Barke

He stood on the bridge facing the city from Sorrow Hill to Andorhal. He grinned as he smelled the air. Death was all over this land. No matter where he was all he could smell was the rotting flesh. He let out a laugh but it was cut short. There was another smell in the air. Something familiar but he could not place his finger on it. Giving a slight shrug he took a few steps forward to get a better view of the ruined city. His golden eye scanned the city as he watched the undead raom mindlessly about. He had gotten used to having only one eye to see with since his small excursion to the afterlife.
He let out a laugh. To think of all the good that came from that one death. It should not have mattered but it seems many things changed since that day.
He thought back to Llucia. He had been spending some time with her lately. She was everything to him lately. Always kind. He shook his head smiling again. He had been enjoying his time with the druid very much. He turns his attention back to the city. There was a skeleton wandering the road a bit. Barke was standing in plain sight but it did not seem to notice him yet.
He unsheathed his swords slowly. He still had that stupid smile on his face. As he made his way slowly across the bridge he started humming loudly. He had no idea if the undead could hear the humming or not but he wanted them to know he was here. He charged that wandering skeleton cutting it twice. Once taking the torso away from the legs and the other taking the head from the torso.
"Well at least your putting your skills to better use now. Rather than sitting on those blasted stairs..."
All day through Andorhal his laughing and humming could be heard as he continued his fight against a city of undead.
