Made a background for Oniro now. It's still in progress, but it's coming along pretty well, I think. I decided to have him on the border of the Dead Scar instead of the Ghostlands. The barren area sort of contrasts nicely.

Think I should add anything?

Wow, that came through beautifully. Did you paint it, or is it a really convincing digital image?

Either way it looks like you put a lot of work into it. Kudos.

It's too light, add more dark. /bounce... either way it looks fucking -awesome- ....I always tell everyone to make their stuff darker so don't take it too personally?

I was actually expecting a darker background too, but I think the contrast between Oniro and the background gives it a really interesting look. I really like it, although it does make him disconnect from the environment a little bit.

I love how you do your skies. How did you do them??

I'm definitely gonna make the background darker and meld Oniro more into it eventually.

The sky, well, clouds are just like any other texture, just have to know where the highlights are and what to pop out.

I really like your art style. Do you have a gallery up on the 'net somewhere?

I love it. Really, truly, this is damn cool and I am in awe. The only thing I might suggest is to add some more light/detail to the chunk of hair facing us like the rest of the picture has going for it. It could be my monitor's brightness (or lackthereof) but it looks mostly just flat black.
