I of course would really like to participate, but Nadea and I are poor college students, I'm not sure if we'd be able to pull off a trip. Things may change though!

((Curently? 1% chance, realistically speaking. That's also the chance of it changing.))

im suprised you have any chance Zust. My parents wouldve never let even the idea of something like that happen. Chicago? I live in Florida!

Brakogar didn't specifically say half way around the world, he said half a world away. Maybe that means he lives on another planet?

I'm not sure why this means you wouldn't be able to attend though. The expansion should be out by then. Just have a Dranei fly you to TNG Con in one of thier spaceships...

I would love to attend but I live more than half a world away.

The above did not just mean geographical location, it was something deeper than that but it appears that it was missed.

Now everybody have already heard me bitch that Australia is a hell hole for what Americans would typicaly call a geek since there are no Conventions, Sci-Fi channels, local comic book stores, etc.

Now there is always the option to travel to other countries in order to get my geek dosage but we all know that Australia is geographicaly about half a planet away from the US (roughly). This makes the country isolated from the rest of the western world making it extremely difficult (and expensive) to attend anything cool like E3 or any other geek convention in the world where they speak English or European language. This also affects my Ebaying as I have to wait up to 2 months (a couple of times it was 3) for some item to arrive from the US or Europe (Airmail would cost more than the item itself), I was very lucky with the X-Men DVDs since it was a guy in Asia who sold them.

Basically what I mean is that I am geographicaly half a world away and the "more" is the frustrations that comes with living on a geek deserted island in the middle of the ocean.
