View Full Version : Name your character quirks!

Teelia
06-10-2006, 07:47 AM
I don't have FlagRSP or anything, so I miss out of character quirks sometimes. Sometimes, I can pick up a quirk from just RPing with a person, but sometimes I can't. I'd be interested to know if any of the people I RP with have any that I don't know about....

Example, Teelia's quirks:

She tries to have good manners, she doesn't seem to like to wear shoes, and she seems to always end up getting wet. She's also a bit naive when it comes to social situations.

Any fun quirks, write em here!

Rhowen-Prea
06-10-2006, 08:07 AM
Rhowen's right ear is missing. There's only about the first four or five stumpy inches.

Kelouran has the insignia of the Shadow Council branded on his neck.

Pira has a scar, poorly healed, that wraps around her neck.

Aquizit
06-10-2006, 08:42 AM
Pylith doesn't like to drink all that much... for a dwarf...

Gloomberry
06-10-2006, 08:45 AM
Gloomberry had some trouble shapeshifting as a cat when he was a young druid, there was an accident .. and now he has cat-like features. Almost therianthropic. And he spends a lot of time in cat form.

Alucian
06-10-2006, 09:01 AM
Alucian is just generally quiet. I haven't had him have one lately, but he gets something akin to addiction pains that manifest as physical pain in his chest every now and again. If he's wearing a shirt that's open in the front, you can see a hand-shaped scar that is slowly healing.

Pepperine just has grease and soot on her face. ;)

Rosemerta
06-10-2006, 09:20 AM
Rosey has one human eye and one elven eye, and wears a soulstone around her neck. She's also not really all that pretty.. Cute, girl next doorish, but not the "OMGWTF HAWT" that most people are ;p

My druid, in cat form, has a fetish for leather boots ON people's feet. If your a rogue, other druid, or Hunter under 40, beware, you will need new shoes ^_~ She likes how it tastes!

She's also pretty young as elves and druids go, only about 200 years. She's like thoes 12 year olds who graduate college and run their own business free from parental control :O Realy not old enough to be doing so, but doing it anyway.

And she has a Dwarf fettish too >.<;

Vilmah
06-10-2006, 09:54 AM
Vilmah is very young and naive on just about everything. She hasa scar on her head, and is exceptionally squeamish when it comes to "adult" situations.

Oh. And she has big boobs.

Chavie
06-10-2006, 10:14 AM
Chavie's face looks like the lovechild of Harle (http://www.galbadiax.com/chronocross/harle.jpg) and The Joker (http://www.nobbynees.com/podcasting/images/joker.jpg), going through a goth phase. (The makeup rather clashes with her mask, which she takes off for special occasions.) The corners of her mouth are slit, giving her a very wide smile.

more comfortable in pants than a skirt
loves floppy hats and the color purple
always feels better in shadowform
is afraid of the day when, to be an efficient healer
she'll be forced to wear a froofy gown.

She likes things that are on fire.

Oh yeah... and she talks in a funny sing-song sort of way.

Aendra
06-10-2006, 10:28 AM
Hm. The only thing I can really say about Aendra is that her personality fluctuates sometimes, depending on the situation, because she's a people-pleaser. She's the PR for Thorns and Roses, more or less, and is good at knowing what type of person her clients want to do business with, so she tends to give them that.

Also, even though she's not a "girly girl" by Teelia's standards, she does like to wear revealing and/or pretty clothing.

Shadowspeak
06-10-2006, 11:09 AM
Shadowspeak is your normal looking Undead, no parts missing, hair nice and neat (except it is pale with rot).

He heates dying. While it's normal for him and anyone else to die during battles he hates it because it means hes been "defeated" in a way.

He cares for his fellow Horde, even though he insults them constantly.

He is almost allways is shadowform.

He can commonly be sleeping though it isn't sleeping it's his "prayer"

he has a strange mask that he rarely wears, but keeps on his belt. Unfortunatly I can't link it so-

It has two eyes that resemble a snakes eyes, they are like slits. The mask has no features other than the eyes, no mouth ore anything. The right eyehole has a line of red ink dripping down from it, resembling a tear drop of blood.

get flagRSP, it helps so much!

Noury
06-10-2006, 11:34 AM
Nouri looks just like you would expect from a recently "civilized" hermit that lived in caves for years, including a stint living among troggs.

His personal grooming habits are a bit lacking. Not that his BO is all that bad (the priests and abbots of the Cathedral make sure he gets regular baths) and his teeth are nice, but he really doesn't think about brushing his hair, let alone cutting it. Its a wild mane of sandy brown flecked with premature grey, and the occasional twigs. At least he has learned to trim his beard from time to time.

His fingernails and toenails are horrendous! As Teelia and Aendra learned last night, he has no clue what a 'pedicure' or 'manucure' is..

Also when he eats, its a good idea to have a bib on standby, and a washbasin. He won't be invited back to many high society functions unless he gets some etiquette training from someone of noble upbringing..

Oh, and I almost forgot, he's allergic to cats and strawberries..

Barke
06-10-2006, 11:59 AM
Hmm. Blind in one eye which is a dull silver now.

Always wearing a certain troll charm and his own obsidian pendant around his neck.

Does not speak like a normal elf mostly as a joke.

And loves to hit things.

I think thats it....

Oh wait. Addicted to Cherry Grog.

Sanrin
06-10-2006, 12:57 PM
Boyish, playful, and ever exaggerated in his actions (whatever they may be). Sanrin prefers to be on the frontline, causing visible difference rather then sit low and play the more subtle aspects of any game, and this is more then clear in his mannerisms.
Young considering his accomplishments, his white hair can easilly be seen as a family trait, more then a definition of age. He also has a spider (aptly named Scratch) of whom he is quite fond of, always stowed upon his Ram or skittering about his feet.

Pythre-Co
06-10-2006, 01:07 PM
Pythre tends to use her teeth as a sign of affection.

She's a major asshole and overly honest.

EnheilRas
06-10-2006, 02:44 PM
The EnheilRas is mean, bad-tempered, incredibly impatient, and quickly takes command of situations. Any kind of rebuffing of his orders he deems disrespectful of him and his rise of power over the Horde, which usually flares him to wide spats of berating and ridicule of said insolence. He takes rank very seriously, and is genuinely cocky and arrogant in terms of his power.

He is increasingly showing racist tendencies of Forsaken, and doesn't seem to mind them dying as much (i.g. "Grummus is dead? Oooh well.." in contrast to, "Help Vol'talar! The Door must not be unlocked!"). The Sin'dorei may be beaten in the street when they first arrive (It would be like the end of segragaton in the University of Alabama).

He is courageous and brash, and impulsively throws himself into the thralls of an offense, apathetic if he's being backed up or not, because his Far Seer Powers, in his perception, have given him basic immortality due to reincarnation.

His scars and wounds from warfare are innumerous, and his four clan markings (Warsong, Bleeding Hollow, Frostwolf, High Fist) are very noticable.. He does not have the Mark of Chaos upon his palm like other Orcs his age, nor are his eyes red.

His armor is always clean. His weapons are always extremely well-maintained from decades of being a weaponsmith in Kilrogg's clan, serving the Bleeding Hollow in Ironforge during the Horde Occupation.

He's not one to argue against, but most have learned to follow and do what he says, as he is an extremely brilliant military tactician.

..and if you tickle him under his arm, he giggles until a little pee actually comes out..

Garbhan
06-10-2006, 04:18 PM
Garbhan is a chain-smoker. He likes his cigars. His voice is like gravel accordingly and when he runs, he wheezes quite loudly. His cough sounds like something ought to be coming up, but nothing ever does.

He drinks a LOT, even for a dwarf. Especially in dungeons. He tends to get right royally shit-faced. It's actually because he's depressed about his role in groups. He was a warrior once, but now his body is failing and he's not strong enough to continue on that path.

He's almost completely blind. He lost one eye due to pooling blood from a wound years back, and in his old age, the other one has started to fade. You know, to be fair.

He's not exactly thrilled about being alive. His day is past and he doesn't understand why he hasn't passed away yet. He's becoming grumpier and more cantankerous as the weeks go by. That's why he likes hitting on young girls of other races. It's a game to him, and he likes making them uncomfortable.

Due to his age, failing health, and drinking habits, he looks rather unhealthy for a dwarf. He's all around thinner then most, as the most excercise he gets is generally carrying reports to the mailbox and the occasional bit of alchemy. Not to say he couldn't kick the ass of a ninety-year old human, which is basically the age comparison.

He has all his teeth, strangely enough.

Fhenrir
06-10-2006, 04:47 PM
Fhenrir is very emotional.

He tries to maintain a serious, professional appearance but usually throws that away at the drop of a hat. The emotion he tends to present most is anger, because he has a very low tolerance for incompetence. Interestingly enough, he tries to be a good tauren and is also annoyed by anything less than the most kind of people. Kinda hypocritical.

He's also shorter and thicker-built than many tauren.

Rhowen-Prea
06-10-2006, 06:00 PM
but not the "OMGWTF HAWT" that most people are ;p

GO go people like us. I've actually used the word "ugly" to describe Rhowen in Flag - it's not that she's a horror, but when compared to the glimmery, gorgeous women of her race, she's pretty much... well... ugly. Her skin does not glow in the moonlight, she does not smile kindly, her eyes do not twinkle with gentle loveliness. She does not have a pretty face, she's thin - malnourished, even.

She's old, she's bitter, she walks with a limp, and she's usually in a foul mood. If it isn't something going on in her life, it's just because her old bones ache. ^_~

Zasu
06-10-2006, 08:15 PM
Zasu- (Troll Hunter)

She is generally quiet. She likes people but does better in small group situations (a couple of people) than in large crowds. She is not a fan of city life. She is methodical, patient and slightly Obsessive- compulsive. She has a tallstrider as a pet but is obsessed with raptors.

She has a brand of a windserpent on her left wrist (only visible if she isn't wearing bracers and gloves). Her features (nose, lips) are small and delicate. She is very plain looking- not 'hawt' in any way shape or form. She always wears her hair pulled up into a ponytail.

Gardenia- (Undead Mage)

She is very meek and timid and is constanly fidgeting. Gardenia is kind but a bit emotional. She speaks with a slight stutter when nervous. She is a voracious reader.

Her hair is a mousy purple shade that just sort of hangs there. She has the usual rot of the forsaken, and no outstanding features.

Gerta- (Orc Rogue)

Gerta is just about the opposite of Gardenia- she is very outgoing, flirtatious, confident. She doesn't like to keep close friends but thrives in any social situation. She can be concieted.

She has bright green skin and deep blue eyes. Her thick purple hair is pulled back into a ponytail. She's got curves. All around good looking (and vain  ).

Thurgo
06-10-2006, 08:44 PM
Thurgo is quiet and not quite skilled in social interaction, and usually works best alone...

If you ever really get to know him you would find he often changes his mind, sometimes acts hypocritically, and often contradicts things he may have previously done/said. Mostly because I can't make up my mind as the player ;)

As an example he may be naive one moment, and, when in total safety, be overcome with a wave of paranoia...

One moment preaching the nobility of the tauren race, the other killing civilians of their kind in cold blood...

Oh and uh...hes kinda clumsy...

Rasta
06-10-2006, 10:44 PM
Rasta has very low self-esteem, as he has several traits of albinism, including lack of any kind of hair (anywhere), pink eyes, and fairer skin (although it's not much lighter than average, so it's not very noticeable). He holds himself to a high standard of conduct and living, as he is very devout in his worship of the Light. He is rarely prideful and tends to avoid confrontations whenever possible, and thus is kind and congenial to most. And, since he is largely separated from the customs, traditions, and culture of trolls, he holds no grudges against the alliance, and thus only fights when he needs to, rarely out of personal motivation. No special story for how he got his cat, Legend, except that he chose her for her exceptional quickness in combat. (side note: I chose the name Legend because Jenna, the name of the girl I like, apparently can't be used as a name. If you're a hunter, try it yourself... you can't name your pet Jenna... I still haven't figured out why :P)(oh and, Legend is one of her nicknames.)

And that's about it as far as quirks go... he's really not all THAT quirky... except for his sense of fashion. hehe.

Niethan
06-10-2006, 11:22 PM
This could be quite the list. I pretty much build the character around the quirks.

Niethan's got the medium blue skin and medium-large tusks; the kind that go straight out in front like a cartoon bull. He's got red eyes and is supposed to have purple paint under them, but he tends to forget to put it on. His hair is in a deep black-blue braid, thinner than the usual style as roughly half of his hair was cut off.

He has an odd preoccupation with zombies. He insists that they are not Forsaken, and he makes up whole lists of ways to avoid and/or destroy them. He has quite clearly stated that a bow will not work, only guns.

He writes lists of things. Lists of people he's met, lists of things to do or get, lists of place to go and places he's been, etc. His largest is the List of People to be Afraid Of.

Niethan will flat-out admit he's a coward, but this often seems to contridict his actions. He avoids most conflicts with people, but will readily stand to defend just about anyone (providing that they haven't pissed him off) as he's foolishly loyal. He tries to be very cautious, but has a bad habit of doing the most stupid action available at exactly the wrong time- usually when there's nobody else around to stop him.

His "pet" moonstalker, Sigrun, is named for a dwarven (ie, Nordic) legend; specificly, a Valkyrie. She has apparently made it very clear that she is not his pet- he is her troll.

He can occasionally be found "sleeping" with his eyes open, usually sitting in a safe place, but sometimes while still walking.

Niethan has, on occasion, admitted that he does not sleep.

Chingaso
06-10-2006, 11:33 PM
He's not one to argue against, but most have learned to follow and do what he says, as he is an extremely brilliant military tactician.
Except Zusteakai who mocks him for kicks.
And Chingaso who think he full of kodo dung.

Chingaso speak in broken Orcish that annoy some but explained by fact that Chingaso teach self to speak after family killed by filthy man-elfs. And Chingaso too busy teach self to hunt to worry too much about speak good.

Image of Souther

Souther has roughly the mental developement of a twelve year-old in a forty-three year-old body. (He was in a magic coma for thirty-one years) And although he is adjusting as well as can be expected it's been very difficult.

His body is wracked with fel energy. His skin is mutated, having an odd complextion and small black scars and marks everywhere, some of it is scarred from fire.

He has intense burning pains as a result of the demonic corruption, especially in his extremities. His right hand and forearm bears worst of the almost crippling pain.

During the coma he saw the birth and maturation of a girl, and he experience her ups and downs alongside her growing up. Sharing her deep emotions and hidden feelings caused him to develope a strong feeling for the girl. He woke up just as she turned seventeen.

Souther wanders the face, looking for his parents to confront them about what they did to him, as well as to find the girl he has loved in his dreams.

He is somewhat socially uncomfortable and meek, but is quite intense emotionally on the inside. Unfortunately, he is turning very hateful, angry, and bitter. The physical and emotional suffering has taken a heavy toll, and his thoughts often turn black and self-destructive. He desperately looks to find that girl to make everything in his life better again, but...

No one knows just how much demonic energy is in his body, but he has never in his life opened a spellbook, and yet can command fel magic with incredible ease. One sensitive to such things might mistake him for two or three Eredar in the distance.

The girl he is in love with used to have an imaginary friend named "Souther" when she was little, so perhaps she did notice him to some extent? She has incredible inner and outer strength and courage, and the Light is strong within her.

If that weren't enough, the fel energies that forced his body to stay alive those thirty-one years have apparently made Souther sterile. Nothing is for certain, however things do not look good...

((So... how does he look? :) ))

Garbhan

Souther is an awesome character. I hope to hear more on him.

Danyxandra
06-11-2006, 10:12 AM
A lot of people already know these quirks and nuances of my character, this is for those newer to TNG.

Danlily's tusks are too tiny to be a respectable troll, she doesn't speak with a troll accent as she was not raised among them, and her eyes glow at times unnaturally for a full blooded troll...because she isn't. She's half blood-elf. Look at her hair. There's a reason why it's bright blond. She came to the horde last year as one of who knows how many scouts sent by the bloodelves to feel out the situation in the horde before their leaders finished the truce contract with the Silvannas. She and others like her were specifically bred to be loyal to the blood elves, but could walk among the horde races. It is unknown but quite possible that the same kind of breeding to create scouts was done to also infiltrate the alliance as well. (And I left it this way, an unknown, so that anyone who wanted to use this device for their own stories could feel free to go for it on either side, Danlily's situation is not exclusive.)

Unfortunately, Danlily lost the love of her life several years before coming to the horde. He mistress and lover was a full blood elf, Mistress Clys. Clys disappeared for several years. When she was found again, she was a cindered undead (had died in a fire and rose back up, not forsaken from the plague, but walking undead) with no memory of her former life. For many months after Clys return, Clys had no memory of Danlily or their night-elf lover, Kittsu, who acted the hunting cat for Danlily when surrounded by horde. Yes, that cheetah that hunts by Danlily's side is a cheetah when among the horde, but when she's in alliance territory she is a night elf druid. (We have another account with a Kittsu character over there who does a lot of inter-faction interpretating for us)

The pain of loosing Clys drove Danlily mad. They are together now, of course, but Danlily pretty much lost her grip on reality. She de-skinned her mother alive and thinks her mother's spirit inhabits her hunting bow. She calls the bow "Mother". She talks to it. She serves it tea. She put a scalp of Lovely on the top end of it so mother would have hair.

Danlily is also a fully trained surgeon, but doesn't use her skills to help and heal. She uses them to do experiments on unsedated victims, grafting undead bone into them, grafting forsaken skin, experiementing with cross-growth between undead and the living in the hopes of finding a way to restore the flesh of the undead, or perhaps find a key to the undead's immortality and incorporate it into living specimens. When she does these operations, the unsedated victim's screams are like singing to her as she always hears music in her head when she's in the depth of her madness, and she she usually starts singing along to their screams. The music in her head is like the tinkling of a music box.

Meh, and Lowannis made you an officer?!

Ok, in all seriousness:

Pylith is the stoic Thunderfist, albeit brash at times. Where Borgas, his brother, does everything by the book as head of Ironhull Company, Pylith does what his gut tells him. This makes Pylith far more capable in battles against horde, where things change at the drop of a hat. It's also why he tends to lead most of the Regiment attacks.

While he may not have the organization skills or memory like some of the other officers, his leadership is second-to-none. He says what needs to be said. Loudly. Whether it be good or bad, and without hesitation. This makes him come off as insensitive, but that's not really the case, he just doesn't think about what he's saying long enough to change it before it spurts from his mouth. Usually this makes him feel somewhat guilty afterwards, as it did with a former Captain, Ruma. However, these outbursts are not taken lightly, as usually his advice is sound and just.

He's young for a dwarf, being the 2nd born of his generation, Thunderfist. His father served under King Magni, and his mother hails from Aerie Peak. Both he and Borgas served in the Dwarven Army in the Second War. Borgas leading the Airborne gryphon riders, and Pylith part of a scouting unit. Both fought in the Battle of Grim Batol, where Pylith's scouting and foresight helped save his brother from a most grizzly demise.

He doesn't like to drink much, garnering a few odd glances from his brethren during a party and the General, Garbhan, as well.. since it's well known that the Regiment Commander and former Grimsilver Commander is borderline alcoholic.

He's also not too aggressive, never openly attacking any horde he might see in his travels around Azeroth. (LOLZ CAREBEAR!!!!!!!1!1!111) He will, however, fiercely defend himself if provoked.

...That's about it.

turen
06-11-2006, 01:45 PM
Turens face is deeply scarred from battle past, despite his young age for a dwarf. He has brilliant green eyes that almost seems to shine when his temper is up. His main flaw is his rage. When he is mad ad something, he kills it or will try untill he himself dies. He is also constantly doing everything he can to aid the Regiment, because he stills feel guilty about killing an elf in a drunken rage and being exiled for it years ago. He rarely speaks of this and so drinks on few occasions. However, on those occasions he drinks in a lot. He also has a very uncompassionate view on love, another thing that changed about him due to his exile. Turen is plagued by his memories of vicious deeds he has comitted, though he would never admit it. The only time he socializes with the Horde is when he is drunk.

Tindary
06-12-2006, 12:04 AM
Tindary would rather not dwell on past wars and history, but rather lives day to day. She lets her moods determine where she'll spend her time, whether it's filling various contracts around the lands, defending Southshore from Horde, or just sitting around Ironforge, sewing leather garments for others.

She tends to forget her priestly duties when her enthusiasm (or is it bloodlust?) gets the better of her and she charges headlong into battle alongside her fellow Regimenters.

She has recently embraced the freedom of not wearing robes after tripping one too many times.

Redburn
06-12-2006, 09:26 AM
Redburn only has 1 goal for his unlife. The awakening of The Crimson Lord, an event that The Crimson Watch has strived for for ages. That is the reason for his existence. He knows that it may take centruries for this to come to pass, that is why he excepted Morghoul's offering of the Plague infested grain. Only as a member of the Forsaken would it be possible for Redburn to survive the number of years it may take to bring about The Crimson Lord's ressurection.

Fallacy
06-12-2006, 02:22 PM
Fallacy is hotheaded when someone purposely tries to piss him off, and merciless in battle. Otherwise, he is rather quiet and untempermental. He enjoys spending time among others, even though he can feel isolated. Many don't like his attitude towards fighting and his activities as a Watcher, but he still tries to enjoy himself, whether at a Shindig or just in a tavern. He likes to kid with people, making wise-cracks when they make mistakes or say something that seems out of place. When he's confused or finds himself strangely interested in something, he'll tilt his head to one side or the other.

Get him angry, though, and he's almost a completely different person. His voice, which is sort of raspy, becomes very commanding. The fire in his skull begins to glow stronger, and the heat it emanates becomes able to be felt (usually, it's harmless). He taunts his enemies, noting their flaws, all the time tormenting them with the reasons why he seeks their death, mostly to inspire fear within them. He prefers to fight alone, as he cannot control the actions of others, and he likes to have control over battles. Usually, he'll never join in the attack of some city, unless it is in retaliation or he has some ulterior motive. He wll always help to defend a town or outpost, and utterly hates the deaths of civilians. He will also hunt down anyone that's causing trouble out in the wilderness, to ensure the safety of those being killed unprovoked.

Most of all, Fallacy is often tormented by his past. He can't remember too much of it (he didn't even remember anything at all until he returned to Azeroth from Northrend), and the fact that he often has to kill his former comrades from Strom and the other areas of Lordaeron (the continent, not the nation). The memory of his wife (and her murder of him) is the most disheartening, as he still cannot decide whether he absolutely detests her for what she did, or if he still loves her. He keeps his past to himself, believing that someone might take advantage of his surviving family (his mother and his brother) to gain control over him.

Daala
06-12-2006, 05:05 PM
Daala is naturally bisexual, but refuses any form of intimate contact with a man due to trauma. She's fascinated by interesting persons, and will expend great amounts of energy and time to pursue them. The initial reason she joined the Grim was the concentration of interesting people she'd encountered, Snowfeather in particular. Despite her somewhat radical polygamy, she has an emotional attachment to all of her lovers, and would actively defend their interests. At times, she holds an affinity for particularly abused children, but it's a bit of a coin toss. She's very fond of the color purple, and enjoys pets of all varieties.

She's very convoluted in her feelings towards Elves of all kinds. Even though she was a Low Elf, her bretheren were often barbaric and many of the harshest aspects of her childhood resulted from their attentions. The physical appearance of Kal'dorei evoke all of her memories of those days, and she occaisionally sees faces of Low Elves in Night Elves. High Elves represent both a family she craved acceptance from, and a race of tyrants who didn't care a whit for her.

clys
06-12-2006, 05:28 PM
Clys is eyeless, but has an odd form of vision which allows her to see shadows only.
She has modified her appearance some, having her ears lengthened and made pointy (she was a blood elf before she became undead, and wanted her ears to be more 'normal').

She also had bat fangs put in her mouth to replace her canine teeth, so when she smiles you can see these small fangs.

She carries an elf-ear purse which contains her pet maggots, which she raises and names, and then eventually eats or gives away.

She's a lesbian, very dominating, and although she'll flirt with men she's not interested really (and considering her looks and dominant nature, she rarely gets any male attention anyway!)

Other than that, she's the girl next door ;)

Kurohane
06-12-2006, 05:46 PM
The funny thing with Kuro is that I have *never* stated if she is pretty, ugly, or somewhere in between. Shortly after I had first gotten FlagRSP, I was traveling through the barrens around 5am and in my delirium, decided that her skin-tone looked like porcelin. It stuck for me, and I added that frail trait to her description. From that, and her "ever present polite smile", people seem to naturaly assume she is beautiful. I personally think she is about "average" looking.

As for personality traits and what-not, unless she is seething mad (see: Hifazat; Clys; Lovely), she can't pass over someone in need of aid - be it physical aid from an attack or emotional/mental aid. She is a caregiver by nature. Once you cross her, however, all bets are off. She may forgive you eventually, but until she does, any plight you may come under will simply be ignored or, if you've really pissed her off, bring a smirk to her face before she turns her back on you. (*waves at Lovely*)

Until recently, she was rather a prude. Her new relationship with Xelthan has opened her eyes in more than one way. She also has taken to drinking regularly with her friends and guildmates - something she rarely did before.

Laron
06-12-2006, 05:49 PM
Laron is a medium build 6'3". He has a brand of a "T" on his right pectoral. This was given to him from the Stormwind Stockades, to denounce him as a Thief. He also has a large scar of a bite mark on his left side of his neck. It looks big enough to have been given to him by a Tauren.

He has 2 siblings, both younger his brother <Azrid>is a hunter as his father was, and his even younger sister <Amadare>is a druid as his mother was.

Laron left to make his way in Stormwind when he was very young.

Karthog
06-14-2006, 12:38 PM
Karthog LOVES fruit, and doesn't eat much meat. He LOVES bananas, but tries to keep it a secret..>.>...<.<....

He has many many scars, horrible burn marks, screw holes, gashes, and much more all over his body, obviously the results of torture. Over his right eye he has a particulary large vertical scar. His tusks are mangled and broken, and are also scorched. He wears very covering clothes, and a red defias mask, so often you cannot see all of his scars. His gloves are usually burnt, you assume they got that way for being a horrible engineer.

He hates extreme cold, especially SNOW..((Damn snowballs..)) He has a very strange un-orcish accent, from 'living' with humans for 3 years, and from his old tribe.

He isn't exactly SHORT, but he isn't very tall either.

He is very threatening and mocking, and you can often get the feeling he's egging you on if your around him.

When he's drunk, ((:D)) he usually is much more mellow if your nice to him, but if your 'mean' he'll freak out and take everything personally. Basicly regular, but extremed emotions.

Darkblade
06-14-2006, 01:13 PM
Darkblade does not discuss her past. So much so as she has not used her "given" human name since her awakening as a Forsaken. As a human, she grew up on the streets of Stratholme, and she used all of her "gifts" to get what she wanted. This included seduction and plain old murder.
As a Forsaken, she doesn't rely on the seduction as much, but it will still show from time to time (though, I doubt it is all that effectual, being in the state she is). She has always found the act of killing somewhat erotic, and that is still with her.

Arthas took everything from her when he razed Stratholme. He killed her, only after killing the one she loved (though she'd sooner kill you than admit to having that weak emotion).

Now, she is very quiet, rarely talking, and always serious. Her only objective in her unlife is to see Arthas pay, and anything that does not lead to that is a waste of time and effort. She still has not accepted her fate.

Being in the state of decay, she longs for her past beauty, and will often consume the flesh of attractive females, misguidedly believing it will help her regain that lost beauty.
Night elves, beware. ;)

Thartis
06-22-2006, 07:56 AM
Thartis is just that almost old he will be old in afew years but not that old yet. And he knows that the clock is ticking. His skin has a worn look not like leather but some one who has been outside most of his life. His real quirk to him is mosly he does nothing but sit in corner and space his life thinking. He flips back and forth of being evil or good. Most decides on his last smoke and how long it is going to take. Every so often he snaps and will ride off to lay siege to towns by himself hoping to die.

Rarshmor
06-22-2006, 09:19 PM
Oh... boy...

Rarshy, Rarshy... What was I thinking when I made him?

/shakes head

Rarsh prefers not to kill people, but when he has to, he has to. He's got a drinking problem... A BIG one. He's an ice troll, with blue skin and all, but his nose is huge and red and his cheeks are a huge blushy red, all because of his drinking. He's short- for a troll... And he has a straight back. He stinks horridly, as he lives in Ashenvale all the time and rarely has a chance to bathe ((Unless he sneaks into a moonwell... /snicker))

And that's not all.

If I could manipulate the game mechanics, I'd make so that he couldn't regenerate- He's not supposed to be able to. He has mood swings, doesn't give a flip for obeying laws, does things just for fun, and is, literally, mentally unstable. Although he tries to be good, he has a... thing... that makes him stand out.

He has a complete lack of honor. If he has to kick ya in the nuts, he's bound to do it. In fact, he may do it for fun if you're being a jerk...

And, to top it off, the girl he found prettiest in all his life was a red headed tom girl of a gnome. Of course, he didn't love her, but he thought she looked pretty dang good...

Oh. He looks like he's only thirty or so, but don't be suprised if he calls a seventy year old troll a whippersnapper.

And, the final thing about him... He has a fetish for women who boss people around.

So, in several sentences, there is the basic description of a crazed ice troll who thinks that he can conquer the world- Or, rather, he thinks that when his head is stuck in the keg, which is just about always.

Maegannon
06-23-2006, 08:57 AM
So as I stated in an earlier post...

Mae has fetishes!

She will chew through any leather boots she finds (in catform or cheetah form, either will do). and when she's in the right state of mind, she's kittinish.. playful and giggly and full of a bit too much energy.

She thinks Dwarves are the best looking males out there, and isnt attrated to night elf males at all (Though she knows plenty of'm ;p) She would lie down and Die for King Mangi if he asked her to.. but should the Arch druid or Tyrande ask? She'd probably laugh at them.

She looks .. like a night elf. She isnt "breathtaking" or anything spectacular.. She is night elf pretty, and has night elf skin and ears and eyes. Yay for Night elves! The only thing she thinks (and is written to) stands out about her from the others is her hair. She likes it, its long and soft and thick.

What she does have, is stag-horns. They're a side effect of reaching her 60th season as a druid, for the things she sacrificed of herself for her kind and her alliance, weither she believed it was worthwhile or not. Most of the things she's done for the Alliance, and the Arch Druid, she would never do on her own acorde... but she did them anyway, because its what Elune would want her to do. In any case, if you run into her, she'll probably be scratching them horns.. they itch something firce!

She prefers catform, though I don't have her spec'd feral out of princaple, she's a healer at heart, so she's full restoration.

She's almost -too- young, and was the youngest druid in a hundred years to pass her trials. She's only about 300 years old, give or take a year or two, and if she hadn't been disowned by her family, she'd probably still be living with them, instead of out adventuring in the world.

And that's Mae-mae's quirks in a nutshell.

Lumle
07-11-2006, 04:49 PM
Lumle gets annoying, when he drinks he tends to take off his pants and run amuck throgh Stormwind.

Vars
07-11-2006, 05:25 PM
Vars, for a member of the alliance, distrusts the other alliance races. He is steadfastly committed to his dwarvin kin but feels they are often overly quick to partner with other races.

Humans who, due to their short lifespans, lack the overall experience and willingness to sacrifice for the greater and common good. They seek riches and glory for themselves and are quick to run when a battle's tide turns against the alliance.

As for Gnomes, Vars pretty much ignores them. They are screwy, almost mental, as far as Vars can tell. They excel in what they do but how they do this is a mystery to him. Most Gnomes Vars has encountered barely complete a sentence before changing topics. It could be they are extremely intelligent and are thinking several steps ahead of their underground friends the dwarves.

Elves Vars sees as smarmy. They seem fast to avoid battle through diplomacy and Vars sees this as weakness. Evil should be taken out and not bantered with or appeased in the hopes that somehow it will see the error in its ways.

Naturally Vars has deeper reasons for his beliefs but he doesn't share them. An ex-Captain commanded him to keep his comments to himself and not start a fight. "The Alliance," the ex-Captain said, "has enough problems that it doesn't need an angry dwarf starting a civil war."

Lupen
07-11-2006, 07:05 PM
Why does everything I do seem to be right after Pincus? And nearly the same postcount. I'm tellin ya, madness.

Lupen tends to insult those he considers "friends" under his breath (at it sometimes makes it on the way into the Guild Hearthstone channel).

Also completely unstable mentally, goes through dramatic mood changes at any given time in a split second.

Numerous runes are cut into his body (primarily arms and breast).

Cedes
07-12-2006, 07:57 AM
Cedes has a little case of Post Dramatic Stress Syndrom. All thanks to the 3rd war when he was stationed with humans at the Alterac keep. Where the undead starting showing up. Yeah, pretty much watching his fellow soldiers turn into zombies and eat each other kinda made him....uneasy at times.

Tarkor
07-12-2006, 09:01 PM
Tarkor has a tendency to be arrogant, and racist.

Arrogant because he refuses to join any other guild (though had pondered the idea of forming his own...), and perfers to solo over grouping. When in groups, will usually continue to pull until someone says stop... and even then it may be too late! Also, he even sees other Horde members as weak compared to himself. Orcs are weak because they could not harness their bloodlust, and so surrendered and abandoned it, Trolls are weak because they cannot match his strength, and Undead are the worst of the Horde... Undead (as Tarkor sees) are beings that are already sacraficed, and are toying with their own existance to compensate for their own deaths. They died, they failed, they should be purged...

Racist because... well... he hates gnomes. Out of all of the alliance races, he sees gnomes as the worst. Humans are just pawns trying to delay their ultimate defeat, Dwarves are drunken fools who amble around carrying axes and pretend to be strong, and Night Elves are fraile creatures that are easily slain in combat (and so turn to magics to compensate for this), but Gnomes.... Gnomes are the worst... their endless annoying and fiddling are enough to drive anyone mad... their size deems them usefull for nothing more than stepping on, and when one actually tries to challenge Tarkor... that sets him off like nothing else...

So yeah, thats a piece of Tarkor's personality in a nutshell. Sorry if anyone was offended, but too bad! It's my RP and I'm sticking to it, lol.

Phia
07-21-2006, 09:40 AM
Phia's also a Forsaken pirate -- a former Bloodsail Buccaneer. She was cast adrift during her last serious voyage, and has been spending her time plotting a means to acquire a boat and a crew. This usually results in the hijacking of Alliance ferries, though it's usually only a short time until she's cast into the water like a bucket of chum.

She's a drunk whose addiction to fadeleaf cigarettes has left her teeth an unappealing ochre-color. A long scar runs down her right cheek and a stripe of skunk-white parts her black hair.

Phia drops letters from every word she speaks and litters her conversation with nautical slang. She's got a great sense of humor and frequently tells jokes, though since her rebirth as a Forsaken, they tend to be rather macabre. To her, slaughtering gnomes is perhaps the greatest joke of them all.

Zuli is an obsessive cannibal, loves hurting and, strangely, being hurt!

He often disagrees with others over fighting styles, and can be quite obnoxious at times. He despises the Alliance with all his heart, he shows no mercy ever! He also has slight memory loss (like me!), but only with little things.

Did I mention he loves making elves into stew?

Oh yeah, and he loves making elves into stew!

Perhaps I should write down the bit about the elf stew...

I hope I mentioned the elf stew...
