  1. Maybe this doesn't belong here. Maybe you don't want to read a whole damn book. Or maybe you do. Who am I to tell you what to do? Star Wars: Shadowcatcher
  2. <p>Did I hear something? Nah, it was probably just some old owl in the night.</p>

  3. Came by to look around, found a PM and now here I am. Main RP Toons: Aliss Dusksinger Horde Or Alliance? Alliance Guild: Invictus Sanctum What was your favorite RP event or storyline? The Weaver's storyline was the most fun I've ever had in RP and I wish I could do something like that again. It's impossible without just the right community to work with--and tons of time to invest in set up. Who is someone that you used to RP with and haven't heard from in a long time, that you miss the most? Someones, really. I think of people a lot, lately. Annulet, Ysengrim, Vindliah, Duroxas, Secus, Fennore, Shaii, Moonjade, Aiyan, Tuuroto, Talgriv, Branngas, SO MANY AWESOME PEOPLE. I can't even name them all. I haven't even used my authenticator in so long, I lent it to a friend who never checked out the accounts. Now I'm working on writing and graphic design. Wrote an illegal, unpublishable novel that I'm secretly distributing on the streets of Portland. All the while I think of the things I learned here about how to write, how to make characters that people care about and how to tell a story. *HUG*
  4. <p>Well well well, last activity 03-04-2013.. I see I'm not the only old face prowling these forums *grins*</p>

  5. Thanks to that awesome question, we've applied as of this morning. So, not yet, but hopefully soon. It's funny, I'd heard of Stitcher and hadn't even considered getting onto it. <3 Jan
  6. http://www.manifestfoundry.com/main/feed/podcast/ <Here's a link to IC&OOC's podcast feed specifically. Tuuroto: Thanks so much for the kind words! We spent a lot of time working on the podcast and it's absolutely wonderful to know that somebody likes it! It's even more amazing to think that we really do have information to offer. Nikaa:I can't believe that Podpress has all these RSS settings and then doesn't make the feed available in their widget. Poo on them. BUT thanks to your comment, I've excavated that precious link. Now people can actually add it to iTunes proper--manually that is. It'll probably be a month or so before we have enough episodes to get ourselves listed. Three should be enough, right? *cough*
  7. It's been awhile, and things have been crazy, but out of that primordial madness has risen something: a new podcast. I'm not sure if it's considered art, but I and my significant other made it and I did the cover art. And it's definitely all about RP. I wanted to share it with y'all, so please give us a listen at: http://www.manifestfoundry.com/main/2012/04/29/in-out-of-character-creation/ Deep (non-stabby) love, Aliss
  8. <p>We meeees joooo.</p>

  9. <p>All work and no play makes ShaiiShaii a dull girl. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /></p>

  10. <p>A chill ran down him at the Night Elf's touch; how unsurprisingly frigid her fingers were. His snarl faded somewhat, to be replaced with a possibly more dangerous calm. "You, I must say, are an excellent weaver. A weaver of words... for a moment you actually forced a flicker of doubt to cross my mind as to whether I could defeat you as we are right now, all by referencing the thought of the unknown... But that is all you are. Pretty words and glamour."</p>

<p>"the dark is your sanctuary" he mused quietly, allowing his free hand to wander through that darkness, eventually coming to land softly on her wrist and gently pulling it back from his face. "the dark is your informant, your protector, and your disguise all wrapped up into one. Shadows stretch far, there always seems to be a dark corner in every room... <strong>but</strong>-"</p>

<p>He smiles a bit wider as a semicircle of fire erupts from behind him; illuminating the scene. The smokey shadows fade away, and the firelight shines brightly and amplifies his silhouette. "With the simple action of lighting a candle, darkness must retreat once more... Where you are words, I am action."</p>

  11. <p>The taller elf startled with the shock of the impact, using prolonged scrutiny to buy time to recover from the jolt. She leans forward, whispering a warm blush of breath against his cheek. "New tricks," she purrs softly, long fingers seeking to rest lightly against his face. The gesture wasn't all that unlike the excessive gentleness she'd treated Meznier to--right before the end. "Such an exciting consequence of what you did to me." </p>

<p>A pair of ghostly pale eyes retreat as she leans back against the wall, smiling easily. "I <strong>do</strong> know what you're capable of. What should frighten you is that you don't know what I... could do... to you--now that you've left me so much time to wait in the dark."</p>

  12. <p>He whirled upon her in a streak of red fury. Slam; his palm hit the almost wooden-sounding wall that seems to have materialized behind her right near her ear, the shadows wafting around the two as he pinned her close against it. His face was inches from hers, face construed on the verge of an outright snarl. "New tricks? New tricks is what you want to see from me, hmmm? Why do you hide in the dark, Aliss? Why don't you and your pretentiousness walk out into the open?"</p>

<p>He leans forward ever so slightly. "Could it be because you know already that if you did, I'm still capable of doing far worse to you than you could ever do to me? And with just what you <strong>know </strong>I can do at that."</p>

  13. <p>She returns his fanged smile with her own; dark purple lips spread thin beneath glowing eyes. "Oh, well in that case..." Suddenly, she frowns in mock-consternation. "What is that human phase again? It seems ever so appropriate. Oh yes! Take a ticket and wait in the queue. Not that you were ever one for respecting even social contracts... but perhaps old <strong><em>filth</em></strong> can learn new tricks?"</p>
