I'm debating putting this in the adult section, because it has disturbing themes.
Those themes being me.
Things at the University have been going great, and I've had this image sitting around for about a week now. Since I had so much fun throwing it together, and I look kinda like the thing in it, I thought I'd just go ahead and share it with you guys (http://diomades.deviantart.com/art/Happy-Matt-Is-Happy-77820517). AKA torture you with it.

This is one of the first "freeform" images I did in my tech college course this year. The task was simple: we had to take some shots with the digital camera of ourselves (with the help of friends), take shots of scenery around the school, and then take shots of a texture of some sort.
We then had to put all these pieces together and create an image.
It was a really fun task. I went into it with no idea of what I was going to do. My buddies ended out coming up with some pretty funny ideas on the fly (we managed to accidentally get a shot of a car driving past the college, and it was all motion blurred. From that spouted the idea of superimposing one of us in front of the car about to get hit by it. Another idea was one of us fighting with ourselves.) But I had this picture of myself sitting on the camera from when we were screwing around and a shot got snapped of me completely by surprise. I decided to run with it.
The background is actually the stairs and front doors of my tech college. The texture is of the gravelly car park.
It was actually quite funny to see the image go through its paces. It started out looking like a shampoo commercial. Then it became a toothpaste commercial. And now, it's a freaky mix of shampoo/toothpaste/skincare commercials.
I look like a hairy representation of the Thing.
The next assignment we have in the class is doing a movie poster with a bunch of different sourced images, and I'm thinking about doing a WoW themed thing with Dio simply because that would be funny. Hilarious, even. But we have a few weeks to do that in (I'll likely finish it a lot sooner though) so expect that later on down the line. Hopefully with a lot less Matt content to wince at.
