Misc. Quirks: For someone of his relatively young years, he can be stodgy and stubborn. He has a weird, clownish sense of humour that he tries very hard to pretend doesn't exist.
Played by What Famous Person: Heath Ledger
Theme Songs: Did Alfred have a theme song?
History:
Kelven comes from a long line of servants. They can trace their history back to the days of the Well of Eternity; when one of the Highborne called for tea and crumpets, it was a Willowwalk who brought them. Kelven's grandfather joined the staff of Sunbound Manor, and the eldest son of the Willowwalk family has served as butler there ever since.

Kelven was being trained to take his father's place when the Scourge struck. He lost both his parents in the attack, a story which is common enough in Silvermoon these days. He tried to help out during the chaotic time after the Scourge attack, but outside the structure of a functioning household, he wasn't much help to anyone - until the Blood Knights came. The magisters determined that Kelven, for whatever reason, was a prime candidate to be infused with the Naaru's essence, and so he was recruited into the ranks of the Blood Knights.

He served faithfully and well during the reconstruction of Silvermoon, but as a semblance of normalcy settled over the city, Kelven began to lose the sense of confidence and purpose he'd gained. His resolve weakening, and beset by the worry that he'd risen above his station and was guaranteed to fail, he took a sabbatical from the Knights and returned to Sunbound Manor.
In the interim, another butler had been hired, but on the strength of his family and his work with the Knights, he was allowed to return as an apprentice. Kelven was just happy to be back in the comfortingly strict and degrading world of servitude.

Then Duke Sunbound died suddenly, the victim of a murder, and the estate changed hands a few times. Eventually it ended up in the charge of Magister Qabian Amberlight and his family. Qabian had a disagreement with the butler, which ended in fiery unpleasantness, and Kelven was advanced into the vacant position.

It didn't take long for Master Amberlight to discover his big, quiet butler was a full-fledged Blood Knight, and decide to exploit this as much as he could...

I finally met the man at the New Years Ball. His costume was... -most- interesting.

*Rosalynd snickers a bit.*

The most exotic Big, Bad Wolf I've ever seen that's for sure. Perhaps he'll obtain the other half of the costume for next year?

*Rosalynd sighs as she smiles*

Interesting man.. perhaps I'll get to know him better. A fellow Blood Knight of the Grim -- I'll have to make it a point speak with him more.

He's a foolish child like most light thieves, but I'd rather he be watching the estate's accounts and managing the staff than concern myself with such inanity. He is solid enough to hold a shield for the Grim. Better to have him here where I can monitor him more easily than elsewhere.

Skilled in combat, and nice enough. He is always willing to help others. I just wish he would have more of his own opinions on things, instead of waiting on someone elses.

Hm.. He seems "nice", but being nice gets you nowhere. I will work with him, make him more powerful and worthy of the title of "Knight".

I finally got to speak with him at length, what I said before still holds true, at least that I wish he would be more strong in his own convictions. Humility and self-depreciation are two different things...

He is a very good individual, and one I could easily call a friend one day. He is quiet loyal to his causes, and I share much more with him than I had known.

Oh and I threatened to destroy him if he hurts people I care about, his reply was all I needed to hear to confirm that he is what he appears to be to me. I am glad to have him as an ally and I look forward to fighting by his side.

I miss Kelven. He is everything to me.

We were as pure and simple as two people can be with each other. He reached out for me when I needed him the most and showed what love and loving is all about. He looked into my eyes, and made me feel safe. Made me feel beautiful and strong. Made me believe I deserved him. And because of my bad temper, I shattered him alive. It is all my fault.

Now the Fire is consuming me slowly, taking it's time, so I have one last chance to make things right, and bring him back.

And I will.

I trusted you to take care of her, and you failed. Miserably.

I see the dark stain within your heart. When the time is right, and my power returned, I'll see you burned in holy fire. I can brighten the world by shining my own Light, but I can also do it by destroying the darkness.

You know, he looks suprisingly good dressed as a woodland creature. Pity he has such abhorrant taste in women.
Ah well, I suppose all of us go slumming from time to time. I'll try not to hold it against him, he's one fel of a knight to have standing between you and the foes. Couldn't ask for better.. really.

The fists of The Grim punch harder with this one around. I approve. He gives me a chance to relax and enjoy the screams.

Yeah he's ok, but his hair style is stupid and I like Kovan's better. Pretty quiet most of the time, or maybe I did all the talking for him. I would really like to teach him how to do a proper ponytail. Or maybe he should just leave it all down and tuck it behind his ears so it doesn't like, get in his eyes or something.
