  1. Somewhere behind dark clouds, the moon was high over Sun Rock Retreat. Rain pattered down onto the dry red dirt, collecting in puddles and dribbling down the sheer cliff faces into the small Tauren village below. Despite the hour and the weather, the distant sound of fighting could be heard echoing from over the canyon walls. And standing above it all, looking down into the village below, was a lone Goblin. A cigar chomped in the corner of his mouth lighting up his face and the pair of goggles resting upon his forehead in an orange-red glow. He’d take a heavy puff from the cigar now and t
  2. The major thing that prevented me from going this year was timing. But, I should be in the United States again in late March. So if it were to happen in early March or April, for example... Just saying! Once I'm in the U.S. though, getting around the country isn't a huge deal. I'll already have flown around the world, so hopping to another state from California is a breeze. Or road trip it with Fhen and Xara.
  3. It's not set in stone yet (it very much depends on my finances at the time to afford the international flight), but Yat and Fhen have both been harassing me to come, so I am officially putting myself down as being at least mostly certain that I am coming along. I'd also happily put my name down for the party suite and take one of those air beds on offer!

"Blue skies, sandy beaches, palm trees, what more could a goblin ask for!" Chikt stood with his hands on his hips, head held high as he stood there on the sandy beach. Eyes closed, enjoying the sun beating down on his face. The sound of the leaves of a palm tree rustling behind him. Eventually he slumped his shoulders and slowly turned. The stench of smoke filled his nostrils as he took in the sight of the Blackbird - the once proud airship of the Raven Cross, now a smoking wreckage on the shore of a tiny little island in the middle of the ocean. At the very least he'd gotten out lucky. The
  5. I don't really play anymore, but I did want to poke my head in and say hello to anyone that happens to remember me! Main RP Toon: Diomades / Unulu / Chikt Horde Or Alliance?: Horde Guild: The Raven Cross What was your favorite RP event or storyline?: There were some amazing ones, but I think as far as memorable purely RP stories go I'd have to choose the founding of the Raven Cross and the events that led up to it. Who is someone that you used to RP with and haven't heard from in a long time, that you miss the most?: Geez, there are so many people. I could name a bunch of close old friend
  6. Oh, don't get me wrong, I ENTIRELY agree with you that the perfect scores were just damn silly. No game is perfect, and to mark something AS perfect completely overlooks the flaws of that thing. And Mass Effect IS flawed. The ending is horrible, the singleplayer has glitches, and I've lost purchases in Multiplayer because of a bug there - and that's a GAME BREAKING BUG! Reviewers are barred from talking about specific portions of games in reviews, and I don't doubt that the ME3 ending was one of those things.
  7. I personally think the review average is pretty spot on. I'd still give ME3 a 90%, because it is an absolutely brilliant game. I couldn't go subtracting a whole lot from the score because of the ending, it left a bad taste in my mouth but it was only a small part of the game. Multiplayer is fun, singeplayer is fantastic, but it does have bugs and the ending is horrendous. So I think 90% is a good average.
  8. We're all busy with real life stuff and don't have the spare time required to become truly invested in TOR. I know I certainly have better things to do, at least. I don't think RC will make a comeback at all.
  9. That is VERY interesting, because I am going to assume that it will still show everybody stepping off the Normandy at the end of the game. So the fact that you basically just saw two of your companions die, but then they can step off the Normandy later, seems to very much suggest the indoctrination theory is correct, OR, the other theory that the whole stepping off the Normandy into a bright new world thing is actually some kind of afterlife deal. Of course, without that scene, nothing has changed. But that is very interesting that it didn't make the cut.
  10. It makes perfect sense to you because you are making a whole lot of assumptions as to what exactly happened. If you DON'T assume what is going on, and look at the facts, it doesn't make sense. You see them on the ground with you before the run to the light. You hear somebody say nobody made it. You see them exit the Normandy crash. There are a lot of empty gaps there that you are filling with assumptions.
  11. The last post complaining about this was an hour before yours, so... yes?
  12. The fact that they say nobody survived and then only Shepard and Anderson make it to the Citadel is kinda telling. But then of course you and Anderson make it alright despite them seeing nobody, and you can see the squad mates that were on Earth with you stepping off of the Normandy when it crashes on some far-off planet, so none of it makes any sense.
  13. If the Sol relay was destroyed, everybody around Earth would be dead anyway. And if the relay in the system where the Quarian homeworld is destoyed, they'd all be dead too. Even if the relays didn't explode, the armada around Earth would all likely starve to death anyway since the planet is totally fucked. Not to mention Turians and Quarians cannot eat human food anyway.
  14. But destroying a relay will wipe out the entire solar system it is contained within. You find this out and see it happen in the final DLC for Mass Effect 2. So basically, you just wiped out most of the galaxy by choosing any of those choices.
  15. The same could be said of Shepards survival. How does his EMS effect him surviving an exploding space station, a fall through atmosphere, into rubble on Earth, in N7 armour that's already been blown to hell?
