Wandering tavern under attack!

Troll Opens bar in Stormwind. Locals strongly protest.

(05/24)

A small gathering of Horde were forced to flee to Thunder Bluff via portal from the basement of the Blue recluse last night after a band of Alliance adventurers with the aid of Stormwind law enforcement stormed the inn, overwhelming the Horde held up inside it. The Horde unit, comprised of members from the Frost Wolf Brotherhood, Warsong Liberators and Raven Cross, made their way though Goldshire and reached the city’s gates at approximately 8:45. The Horde encountered heavy resistance when they entered the trade district, but after a long battle (And being beaten into unconsciousness.), the horde moved into the mage district, where they held the Blue Recluse tavern for approximately an hour.

Despite the damage caused, Zob’jun Rupp, a member of the Warsong Liberators, and owner of the Wandering tavern claimed that he did not come to Stormwind looking for a fight, but rather because he felt it was the most convenient location for his Alliance customers, and claimed that the war band that he was with were actually the body guards that so many had suggested be hired in response to the recent attacks on the tavern.

“Ah just thought dat, Ya know since we was gonna be in Stormwind, ah could use as much ‘elp as we could git!”

When asked why they didn’t go though the harbor to avoid running into Alliance forces, or even just setting up shop in Elwynn forest, the troll covered his ears and began singing loudly. Zob’jun also claimed to have tried talking with the Alliance but negotiations got off to a rough start when the troll fired several arrows at an Alliance Death knight who had moved away from the main group, and it only went south from there.

“Aleria would never had done something this reckless!” Said Ron Stevenson, a local shop keeper. We never really asked for his opinion, but he seemed intent on letting us hear it. “Back in MY DAY, the tavern was run by good, light worshipin’ Alliance folk, not these damned green-skins!” one of the Horde body guards was quick to reply with the swing of their mace, breaking both of the man’s arms in one fluid motion. Zob’jun, who had taken to drinking between the skirmishes, began accusing Ms. Fadeleaf as a “weak, know-it-all cripple-bitch.” Shortly after, during their escape, the Troll took a nasty tumble down the basement stairs and broke both his legs, forcing him to crawl to the portal.

In Thunder Bluff, the group tended to their wounds, and described the venture as a “Great Victory”, earning the tavern some much needed publicity. Tending to his legs, Zob’jun stated that “While shootin’ some punk-ass allies be fun, ‘opefully tings gonna go mo’ smoothly next week.”

Tyran takes a copy of the paper and starts reading the headlines, where he recognized the name, "Rupp".

"What is this? Blatantly assaulting Stormwind to open a TAVERN there? Attacking innocent townsfolk? Unwarranted violence?"

Tyran would let out a deep, sorrowful sigh, rolling the paper up and placing it in his bag. "I thought he was already doing a good job of harming the customers he already has. I don't think others need to be exposed to him."

Minovar sat on a bench somewhere in the mage district of stormwind city, dressed in a modest suit and tie. The Draenei looked over the article displayed in the 'twisting nether gazette'.

After a long pause he stood from his seat. The once tranquil gardens of the mage district were...
