Missives are also found on the doorsteps of the major guild halls, all marked with the seal of the Grim. THE GREAT HUNT BAYS FOR BLOOD In a test of skill, daring, trickery and ruthlessness, the Grim are issuing a call for all Horde to register a team to compete in the Goblin arena, in order that our blades may be sharpened and honed by fighting the best and fiercest among us, and the vile Alliance. The Great Hunt is intended to cull our weak and t

Word's floating around that April 11 is the day for Duskwood PehVehPehs, so maybe we can figure out wrap up dates for the week after.

  4. ((From the RP that took place on March 2)) Ulrezaj scratches his head, questioning Kex'ti's reasoning. Aderlee says: Wat makes ju say dat? Kexti says: Twilight Empire has more or less confirmed that Wreave is a catalyst in a ritual to transform mortals into demons. Leyujin looks over at Ul-Rezaj, and nods his head nearly imperceptibly. Kexti says: The conspiracy preys on the weak and helpless, so they will not be missed, and turned into weapons. You hail Cobrak. Cobrak nods at you. Syreena narrows her eyes as she listens. Kexti nods at Cobrak. Cobrak lights his pipe, taking a quick
  5. You nod at Cobrak. Cobrak nods at you. Leyujin says: 'ey der brotha. Desim unzips the body bag and pulls the succubus's corpse out There was a grievous wound in her abdomen, a blade had pierced through her, leaving a hole large enough to see through. Some sort of autopsy had been performed, leaving several cuts on the chest that would allow the cavity to be opened and examined. Cobrak says: Oi Ley.... Desim says: Everything below the head is regular for this creature. Everything from the D-cups to fel corruption and mutation of its extremities Leyujin eyes the corpse dispassionately
  6. The Wordbearer glanced over the report, written on soft vellum, with narrowed eyes. One of his spies, a Darkspear headhunter who had embedded himself in the Skullsplitter tribe by means of black magic, had contacted him through a dead drop which was regularly checked by Grim servitors. The spy had killed a low-ranking Skullsplitter scout and impersonated him by a dark ritual that involved some very foul-smelling glue, a concoction derived from spider and fly eyeballs, and the scout's own skull. That was really neither here nor there. What concerned the troll warrior was the report's contents.
  7. Dude, that I can do. I'll rally the troops. Shit gonna git DANK
  8. I'm out next week going to the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, so I'm basically deadwood until the 6th. I'll help pass the word around though.
  9. Dude, the more the merrier! I'll add this to the original post. Also, once I get some time I'll see if I can make those changes, Shaelie. I'm using the AMD Gaming Evolved application, which I think is based on Raptr/is Raptr in disguise.
  10. All good suggestions, Xara! Might make some of those changes, 'cept the minimap one. As you might've noticed, I actually have the shift-M map up, but I just can't read people's positions on the tiny thing like I can when I bring up the full map. That, is a personal defect, but I ain't no killin' machine, jus' an average boi
  11. Awright. So it's a showdown. SHOGUNDOWN. No seriously, have some PvP videos, on us, the Horde. GL HF DDAS *Because of a change in recording software and my gross incompetence with the new program, my voice is unrecorded for these two. But the resolution is about thrice as good as what I used to use! Huzzah! ----------
  12. Team Fite Nite will be there. It'll be a good way to start off the nite.
  13. Hey Skylah, it was a really fun event, thank you and everyone Horde-side who helped coordinate it. Those were some really intense, nail-biting battles. I had fun. Looking forward to more. Also, we were supes nervous as well; it happens to everyone!
  14. Thanks Mortica, for this labor of love. Pretty amazing.
  15. Mmm, you haven't had a coordinated world pvp team do hit and run tactics on you, Marrus? We had a squad of Alliance come into Orgrimmar earlier this year with at least half or more of the group having goblin rocket boots and other things. They were good, and they were also on point on when to pull back and string us out. The ability to make a total rapid retreat at greater speed than we could was a significant advantage. All I'm saying is, if you have all the toys and know how to use them, the only way you'll be stopped by a group that doesn't have those toys is if that group knows how to cou
  16. I'm totally cool with buff consumables being allowed; I am an Alchemist, after all. So if that's what's wanted, then great. And Marrus and Kexti, I'm cool with your view too, although that's probably in the hardcore end of the WPvPer spectrum. In that case, you have to allow Sinister Spores, glitter dust, Gnomish Gearworks/Goblin Workshop type stuff, and that's when you get James Bond squads like Teed and so on who fly away on Skyterror Delivery Systems. And that naturally limits who gets to play on an even playing field. That would be fun to do sometime though...
  17. I think all the buff consumables should be disallowed. All that does is make the team which spends more time preparing have an advantage. Leave those for city raids and free world pvp. When trying to make rules for an event, it's best to make it as even as possible for those who invest time into the game and those who don't. That's my suggestion.
  18. Hey Illiana, because of the schedule change I'm not sure who is still making it, but the count we have for the Grim is five. Plus whoever shows up. I can't make it because west coast is best coast, except for the time difference.
  19. Leyu'jin grit his teeth as he sat in the silence of his room, deep within the Grim bastion. He had kept his emotions absolutely hidden from the rest of his guildmates, for so long now, but here in the privacy of his quarters he could barely restrain himself from screaming with rage. The stress and sorrow had taken its toll, though he kept his face as a mask of steel in public. His dirty nails dug into the palms of his hands until they bled, dripping viscous fluid slowly down his wrists and congealing on the floor. The wounds regenerated quickly, so whenever he left his room no one had any inkl
  20. *Setting: several weeks before the assault on Grim Batol, at the Borrowed Time garrison. Fhenrir has just met with Leyu'jin, Khorvis, Naheal, Kex'ti, and several members of the Grim regarding the impending invasion. Their assembly has dispersed, and Naheal requests Leyu'jin's attention for further discussion.* Naheal says, “Shall we, Leyu'jin?” The white-haired troll nods at Shaelie as he and Naheal leave the central building. Turning to the blood elf mercenary, the warrior states solemnly, “Aye, fo' wut remains ta be discussed.” Raising his hand, Naheal gestures towards the garrison's tav
  21. ((Sorry; for my part these last two weeks of July are the worst possible for finishing a big storyline. Don't know how it is with everyone else. We'll try to get around to this when we can, Nikaa. ))
  22. The white-haired troll grinned and nodded. "Aye. Enuff talkin'." He waves imperiously. "Joo all know wut we face, now it be da time ta knock down Morinth's door an' git back our own. Grim, move out!"
