Are there any books that go into detail on the history of Azeroth? I'm getting really into this just by reading this little thread thing and I want to know more. *smiles, peace sign*
If anyone could give me book titles/authors that'd be way awesome!

Lord of the Clans is a MUST read.
Cycle of Hatreds is a big lore filler, but many say that it's poorly written in comparison to the previous great book.
Lord of the Clans is a follow up to Day of the Dragon, by Richard Knaap. I'm normally not a fan of Knaap, but DoD is a good read. I also have Lord of the Clans to read after (I have yet to hear anyone say anything bad about LoC)!
The World of Warcraft has a lot of books out about WoW. There's also the Well of Eternity series that deals with the first war and the summoning of the Burning Legion.

graphic novels not comics. some would argue they are the same thing, but they aren't, and those people need a smacking.
as for history, check out the in-game books too.

Thanks for being so helpful! Going to the library later and I hope I can find some of those books. *smiles*

If you like the in-game books but hate looking for them, pick up the EPHEMERAL mod. It will allow you to "collect" the books to read at your leisure.

That is why i love WotC. They codified everything so that people know exactly what is going on. Blizzard needs to do that. Put out a PHB or a Lore book.

QFT. Things would be a lot clearer if there were one resource including event timelines.

Or if you are lazy, someone has already done all that work and compiled it here:

Pretty much every in game document is there for your reading pleasure..

Okay, stop with the thread necromancy. Seriously. This topic is over a year old.
