  1. A bit simplistic but that suits my style anyways.

    Let Go

"Selene... I can't let go. What's wrong with me? Are they playing tricks on me?" Ayther was confessing to his wife. Although his wife was Hagatha, Selene was a nickname he gave her, after his favorite God. "No dear. It's okay. There must be some reason for it, although in truth, I do not know either. What I do know is that your heart is never wrong, so trust it." Ayther sighed. "Alright. Then I cannot give up on her. I will have to carry on with this, whatever it is. My honest belief is that her friends are trying to draw us together for their own means. However, given what Rhonin enacted the other day, I am going to have to trust this." "You can trust her. I know her well enough." "Thanks love." "Of course."

"We were right to do this... right?" Ayther wanted to be damn sure. "Yes, Ayther. We don't make decisions like this quickly. We have measured everything carefully and always take everything very seriously, as you know." Rhonin was always a great voice of reason for Ayther and the team. As much as he loved to joke around, Rhonin knew when to be serious. "Of course. So we take away their power then? For abusing it?" "That's correct. Power is something very valuable, and when abused, can cause serious harm. Those who wield it must always take it very seriously. Just ask your friends Sivee and Looa if power shouldn't be abused and if it can cause real harm." "Oh I'm sure they are well aware. Alright then, I've decided. Let the team know. Take their power." "I'll see to it that it is done." Rhonin paused. "What's it like, Ayther? Without power? You've been without it for a lot of your life." Ayther contemplated for some time. "Power? Hrmmm... Curious thing it is. It allows you to make things happen. Without it everything just happens *to* you, instead of you being able to make things happen around you. So you have to rely on the basics to survive. It's very challenging. And you basically feel cold and weak most of the time, and usually lonely too." Rhonin made a gesture of understanding. "Let's hope most of them survive then." "Of course."
  4. Looks pretty cool! Clothes might help or was that intentional?
  5. We are Azeroth's most powerful magic and arcanic users. We are the magical elite. Our goals are simply to advance magic, the knowledge thereof, its uses and to use our power for benevolent purposes where available. We are not humble, we are proud. We are not lazy, we are determined. We are not forgiving, we are elite. Joining the Kirin Tor is not easy. Each new member is put through trials. These trials serve several purposes. We must find your true self and your true desires. From there we are able to determine what role you can best play among us, if any at all. Furthermore the trials ensure that you can handle the immense power that is available to you as a part of the Kirin Tor. Once you are a member of our ranks it is highly unlikely you will ever wish to leave our circle. If you are very lucky you may be granted tenure. The benefits of tenure are numerous, most of which are kept secret. Being a Kirin Tor is as interesting as it is rewarding. We do not seek out our new members, they find us when it is necessary. If you believe you have found us then come to Dalaran, city of Mages, and contact us. We will see to it that you are treated with the respect you deserve.
