*The elf strode into the great library in Silvermoon City, hoping that finally he would find what he sought. His contacts had failed him, the few he actually had, but surely this new thought of his would merit results. He strode up to the main desk, his face tired and worn but not belying the intensity and worry he had over his current dilemma. In the one hand he held a stiff piece of parchment which he placed on the desk as he waited for the librarian to acknowledge him. The older man seemed quite busy sorting through a stack of books and old tomes, mumbling something about a vendor who'd tried to rip him off this morning. The blood elf patiently waited to be noticed, his nerves growing rawer by the moment though. Finally, just as he was about to say something, the man turned around to face him, placing a pair of glasses from his sharp featured face onto the desk and facing him with a pleasant smile.*
"You could have spoken up earlier you know! I'm not a mind reader.
"I wasn't in a hurry. I'm hoping you can help me with something."
"Well I certainly can try. Are you looking for a particular book?"
"Yes and no. I mean I am here seeking something, but I think I lack the proper talents to find it on my own. Is there someone in the library who is talented at research that I could pay to assist me?"
"Oh... I'm sure there must be someone, although whether they're already busy with other tasks isn't for me to say. What is it you're searching for?"
*The man studied him with a critcial eye, but the elf held his ground, a stoic mask hiding the emotional purpose for his visit.*
"I'm looking for an event that occurred in the recent past, presumably in Silvermoon City. So a historian would probably be most helpful to me. My contact information is on this paper if you're willing to ask around for me."
"Of course, of course. I'll place it on the board, but I won't promise you anything!"
*The blood elf nodded his head slowly, handing the piece of parchment over, and started to walk off without a further word. He held the hope that someone might be able to assist, but seeing how difficult everything seemed to be lately he worried that this latest piece of the puzzle would be hard to discover."
(( For anyone who has a historian or a character who is a researcher, I'm looking to be contacted for assistance! I have some details to the event in question, but since it's a history about another character in the game I'll have to coordinate the possible findings with them. Hope someone will happen upon this request and you can either reply privately or to this thread if you're intrigued and wish to help. ))
