male needed to quench his thirst. In Stormwind, there is but one place to venture in order to get your fill of delicious ale: the Pig and Whistle Tavern. On his waddling way, the male contemplated how many mugs would satisfy his great need. Sadly, it was this distraction that led him in front of three very agitated-looking individuals. "Hello Dwarf, lovely day, is it not? On your way to tavern, are we?" asked the largest of them, a bustling male Draenei, speaking with a booming. He's equipped with a large mallet that he freely grasps with both hands. "Aye, ya lads care ta'join me?" The Dwarf knows that the best tasting ale is one being consumed with others. Speaking of the others, the other two male Humans casually surrounded the Dwarf during the conversation with the Draenei. Before he could react, the Dwarf was pinned to the ground by the two behind him. "Nay, little one. We are only here for toll reasons. To get past us, you will have to pay a pretty silver," the Draenei stands over the Dwarf, his chest blocking out the sun. "HALT!" A voice from behind the Draenei rattles through the alleyway. The two startled Humans lose their grip on the Dwarf who springs to his feet and runs away. Two three would-be-muggers try to follow the Dwarf's lead and scatter; however, they are surrounded by familiar faces. It's the local law enforcement, the Freelance Police! ------------------- Citizens, do not be afraid to grab a pint. We, the Freelance Police, are here for you. We do not take kindly to possible wrong-doing such as the scenario you just seen. We are the eyes and ears of the Light and the Law, dedicated to peace and fairness. This young Dwarf learned his lesson about paying attention to his surroundings and thanks to the efforts of our force, he will see another pint of ale in due time. The three bullies will see to a fair trial and a possible stint in the Stockades. This is one example of how the Freelance Police helps the fine citizens of the Alliance. However, truth be told, we cannot be everywhere at once. This is where YOU come in! Are you an upstanding citizen who truly loves the Law and enforcing it against the evil, corrupt bad guys? Well, don't be shy! We are always looking for able-bodied individuals to help us in our mission to provide safety and protection for everyone in the Alliance! If interested, please go up to any officer on duty and request a quick chat. All of our dedicated staff is trained to spot possible recruits. Talk to us, and let us know how you can make this place safer for everyone! No matter your profession, class, race, or age, we are open to all persons able to perform the important duties of the Freelance Police. Thank you for your time and consideration. This is Justice Hex of the Freelance Police telling you: Be safe and put your faith in the Light and the Law.
  4. ((This is my first guild recruitment post on TNG, so I hope you'll forgive me if you find it to be lacking.)) Listen up, because this is important! If I see that you can't pay attention, there will be a penalty! And believe you me, you do not want what I have in mind. *grin* The Dragonhawk Brigade is the most elite, the most exciting, and the BEST Brigade in all of Azeroth! Any objections? No, I didn't think so. Anyways, we serve the Dark Lady of the Undercity, the one and only...Sylvanas Windrunner! This is her Brigade, and whatever she says goes! But it's MY Brigade too, so I'm the one in charge here. Don't forget that! But if you find yourself on the RIGHT path, the path that leads to serving the Dark Lady and all of her endeavors, then you will join us! Trust me, nothing could be more fulfilling than gathering intelligence for Lady Windrunner's cause. Whether it be acquiring important information, a deadly weapon, or collecting on the bounty of an enemy, we do it all! There is nothing Brigade Chief Masquerade and the Dragonhawk Brigade cannot do! *laughter* How large/active is the guild? We currently have 178 guild members. However many guild members have a good number of alts in the guild, and of the remainder about a fourth are truly active, and a third have decent attendance. Is RP required? Is OOC allowed in guildchat, or do you have a separate channel for that? Roleplay is not required. The Dragonhawk Brigade is your "little bit of everything" guild, with much PvE and some raiding, PvP, and leveling. Guild chat is 0oC, and we have a separate channel for RP. The RP channel is set at the guild's base of operations, the Fairbreeze Village Lounge in Eversong Woods. We also frequent Brill's Town Hall in Tirisfal Glades. Do you have a level restriction? Not at all. Do you have a guild website? http://www.dragonhawkbrigade.com What is the back story for the guild (if any)? ((A full, detailed storyline can be read at dragonhawkbrigade.com in our forums.)) The Dragonhawk Brigade was formed by Masquerade, a young blood elf who had lost her memory and was trained under the Dark Lady's Forsaken rogues. Eager to prove her loyalty, she agreed to form an intelligence squad under Windrunner's command. Shortly after the Brigade's founding, two new recruits were discovered to have ties to Kael'Thalas Sunstrider. Sylvanas demanded they be tested for his influence. While one paladin passed, her death knight cousin refused to be tested. The death knight Vehline murdered another Brigade member soon after refusing the testing and was banished from the Brigade. Currently the remaining agents are gathering a force powerful enough to take the villain down. Adding to their problems, a recent attack on Astranaar lead the Brigade to be targeted by one powerful Night Elf Nexys, and his guild Deathriders. The Brigade was attacked in Winterspring during a Winter's Veil celebration, their own member Kreylan betraying their location. Nexys had invaded the blood elf's mind, leading an attack on the Dragonhawk Brigade. Although Sylvanas' forces were successful in pushing the Deathriders back, it wasn't without casualty. Is there an initiation process before you are tagged? There is no requirement to join. However, to be promoted to the next 'official' rank, new members must roleplay with an officer or attend a guild event in which they display their roleplaying capabilities. They must also join the RP chat channel. Guild members who have multiple characters in the guild, and have met the requirements for a promotion on one of their characters, immediately have all characters promoted to Agent ranking. What would you say is the average level of the guild? There is an about equal spread, but the slight majority rests in the level 55-80 range. How would you classify the guild in RP terms? ie. evil/good/neutral/chaotic/lawful/etc We are neutral, with the idea that moral values are put aside at Sylvanas' command, but not essentially evil. The Brigade has honest and loyal intentions. We can be quite eccentric and chaotic, as Brigade members seek to have an exciting and enjoyable roleplaying experience. If you have any questions or would like to join the Dragonhawk Brigade, contact: Mäsquerade, Everek, Bobó, or Trojo in game. Or send me an email at masquerade@dragonhawkbrigade.com Have a wonderful gaming experience!
  5. *NEWS FLASH* "Good morning. Today the entire Eastern Kingdoms is alive with talk of hundreds of reported incidents involving multiple sightings in what can only be described as extreme events of paranormal extraphenomenical proportions. It seems everybody is willing to bring their old ghosts and skeletons out of the closet. Roy Brady reports from New Avalon." "Thank you, Roger. Everybody's heard ghost stories around the campfire. Heckfire, my grandma used to spin yarns about a spectral goblin shredder that used to go whizz-bang past the farm where she grew up. Now, as if some unseen authority had suddenly given permission, thousands of people here are talking about encounters they claim to have had with ghosts." "Thank you, Roy. Whoever answers the call, may the Light have mercy on us all." *COMMERCIAL BREAK* Hello, friend. Are you troubled by strange noises in the night?
