Kinath set out for the Tram. The Dwarves had not been so kind to him during his stay in Ironforge, but of course the incident with the barkeepers daughter was part of that. Twice he had been picked on because of his race, and he didn't appreciate it that much, but as Kinath is, he just shrugged it off with a "Why should I care, their just silly drunken short people". He continued his way torwards the tram from the Commons area. "Damnit, I forgot about Thlorn" Thlorn was one of the Dwarves that had been kind to Kinath during his mess ups and such. Thlorn had many friends and connections within the Dwaven city. His roots of expertise even went so deep as the Dark Iron Dwarves.

The Elf walked into the military ward to find Thlorn in his usual place, discussing things with his unknown Gnomish friend. Kinath suspected this to be a source of one of his famed "connections". At one sight Thlorn turned to his Gnomish accomplice "Very good ol' friend, we be meeting again, same time, same place, I jus' got some other buisness present." The Gnome nodded, and was on her way to the flightmaster. Thlorn looked upon his friend and smiled saying "Did ye sleep well? I hope you didn't create any trouble like the last time eh?". The Dwarf let out a small chuckle. Kinath smirked saying " No no, I actually slept quite soundly. Last time I went to sleep it was for a....very long time". Tlorn patted him on his shoulder with a gruff "Aye" and began to walk down back to the commons. "Where are you going?" questioned Kinath. "Thought we were going to leave first thing." The Dwarf smirked again and replied "Got some things that need picking up in the bank lad. Come if you want, I wont be long." Kinath shrugged and followed in anticipation. He couldn't wait to leave Ironforge.

By the time Kinath got to the bank, Thlorn had allready had his belts, pockets, shirt pockets, and hands filled with or grasping unto many guns, explosives, and... kegs? Kinath laughed loudly. "Kegs?". "Wha? There for the trip, alchohal is expensive in Stormwind these days lad. It's jus' a little...ugh... insurance." Kinath continued to laugh saying "Comeon, I don't want to miss the next tram.

There they sat in the Tram area, waiting for the next one. Kinath flipped a gold coin in anticipation, where as Thlorn was looking anxiously at his small keg that he had brought. "Whish they could make these things go faster." spoke Kinath. "Hey, I helped engineer these trams a while ago. If they went any faster they would break on the first few goes lad. Don't worry, we'll get out of here eventually". Kinath looked at Thlorn with a frown on his face, then shrugged. "Hmm, your probobly right". he put bluntly.

The small screen seemed to light up a little as the next tram car finally made its approach. "At last..." spoke Kinath. They began to stand up to load themselves on the tram, until Kinath saw something. He put his hand on Thlorns' chest to keep him from going forward. "What was that..." he said. Thlorn looked at Kinath as if he had lost his mind. "Wha?" he replied. "I saw something move like... like it was transparent. I couldn't see it, but I saw it move...". Thlorn looked at him with disbelief and said "Kinath. There-are-no-ghosts-in-Ironforge" he said, intently spacing out every word. "Now comeon. lets get on before it takes off". Kinath, still worried, looked around in anticipation. He half expected some rogue to pop out of nowhere.

On the ride to Stormwind, Kinath continued to watch the other tram cars as if he knew someone was in the other tram cars. He peered behind them as the tram began going faster... and faster... each light passing overhead, but nothing. He could only catch a glimpse of anything if it was actually back there. The lights only passed so often. Again the lights passed. Again, nothing... again, nothing... again....

Kinath drew his sword from its sheath. Thlorn heard the blade unsheath and looked at Kinath suprised." lad, What the hell are yo-". His speech was cut short as Kinath pointed to the shadow figure in the back car of the tram. All that could be seen were the flashes of light now and then on the figures skulking figure and the horrible glowing eyes it possessed. "Xixath nax Ninatxo!". Kinath looked around at the sudden noise to see a small creature beside the unknown assailant. Undoubtedly an imp, it launched a small firebolt at Kinath. Kinath took the blow. Kinath then unsheathed his other blade. "kinat- no don't!" barked Thlorn. It was to late, Kinath took a great leap from one tram to the next. He quickly dodged another firebolt from the imp. The dark figure snickered to itself. Kinath lept unto the back car, and looked up. The figure was gone... but the imp was still present. The imp lunged at Kinath and connected with his leg, bitting and gnawing on his leather armor. Kinath, taking almost no dammage by this point just looked at the small creature. The imp slowly stopped bitting and looked up to Kinath. He gave a small whimper and Kinath punted him off the tram. The small screams of an imp in pain could be head as the rogue ground tunnel met the imps frame.

Kinath could feel the Tram start to slow a bit, sounding the arrival of the end. Kinath looked back to Thlorn, who was just sitting there with a mug in his hand. Kinath let his shoulders down in disappointment and looked upon Thlorn. Thlorn continued to drink only saying "What? Ye looked like ye had it handled?"

Kinath was glad to be inside Stormwind. The Humans seemed to be nicer, or at least tolerated him. "This was Kin. I have some cousins in the Dwarven District that can help us get you on your way". Kinath nodded and followed him. "Wait, what about that creature back there? What was that?". Thlorn seemed to not care about the incident as if it never happened, but turned around to say something. "Look, what do yer instincts tell ya eh? Glowin' eyes, imp for a pet?". Kinath, seeing it now, understood and gave a nod. "But what would one of those want here. One of them can't do anything" . Thlorn stopped dead in his tracks. "Lad, change of plans." "What?" said Kinath.

"Don't look at me like I'm crazy, I know wha' I saw down there." barked Thlorn. "Listen, the probability of an Undead being in Stormwind is perposterous! Even if you DID happen to see a warlock, they would need additional people to summon their reinforcments". The SI:7 rogue was not so understanding of Thlorn as he hoped. Attacks on cities had been done before, but for some reason the Human refused to send in a warning our notice. "I am sorry, but I am not going to waste a single copper on some hunch of an Undead inside our city. Now if you would please..." he motioned his hand torwards the door. "FINE," barked Thlorn " I'll hunt the bastard down myself!". With that Kinath anbd Thlorn left. The Human continued to shuffle through papers as a shadow appeared behind him. A clawed hand connected to his shoulder. "Very good my puppet". The figure left SI:7 but not before vanishing from sight. The Human snapped back to reality. "What... what the hell was that?" sweat poored down his forhead. He looked around the room in anticipation. He gasped saying "My, that was strange. Who was that talking to me?"

Thlorn continued around the steps to the tram. "If he left he had to have let tracks. Most undead aren't subtle you know". "Thlorn, he said it was highly unlikely. Now I know you get those feelings, but let's continue and get out of here. If there IS an attack it's best we aren't here when it happens". "AHA!" Thlorn said, ignoring the previous remark. Thlorn pointed to a small twig. "Ok, a twig. Wow Thlorn, I heard you were a good hunter but this i-" "Quiet lad.... Hes near". Kinath slowly went to grab his blades again. "No... be ready but do not let him know that WE know hes here. Wait for the oppertunity. You of all should know that being a rogue."
"Aye, and look. No, not fast like that... just take a small look at the crate next to that door there." Kinath slowley eyed the crate which Thlorn had mentioned. Then he saw it- the shape of a man, transparent, but he could see it well enough. "Now, let's follow this bastard whereever he goes, but we have to stay behind cover, you know, covert like lad. Now that i know where he is i can track him wherever he goes."

it was a pressing chase. Everytime the creature would stop at a bar or tavern and become visible again. Thlorn and Kinath could not follow to prevent knowledge of the chase. The creature would sit low for a minute or two, then fly out of it's hiding place. The chase eventually led them to an empty tavern in the park district. "Well, this must be where he was going. Only one way in our out unless ye use a portal. Lets' go in fast and swift like, if hes doing what I think hes doing, this wont take long.He wont see it a comin" Kinath readied his blades, and the couple burst into the bar.

One fel swoop and he was gone. Thlorns' head exploded. His brain matter was visible everywhere, all over Kinaths' armor. Everything from his top jaw had been strewn accross the bar. "Idiots should have brought guards with them". "I handled that". Kinath looked down in terror at what had happened to his friend. he could not believe it. The one Dwarf that showed him kindness was dead. Just like that. Kinath looked up with a shocked horror on his face to view Thlorns' killers. He saw them clear and visible, two Forsaken. One obviously a warlock and the other was a priest he assumed by the shadow covering his form. An armored, clawed hand gripped the Elfs' neck, holding a large two-edged blade against his throat. "No Sevarith. I want one of our them to witness the start" said the priest. The blade was lowered, but the Undead kept a firm grip upon kinaths' neck. The Forsaken warrior dragged the Elf into the basement, threw him unto a barrel and stuck his two-handed sword through his shoulder, wedging him against the barrel.

The warlock began to chant in a strange tounge Kinath could not understand. A black and purple ring began circling around the Forsaken warlock for a moment, until a strange portal appeared. The other two stuck their hands into the edges of the portal and began chanting. Kinath had heard of these attacks before, he expected a legion of Horde to step through and begin burning Stormwind to the ground. Instead a small woman fell through the portal. She looked almost like a normal girl, Human, but Kinath could not help notice the sickley glowing eyes of the Forsaken. " I'm sorry, I could not remm-" she began, but she was cut short. " YOU, you, have hidden from me since your rise. How could you forget me. How could you forget your purpose?! Oh, then you go to the Grim for saftey and Hide, thats right, HIDE from ME. " barked the priest. "If you did not serve as the third one, I would kill you right here woman". The other one who had the blade, looked up at the priest with awe. "How can you say that. She is y-" "I KNOW WHAT SHE IS." retaliated the priest. The priest visciously gripped her face and shoved his long, clawed hand down into her mouth. She gasped in agony as the hand was indeed clawing her insides, but the priest did not halt. He extracted his hand but now with a small purple orb. "If you continue to hide from your fate I will kill you and find another willing to serve his will. If you try to destroy yourself, I will give you enough souls to power you for the long unending torture that I will provide". He threw the girl back into the portal as it closed.

"Now, onto other buisness, Sevarith?" Said the priest. The one clad in armor handed a vial to the priest. "Good. We will come back and see what this has done". The two walked upstairs, the one in armor stayed down in the basement. Moments later they returned. "It worked. let's get out of here". The warrior released his two-handed blade, but replaced it with two daggers into Kinaths' shoulders. The three left via hearthstone.

The corpse of an Elf was found lying in the basement of the Inn inside Stormwind. The Inn has long been abandoned. Some can still come to the park and look around in the Inn. It lies empty to this day.

((
I know it's not great writing, but it's mainly introducing two events that will *eventually* happen.

Damnit, why can't I write like teelia, :P ))

A young boy ran through the streets of Stormwind. "Give me my dolly!" yelled the girl behind him. "Nu uh! Shes mine! Lets see how easy her head comes off!" The young boy stopped dead as he looked upon the figure. The tall, dark cloaked man looked at the boy with an observing look. "Stop now before I..." the girl started. She looked at the man with a curious look, holding up her hand saying "Hello. Want some candy?" The man shook his head and continued walking torwards his destination- the bank.

The man posted a small letter upon the mail box saying

Attention Humans

Our wrath has allready began to seep it's way into your city. Our revenge will be swift and not you, your elders or your young will be spared. The downfall of your sanctuary has began. Drink and eat and sleep with confidence in your city but it will not hold.

The man lowered his head to a vial and with that he vanished.
