  1. ~WANTED!~ Bounty of The Jade Lion

*Posed throughout billboards, walls, and other locations in Alliance territory can be found these recently placed wanted posters* WANTED! Wanted - Captured Danariel Bishara-Poor, and known crew of The Jade Lion By order of the guard, any known members of the ship of The Jade Lion are to be arrested or captured on sight. Last known to be somewhere off the coast of Westfall, presumably using an old Defias hideout. The ship, The Jade Lion (property of the Royal Alliance Navy) was last seen being stolen on its last duty station of Menethil Harbor. The former captain Danariel Bishara-Poor was observed recklessly setting sail without order and crashing into two docks and puncturing the hull of a docked merchant ship, sinking it. The former captain is also suspected to be involved in the recent murder of two gravediggers near the graveyard in Ravenhill, Duskwood. Known crew members to have assisted in the theft include: Raeh (former Commander), Verrek, Elrich Raynes, Falia, and possibly the escaped fugitive Resia 'Lightstone'. Any information that helps lead to the capture of these suspects will be rewarded 200 gold each. Any information that leads to the capture of the ship itself will be rewarded 1,000 gold. The Jade Lion is a triple decked, frigate-class ship. The ship is heavily modified with gnomish technology and a reinforced hull and ram. Caution is advised if approaching or confronting the ship, or the crew. It is recommended to report any seen activity to an alliance official.
  2. The Jade Lion

Had our first adventure as a guild tonight since the TNG update! Thanks to all who came and to the new guildies who had their first adventure with us.
  3. The Jade Lion

<The Jade Lion>Backstory:The Jade Lion is a frigate class ship of the Alliance Navy, named in honor of the Tushui Pandaren who joined the Alliance. Its goal: to protect the naval interests and waterways of the Allaince, be they under threat from pirates, hostile creatures, or even the Horde. While the ship may be named in honor of the pandaren, it is still a part of the Alliance Navy meaning its crew comes from a variety of races. Originally under the command of Captain Zhii Fa, a Tushui pandaren himself, he left for personal reasons back to his homeland, leaving the command of his ship to Commander Danariel. Operating from its base in the port-town of Surwich, The Jade Lion awaits its orders from Alliance command for its next voyage... and next adventure.Info:The Jade Lion is a RP-PvP guild, meaning we do RP and PvP, usually in that order of importance. Every week we have an on the calendar RP adventure that is very similar to a D&D style adventure, if a bit lighter on rules. Each scheduled weekly RP event builds off of last weeks, meaning that it creates a campaign where choices from before will affect what occurs in the future, however, there are also smaller side arcs occurring between characters, and smaller adventures may happen randomly on different days. Random RP usually occurs everyday, so just ask in guild chat if anyone is, or is willing to RP.As mentioned, we do PvP as well! Most of the guild participates in some form of PvP, be it world, rated or something else. Many of our guild mates are seasoned PvP arena experts, and are willing to help you out in gearing or learning the ropes of the arena. If you are more experienced, be willing to help out those who are not as well since we all started out as a day one, no clue what we are doing, PvPer. If you are looking for arena buddies, many of us have multiple classes to help make an arena comp. RBGs are something we are currently working on, and we have done a few, but there is no day set aside for consistent RBGs as of yet.Joining:Simply ask myself, Danariel-Twistingnether, or someone in the guild you see on to join. We will give you an OOC rank with no privileges until we can set aside a time to do a formal RP interview, or something of a similar nature, at which point you will be promoted to an IC rank with increased privileges. We also have an OOC rank with privileges if you simply wish to join for PvP reasons, however it is encouraged you do RP, since this is primarily a RP guild. Rules:The rules are fairly simple for this guild, mostly coming from common sense. I don't wish to enforce rules, but if someone does come out of line to badly it will be done.1) Follow the Terms of Service (ToS) made by Blizzard. You would be banned or suspended from the game otherwise, so just don't break them.2) Good sportsmanship. While this rule is very wide open, its just common courtesy to be nice.3) RP and PvP. If you don't RP or PvP... what are you doing here? 4) "Villain" characters. While you won't be required to RP a mary-sue nice person, or even a nice person, this is still the Alliance military. Short answer: don't be a stereotypical evil character, they just would not mix well with the guild. Exceptions may be made if done right, however. If you have any questions feel free to ask me in game or by some other method. If I am not on, ask about us to anyone who is online! Someone will get you to the right person, so don't be shy.
  4. Drinn: October 16, 1980 to June 21, 2016

I'm terribly sad to hear this... I, and a few others in the Jade Lion, have fond memories of the events we did with the Grim that Drinn was apart of. We've had a great time with the PvP we did with Drinn, and will be missed.
  5. Having talked to the individual myself as well, I find it disappointing that this has occurred. Our guild, The Jade Lion, will support more acceptance to anyone who wishes to get into, or back into, role-play on all of our realm. I hope this message can shed more light onto the topic, and for people to be aware when they see it so they can help put a stop to a damaging and hurtful practice.
  6. ((April 13th marks one year since The Jade Lion's founding... and to celebrate we will be hosting an RP ball! More info to come, plan for 7pm server time however.))
  7. New update for the guild: We will be holding our weekly RP adventure on Tuesday nights, at 7:00 pm server time.
  8. Weekly Alliance RP Tavern Night

Wednesday...? Thursday has the most votes, next being Tuesday.
  9. Quorum: An Eerie Plot

((These will be straight copy-and-pastes from entries of my "Jade Lion Official Reports Logs" that pertain to the Quorum plot. The rest of the logs can be found at this link, should you be interested: http://wow-tng.org/showthread.php?23671-Jade-Lion-Official-Report-Logs )) *This letter is sealed with the official symbol of the Alliance Navy* Date: 21-JANUARY Ship/Class: "The Jade Lion" Frigate-class Report by: Captain Bishara-Poor, Danariel Report: Our mission to inspect the beached horde ship off the eastern coast of Swamp of Sarrows occurred without major incident. Maps, journals, supplies, and some odd creatures were recovered from the vessel. The ship, which we thought might have been a stray abandoned ship from the Horde blockade, turned out to be a second war era freighter-class ship, flying the Stormreaver Clan's flag. Hull damage suggests the ship was shot with cannons, but why a ship from over twenty years ago has beached now is beyond me, but the boarding team found interesting intel that was unknown during the war back then, and the ship itself held some surprising secrets. The main deck of the ship was found to be nothing special, just dust built up from many years of abandonment. The second floor of the ship was also nothing special, other then some luxury goods and some alcoholic drinks much to our dwarvern priest Bravish's happiness; however, the captain's cabin held old maps that confirm the ship was indeed used during the second war by the Horde. They marked down various odd coordinates that do not make sense on one of the maps, on the southern tip of Kalimdor in the Uldum desert. Why would they be marking down coordinates there when the war was being fought mostly in the northern Eastern Kingdoms? Other random maps were found; Tol-Barad island, the coast of northern Kalimdor, and even maps of Draenor such as Shadowmoon Valley. These, however, had no coordinates marked on them. The next deck again held nothing surprising, left over magical rituals were found, but our mage did not find any current or dangerous magical spells or enchantments active. Considering that the Stormreaver Clan was the clan of warlocks, its not a surprise to find an old summoning circle. Most of the supplies on this deck was just alchemical components. The last deck is what held the most interesting intel. This deck held the crew quarters and kitchen, which just held personal belongings of the crew and old food, but our Commander Raeh was able to spot a small, out of place hole in the wall on the far side of the kitchen. Our mage, Cicelle, tried prodding at the hole with some magic, only for it to shock her. She was fine, however, she was able to find out this was a magically warded room. We were able to find an odd key and it worked for this hole, which opened up to a hidden room containing the most shocking find. Slugs like creatures in tubes were found, pale and iridescent. They were eerie, seeming to follow us as soon as we walked into the room, twitching oddly. An empty box was found on the table in the small room, with weird runes that hurt the eyes to stare at. The journals we found here contained... a scary plot should it of succeeded. The texts themselves tell all you need to know, and how it pertains to the supplies we found. The slug creatures were destroyed by our mage shortly after her reading of it. *The journals are rather faded and old, some parts hard to read but the following can be made out* -A list of names of Stormwind councilors. In a different hand, at the end of the script is scrawled: “We are undone. Regent Valconis has proven remarkably willful.” -Page open: “We found the Tarvos Parasite, and killed Morgorr to extract it from his flesh, when it became obvious that he had grown mad under the creature’s influence. We put the vessel it formed from his body, as well as the nucleus, into the box we acquired from Subjugation’s Tongue. It creates a blade, and imparts a great degree of sensitivity to void magic when wielded. We’ll deliver it to the Beast in Repose when we next put ashore.” -Last entry: “The Mooncalves we pulled from the Corpse of the Sea have proven remarkably hearty. But we are running out of test subjects. They easily burrow into the skin, and find instinctively the host’s spine, which the follow unerringly towards the brain, where they pierce the skull and begin to form a bridge with the host. Those so bound easily bend to the will of those trained in the Void. While these methods are clearly more reliable than the current campaign’s current direct manipulation, I retain my belief that simply eliminating the zealots in the human government may lead to more immediate results than any long-term social manipulation.”

  14. What is up with WoW these days?

Well early welcome back! (if you do decide to join again). Plenty of RP to go around like everyone else has said. Plenty of guilds, and random RPers, willing to RP with you alliance side! I'd imagine the OOC chat is the same channel from back in the wrath era, but just ask someone in game that RPs if you don't know it. We even have a new IC channel if that's your thing.
