I am still new to this server, but I still RP by myself to add to my background story. When I reach the crucial part of my story, I hope to be able to remember certain events.
I have done two deadmine runs after hitting 18 so I could get enough gear to allow me to hold up some sort of fight in WSG. My plan was, through completing the events of the Defias Brotherhood, my character would become an official spy of the Stormwind Army, SI:7 Division. I would be a "Private."
Both runs went pretty bad. The first one disbanded after Gilned, and the second one almost disbanded at the same spot. We were able to recover, though, and we went through. I got the Defias Armor.
I do my job, but I go to the Tavern in Old Town, as I frequently do, to be surprised that other people were in there as well! I sat down under the stairs, my spot, and was preparing to sent a tell to Aendra to see if she wanted to have our "chance" meeting. Instead, I had a new chance meeting.
A Night Elf Rogue, Darkterror, comes walking up to me, and I began to dread. He was a lot higher level than me, but I didn't know what to expect, expecially with a name "Darkterror." Turns out it went great. He sat down next to me, found I was fairly underequipped and then proceeded to run be through Deadmines! As luck would have it, we found all of the Defias Armor (except the hands), Cape of the Brotherhood, Blackwater Cutlass, Thief's Blade, and Lavishly Jeweled Ring.
We come back to Stormwind where he clears his inventory and I turn in a series of quests to set up the Stockades line. Darkterror mentioned that he was going to get me 2 Cruel Barbs, which surprised me to no end, but we end up running through Stockades and going to the last encounter before the Seal of Wrynn.
I'm level 20 from all that, with the Seal of Wrynn. Almost full defias set. Etc.
Wow.
All from asking a bartender for a drink, and letting someone sit down in a chair.
