My version of RP - ???

I didn't know what RP was when I joined this server, I had a couple co-workers talk me into playing this game on this server back in the beginning of the year. While I was working my way through this game and figuring out the mechanics as well as trying to learn my class, I have kind of developed my own interpretation of what role play is.

My character is really an extension of myself. I'm what you could call a goofwit (goofy and witty). I'm trying to speak more and more in white bubbles( /s ), I'm full of random, yet topical one liners, whether I'm in group or not, I prefer the white font bubbles when I communicate rather than /p or /ra. Once while on a zeppelin, i was speaking about real life in my bubbles and was corrected by an RP'er and realized my mistake...now I try to keep those conversations to whispers.

I don't have an accent, in fact my tone is usually very polite and my verbage rather descritptive sometimes since I'm very well read.

I don't have a backstory for my character and I don't know the lore very well, although I think I'm in love with Lady Sylvanas and live to serve her...in fact, maybe that could be my backstory...hmmmm. It's only fitting that she is in the Apothecry (sp?) where I can enlist for battlegrounds...and I LOVE killing alliance. So I get to see her a lot and always kneel before her.

Anyways, I'm evolving into my own version of role-play and just wanted to hear any thoughts on my interpretation.

Sounds good to me! This is my first attempt at RP too. Essentially, my character, Xeran, doesn't differ much in his opinons from me, the player. That way, it's easier to know what he thinks about any given situation. I don't need to ponder a situation and decide what my character thinks.

The crush on Sylvannus (sp) is a nice touch. Xeran has a thing for Jaina Proudmoore too. He basically turns into a knock-kneed, jabbering idiot whenever she's around (some people will say Xeran is always a knock-kneed, jabbering idiot, but don't listen to them.)

I also /bow whenever I enter and exit the Cathedral of Light in SW.

Oh yeah, I am glad I picked the name that I did, it seems to really fit an Undead Rogue.

And the funny thing is, when I created it, my wife said it was perfect for me. You see I've always had a thing for Jazz, so my internet name (gaming and email) for the longest time was Jazbone...hell I even named my daughter Jazmine. So have Jezagore as my character name is just well...fitting.
