so i now have a Syndicate faction bar on my rep list o_O. It was mentioned in wowhead that however being exhalted with ravenholdt is part of the epic rogue quest?

The Syndicate currently capture Orcs for slavery. The Horde's presence in Hillsbrad is purely to rescue several captured Orcs from a failed assault of Durnholde Keep.

I never had Syndicate bar. In the past, the only way to unlock Syndicate is to kill Ravenholdt, which is, by itself, difficult seeing that they were all elites, back before TBC. Now, well, Ravenholdt and Syndicate do not serve much purpose. A shame though. Would had loved some more rogue content. Needs moar Cloak-and-Dagger.

The Syndicate reputation bar was added quite a long time ago, but it was not an original one. I think it was added with the Revantusk one (which has since been removed for poor implementation).
I think it won't appear until the Ravenholdt one appears, which requires you to speak to one of their NPCs to get the neutral bar on.
Rogues need to get friendly with Ravenholdt, but that's where the excitement ends.

Yeah, they added it about the time Revantusk disappeared. From my understanding; it isn't like Booty Bay/Bloodsail Buc. They may of tried... but Blizzard probably took the stance of not reaching for modified old content, but new content.

I hope they do something more with that faction, Although i do love the ravenholdt manor its a nice little rp spot to stab things.

So there is no point to me collecting those Syndicate badges to turn in to Ravenholdt?

I do like that place though, a nice mountain chalet, complete with a veggie garden. Maybe there is a snowboard run nearby.

I would reccomend finshing the badge quest although don't count me 100% knowing on the matter. uhh like at some point in time you will get a new quest for some rogue gear from one of the guys there.. damn i fail at all things rogue.

I'm war with the Ravenholdt! If I step anywhere near them, i have to kill them all! (cause I mean i'm hated and they'll attack. :D )

IIRC, you need to be friendly with them to get your level 50 rogue quest. And you get friendly via the pickpocketed badges.

Hard to remember, as I did that a looong time ago.

The badge part is easy to do. Just pickpocket every damned thing with the name 'Syndicate' on them and turn them all in. But yeah, it isn't any useful beyond friendly.
