Gears whirred in Chillen’s body, soft sounds only she could hear. Her eyes slowly opened and focused on the light above her. Her body was strapped with leather straps to the medical table in a Stormwind Hospital.

“Chillen Whisperwind. Equivalent of sixteen years of age. Abducted some time ago, for some unknown reason. And this is what we have found: A murderer.”

The voice echoed around the room and Chillen struggled to sit up, but she found it impossible. She sighed to herself.

::A Stormwind Hospital.::

Chillen smirked to herself, relaxing against the table as the voice spoke.

“You are charged with countless murders and with a slaughter of a small town. How do you plea?”

Chillen said nothing, simply closing her eyes. She began to hum softly to herself.

::What song is that?::

Chillen shrugged to herself.

::It seems familiar.::

“Guilty? We’ll go with that. Honestly, Chillen, we have no clue what went on with Thamus and you. But, obviously, you’re a killer. We don’t know what to do. We can either kill you, apologize to the families you have ruined or use you.”

“I am a weapon,” she said clearly, the cold edge to her voice. “I kill. That is my purpose.”

“A noble purpose indeed, but you’re killing the wrong side.”

“Wrong side,” she snickers to herself. “Is there a right side?”

“Have you learned your current events, child?”

“No.”

“We are at war with the Horde. You should be using your talents in killing them instead of fellow alliance.”

“Alliance? Horde? Those words mean nothing to me.”

The bed moved, bending so she was sitting. Her arms are strapped to her sides, still, and to the bed. The human before her was dressed nicely in a crisp mageweave suit. His greying hair was slicked back with some kind-of adhesive gel. Chillen glared at him and he took at step back, adjusting his tie and swallowing.

“Well, how about I make a good proposition? Do as I order you to and I will give you this back,” said the man as he held up the box of pills.

Chillen’s eyes widened, then she scowled.

::Take it!::

Chillen snorted, “You think I’m so easily bribed.”

“Are you,” the man said, looking rather amused.

::Take it!!!::

“For your sake, yes.”

::Yes!::

The man looked relieved, relaxing some. Chillen, then, pulled harshly against the leather straps, ripping them from the bed. She swung her legs down, her bare feet touching the cold stone floor. The man gazed at her in a new state of shock and panic. Chillen smirked to herself, standing and then walking over to him. She knelt and folded her hands on her knee.

“What will you have me do?”

A 'Legal' Kill

Chillen stood in Elwynn Forest, a cloak pulled about her body and a hood covering her head. The rain was heavy, causing the cloak to stick to every conformation of her body. She walked slowly, two daggers stuck to her hips and glimmering with sharpness. Her eyes glowed from the darkness the hood provided and she paused, her eyes zooming in on her prey. Her voice was a whisper, soft and only heard to herself.

“Name?”

::Scanning. No name found.::

“Is that whom I am looking for?”

::Scanning once more.::

Chillen nodded to herself, silently slipping the daggers into her hands and concealing them in her cloak. She faded into the shadows and started creeping towards the human male. She was assigned to kill him at any cost. She smirked to herself, humans were vengeful creatures.

::He is. Kill. Destroy.::

Chillen nodded once more, slipping closer to her prey and deftly stabbing her dagger down into his back. The blade slit the spinal cord. Her other dagger found it’s way into the stomach of the man. From his back, she pulled her dagger free and deftly slit his throat. The man fell to the ground, blood throbbing from his body as his heart still pounded in his chest.

She knelt next to the dying, paralyzed man, and began to rummage through his pockets for proof of his death. Finding nothing, she rocked back onto her heels, squatting next to his body.

“Hm... What should I take from you?”

The man looked at her, his mouth gaping as he was breathing hard trying to stay alive as his life force slowly oozed from the three holes in his body. She gently fingered his cloak, then his hand, gazing at his face for a moment.

“I’ll take your head.”

::Good idea. That’s what he asked for, anyway.::

“Was it?”

::Yes, it was.::

“Well, then. Sir, be very afraid, now.”

Chillen’s eyes glowed with sadistic happiness as she took her dagger and slowly started to cut through his neck. He cried out in pain before she sliced his vocal chords, his face now contorted in terror and pain before his life ended with her dagger severing his brainstem. When he finished twitching, with a deft motion, Chillen finished removing his head from his body and pulled it free from the remaining vessels and tendons that held it to the mass of flesh. Blood dripped from the head and gushed from the open neck.

“One head, done and done.”

::Excellent.::

Chillen smirked to herself and, carrying the head by the hair, wandered her way up to Stormwind with a little trail of blood following behind her.

Emotions

Chillen sat in the hospital, on the bed that she was strapped to only a few days prior. The doctor examined her, gazing into her eyes and down her throat. He listened for her heart but looked slightly amused when he found only a very quiet heartbeat. He examined her breasts and abdomen, making sure that everything was alright. Chillen was lying, now, detesting the whole process.

::I don’t find why this is necessary.::

Me neither.

::You’ve learnt to think.::

Yes. I more so like this than speaking my reply. It seems more… normal.

::What is normal, anyway?::

Chillen smiled to herself, and the doctor gave her a once over before saying, “All’s good. I give my physical check an OK. May want to go make sure all your… whatever is alright.”

She nodded, sitting and then slipping herself off the table. Maintenance was not her favorite thing. She lifted a white robe and slipped it on, tying it about the waist just to cover her body before walking out into the hallway. She walked down the hallway before opening a door and slipping into the room. She sat on the low bed before lying down and waiting for the gnomish mechanic.

The gnome woman walked in and let out a low whistle, “Soyou’reherhuh?”

Chillen raised an eyebrow then nodded, “Sure. Whatever.”

“Thewomanthatsmostlymechanicsandstuff. Wonderful, letsgetstartedshallwe?”

Chillen made a face then smirked, nodding, “Sure. Whatever.”

The gnome opened her robe and lifted some device, pressing it to her chest. It was cold. The little woman listened to the whirring gears, lowering goggles off the top of her head from her pink hair to over her eyes before she presses them to Chillen’s chest.

::Ridiculous.::

Agreed.

::This maintenance stuff seems unnecessary. We would know if we needed a check-up.::

They just want to make sure their weapon is functioning properly. Its just like re-stringing a bow, or cleaning a gun, or even tightening the bolts on a crossbow. A precaution.

::Right.::

The gnome stepped away and clapped, “Everythingseemsintip-topshape, dearie. Youcangonow!”

“Thanks,” said Chillen, tying her robe closed once more and getting off of the short bed and walking out into the hallway. A man was walking down the hallway and caught her eye.

Chillen’s heart skipped a beat and she sharply drew in a breath. Her head turned as he walked away, her eyes zooming in on him.

“Wh-who is that…?”

::Scanning. No data found.::

“Thatsayoungdoctorthatjustgothiredhere, yup,” said the gnome who had just walked up behind Chillen. “Lovelylooking, yes?”

Chillen nodded, still stunned.

“Alltheyoungnursesareswooningoverhim. It’skind-offunnytowatchthemwhenhewalksby.” The gnome chuckled to herself before wandering down the hallway after him. “Takecare, Chillen!”

Chillen nodded once more, dumbfounded.

::I think that’s the most emotion I’ve seen from you. Are you alright?::

“Yeah, I think I’m fine. Its not like anyone would want to be with something like me, right?”

Chillen nodded to herself, the voice in her head silent as she walked down to retrieve her armour.

~~~~~
Once Chillen was dressed, she walked out into Stormwind with her cloak drawn tight around her. She needed to kill, she felt a little unnerved by the attractive doctor. She found her way out of the city, walking down the path to Goldshire. She took the left fork, heading towards Eastvale Logging camp. Half way down the road, she heard a cry. Chillen faded into invisibility, and eyed about her. There was another cry, louder this time before sudden silence. Chillen found the direction of which the cry came from and began to creep that way.
She came upon a clearing in Elwynn Forest, hiding behind a tree she saw a young human girl and three Defias men. Two were holding her down, upon further examination Chillen decided she was unconscious. The third man was cutting away the girl’s clothing.
What is this?
::I’m positive they’re going to rape the child.::
Rape is…?
::Forced sexual intercourse. Often accompanied by death nor near fatal incidents.::
Chillen blinked, considering before creeping in behind the man. She lifted her weapon and smashed him over the head with it. He fell to the ground, sapped. The two Defias that were holding down the child, released the half naked child and drew their weapons.
“You fools. You should be afraid.”
“Why,” said one, “You’re someone I can use this freshly sharpened blade on.”
“Do you know who I am,” asked Chillen, pushing back her hood. Both of them stared for a moment, and a streak of panic spread across the second.
“Y-you’re her, the killer, aren’t you,” he asked, panic threading into his voice.
Chillen nodded slightly, smirking before walking over to him. He stumbled backwards, his counterpart looking rather confused before attacking her.
“We can get her, we’re two! She is one,” said the defias attacking her.
Chillen deftly evaded his attack, “Mistake.”
She thrust her dagger up into his stomach before ripping it out and spinning behind him, her dagger sinking between his ribs into his back. She span around him once more, dancing a dance of death. Her dagger found his throat and she lodged it in there, kicking him to the ground. He fell with a thud, blood oozing from his body. The second looked at her, panicking before turning tail and running.
The sapped Defias slowly came to, quickly climbing to his feet and drawing his sword. He attacked her from behind, but she swiftly span to avoid his attack. Their eyes met, and a cruel smile played over Chillen’s lips. The man stopped and took a step back.
“Its too late,” she said before lunging at him, her fist finding home in his stomach. His face shifted from panic to a gaping fish. He bent down, falling to his knees. He lifted his head to look to Chillen again. She took her dagger and thrust it through his neck, ripping it out to her right. For a moment, he knelt still before his head fell to her left while still attached by some flesh. His body fell forward and Chillen took a step back, sheathing her dagger and freeing the other from the throat of the first attacker.
She wiped the blood off of the dagger before sheathing it. She walked over to the child, kneeling down next to her. She analyzed the child.
::No more than thirteen years old.::
Pathetic excuses for existence attacking a youngling as such.
Chillen removed her cloak and wrapped it around the girl, lifting the young woman in her arms and walking back up to the path. Chillen walked the path back to Goldshire where a guard looked at her inquisitively.
“Halt, traveler. Who is this you carry,” he asked, holding his hand up to stop her.
Chillen kept walking, paying no attention to the guard. He stumbled after her, but she kept walking. He followed her half way to Stormwind, still talking to her to try to get her to stop. When she got to the gates, the child woke and looked up to the Night Elf woman carrying her. The child squirmed slightly in Chillen’s arms.
“Calm, child. You’re safe. I will find your home.”
The child nodded, resting her head on Chillen’s shoulder.
::How cute. You’ve found kindness.::
Silence.
::You haven’t taken your medicine, yet.::
So?
::You may not be able to control me without it.::
How helpful of you, I will take care of it later.
::Will you?::
Chillen ignored her inner voice, walking into Stormwind. She wandered to Old Town and a woman ran up to her, crying.
“Light bless you, lady,” sobbed the human woman, “You have found my Child!”
Chillen nodded, and gently set the girl down on her feet, whispering into her ear, “Hold the cloak fast, your dress was ripped by the Defias. Need not worry, child. I gave them their reward.”
The child held the cloak close to her body and ran over to her mother, hugging her about her waist. The woman sobbed onto the child. The child looked over to Chillen knowingly before she buried her face into her mother’s stomach. Chillen smiled, and turned away, walking back into the Trade District.
::You made a mistake.::
I let one live.
::Is a child so important?::
Yes.
::I don’t see how.::
Do you even see?
::Touché.::
Chillen smirked to herself, walking into the inn and up to her room. She opened the door and stepped in before slamming it shut.
