  1. Hi there!

According to my last posts on any character, I've been away from the community for around eight years now(end BC).    I've made a few pit stops just to play the story for about a month each during Cata, MoP, and early in WoD, but never really tried to reconnect.  Decided to try to change that up this go around.  Anyway, I'm not sure who all is still around from then or which character would be the most recognizable, but it would probably be either this guy or Kreyen, my blood elf hunter.  Additionally if it helps, most of my time was spent in The Crimson Watch(Vanilla), and Sanctuary(BC).  If not, it'll be fun to meet people either way.  For me it's just cool to see how much is still around. :D

  2. Garinth rose from kneeling, his sightless gaze falling to the corpse of the human beneath him. One of the many sick and homeless of Shattrath, the young shaman knew his efforts were akin to holding water in his hands. There was little he could do for many, who no longer had a home and were crippled by one force or another that had decided to ravage the people of Outlands. Some lived for days, others for weeks after they had been brought into the relative safety of the city. He waved a hand for the two attendants with him to begin moving the body away, knowing that he still had many to look to before his work was yet finished.

His thoughts drifted as he braced himself on his walking stick, moving slowly across the broken tile and stone. There were so many things that required attention, to say nothing of his own needs. The children would require an escort into Terrokar for their field trip, and at least half a dozen medicines needed to be made for the sick and ailing. Most importantly though, it was time to make his whereabouts known and ascertain his next trial. His current teacher was an interesting one to say the least. His tasks involved less action, and far more introspection. The half-orc often found himself consulting the elements more and more as he continued to complete trials, getting a much better feel for the instinctual pull. Given, it was much easier in Shattrath, or anywhere in Outlands. The elements veritably screamed at those who could hear them.

He knew, or at least he thought he knew what the purpose of coming to Outlands was. For every scream from the earth below him, there was a whisper from the air, a lull in the roar of the water, or a moment of silence as the flames settled to nothing more than a candle's. What was important was not to hear one, but to recognize each, and understand their meaning to the whole of his action. Balance, first and foremost, was the path he must travel upon. There was no way to trust his visions, for others to trust in his guidance, or to be sure that his use of the elements was the proper path without hearing every voice, every tiny beat in the endless song that wove through everything. A chuckle emerged from his throat, the rapid pitter-patter of tiny feet pulling him from his thoughts.

Color blasted into his mind for a split second, the image of a small elven child flying through the air etching deeply into his thoughts. He stopped and leaned down, opening his arms for the child to jump into,

"Good morning Kaelith." A split second later the child hit his chest, wrapping her arms around his neck as he caught her.

"Uncle Garinth!" she cried in delight, "How do you always know its me?"

The half-orc laughed and set the child down, taking a knee. "I've told you before little elf-child, I don't need to see you to know who's about to try and tackle me." The faint sound of shuffling feet on stone caught his ears, "Good morning to you as well Toya." He smiled, knowing well the small elf's shy partner in crime, "What mischief are you two up to this morning? Hopefully not harassing the Matron too much are you?"

He chuckled as he heard quick whipping sound of Kaelith's pigtails against the side of her head, "Nuh-uh!" replied the little girl indignantly, "We haven't bothered her all day! Been chasing chickens!"

The young shaman raised both eyebrows and nodded, "You have have you?" He paused to stand, moving a hand out to muss the child's hair, "Well make sure to stay out of the way of any adventurers, I don't want to have to beat anyone up."

The small troll finally laughed, "Choo couldn' 'urt anyone Mistah Fa'Seeh."

"Mmmm...that has yet to be seen Toya. Nobody's gotten run over yet, so I haven't had to try have I?" Garinth chuckled and leaned on his walking stick, "You two run along and stay safe, I'll see you both this afternoon after I finish checking in on everyone alright?" He smiled as he heard their quick movements, which he could only assume to be nods. After the sound of tiny running feet dissipated he sighed contentedly and raised his head, gazing sightlessly into the mist that hung over the city.

  3. Most of the dragons Pre-BC(which happens to be quite a few) have human forms, not elven. The only one I can think of off the top of my head that actually had an elven form was Haleh, the blue dragon matron. Nefarian, Onyxia, Kalaran, Vaelastrasz, Belnistrasz, and Sabellian(admitedly BC) all have human forms. Now, BC and apparently in WotLK its much more of a mix. The Bronze Dragonflight even has dragons that take on the form of gnomes...

Edit- On the note of Alexstrasza being a hobag. She DID have to pretty much pump out babies nonstop for the horde for the entirety of the time that she was imprisoned by them...

  4. Overall I'd say that as far as that goes, we have a pretty good balance. A lot of TNG isn't really about TN or WoW, it's more about the people ON TN talking, socializing, etc. And I've always liked that, it's good way to be social AND RP AND discuss server issues, and I think that rocks.

Does get pretty silly sometimes though, but there's been a noted crackdown on things tht cross the line.

This is why I check this forum 5 and six times a day. I know my post count isn't high, I tend not to find things that are actually worthwhile to contribute, so for the most part I just shut up and read. However, I have been trolling quietly for a while, and the only trend I've seen lately is a steady growth of asinine posts. The trouble is, a lot of them come from people I didn't formerly expect them from. I really like the lighthearted nature of the site, but the amount of trolling lately has become a bit excessive, and might require a bit more crackdown.

Imo, you shouldn't have to delete least not nearly as often as it sounds like you and the mods have to. People should be, for the most part, mature enough to know what is decent enough to post and what is just blatant douchebaggery. Common sense and courtesy shouldn't go away just because you're on the internet.

That being said, thats the ONLY thing I would change. I love this site, even if I don't post much. :x

  5. You...really can't make a BE female look that intimidating. The only thing they have going for them is the head tilt-"I'm gonna shove a harpoon down your throat" look that depends entirely on the face choice. But seriously....its at least more intimidating than "bounce bounce" Sylvanas.

  6. The other day Nomeni was like "Lawl I just killed this scrub hunter with a boar named BoarakObama!" Then I was like "lawl dood that was Kaldore" and he was like "RLY???"

Also, obligatory pvp happened on a pvp server remark here.

  7. Well obviously we're starting a bit low. We'll be in Kara until we can get the people together to do Gruul's and Mags. If it takes a while and we get people well enough geared we might just skip them until we do and hit up ZA. The problem right now is just getting the people together to start doing things. Currently we need a bit of everything, but heals and DPS especially.

So...if you know people...send 'em our way.

  8. Alright, if you troll the realm forums you've probably already seen this, but regardless I figured I'd post it here for interested parties...

Full Burn is a recently created raiding organization tasked with the purpose of making progress into endgame for people who would not normally have the means to do so. By this I mean people who are in small guilds and unable to raid due to that, people who wish to see 25-mans but do not currently have the gear, or people who simply cannot get into one of the larger raiding guilds/organizations due to lack of openings.

Currently we're looking for a bit of everything, but especially healers and dps. Requirements are simple. We ask that you show up, know your class, and want to have fun. We have absolutely no problem taking on off-specs, and lack of gear is something easily fixed with the proper initiative.

All information pertaining to raiding and what exactly we are looking for can be found at

If the information you are looking for cannot be found on the website, get in touch with myself, Therium, Hekatonkheri, Breitak, Vicailde, or Jemmalass in game. We'd be more than happy to answer your questions.

  9. Well, the whole reason behind the lifetap change was for PvP. Warlocks don't really run out of mana cause right now the higher geared warlocks can get around 24% of their mana back and take a minimal hit to their health. With the change its a percent for percent an equal percent. Which honestly, for PvE means that while you're going to be taking a heavier hit to your health, you'll get it back quicker, and you'll get more mana back per tap. IF you have a higher mana pool than health pool. But since most Warlocks have a health bar thats a good amount larger than their mana bar its going to be a rather large nerf on mana regen. However, if they regear warlock gear to be more like mages, warlocks will need less pots, and will be able to go for a longer time before needing to tap again. On top of that, while healers will see a bigger impact on the lock's health bar if they're tapping, its going to take a hell of a lot less mana to get them back up. IF they change the gear. Which they should, but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't.

Also, if it sticks so that you don't get more %mana back than %health so that the gear stays the same, you can say goodbye to warlock tanks in raids.

  10. You really can't compare this to illumination though. When illumination changed, it didn't make the effect worse the better geared you were. It was the opposite. The better geared you were the less of a hit you took. You could still heal just fine. And to be honest, I don't see a problem with the lifetap change, as long as the reitemize every piece of warlock gear out there. Right now, the better geared you are, the worse the lifetap change will hit you.

Lifebloom though, you could compare to illumination.

Not that it bugs me THAT much, I r teh feral.

  11. Some changes are going to be made to lifetap in an upcoming PTR build. Until that time I think we've got enough feedback.

Please hold your comments on this ability until the new version can be tested, then a new thread can be opened for feedback.

EDIT: Until the new implementation is available on the PTR new posts about Lifetap are going to be deleted.

I wasn't the only one to see this coming was I?

  12. The Chick with the Accent- Is the accent fake? Nobody knows or cares. Future visits to Australia/Britian/New Zealand/Alabama are now planned by all single raid members.

Dio. Minus the Chick part. And he doesn't raid with us anymore.

The Kid- So, you messed up on this guy’s interview and nobody noticed that he was 12. But, he can play. And if he gets a little bit excited when boobies are getting talked about? Hey, he’s young.

    Kia. Minus the interview part.

The Heir Apparent- When the GM goes psycho, ninjas the bank, and gdisbands, you're the guy the guild is gonna look to to to fix the mess. You see it coming. You can't decide if ritual suicide or being the new gm would be more painful.

    Brox. I'm far too grumpy/hermit-like. >_>

The Negative officer- “Jesus Christ why are there corpses under all these goddamn volcanoes? It’s Supremus for fuck's sake. GET OUT OF THE GODDAMN FLAME!” See Drunks, below.

    Breitak. Minus the officer part.

The Raid Leader- When you stand in the flames, he dies a little bit inside.

The Drunks- The core of your guild. As raid progresses, their voices in vent are getting just ever so slightly slurred. You don’t notice because you’re trying to sound sober yourself. DPS output seems to scale positively with blood alcohol content.

  13. For some reason I would have found this funnier if Thrall would have been killed while you were killing the Archbishop. "Hey...did you guys hear?... Thralls elite guard left Thrall sitting around with some paper dummies around him to kill some guy in Stormwind. Didn't even have a chance"

    Course thats just me.

<3 Okhu. Many many <3's for this.

I will save my rant on this subject for another day. : D

I'm going to have to agree. xD
