Since so many of us kept taking over the poor GuildRecruitment channel as our own personal chat, Rho and I set up /tng. It's OOC silliness, but great for laughs. Feel free to join in. XD

((What we need Alliance side is an RP chat room that's as active as the Horde's /join RP (Rest in Peace inn).))

Yes, poor GuildRecruitment. May ye rest in pieces. That sounds splendid, but Jazmina's idea sounds wonderfully fun too.. who wants to organize it?

Alas, all of my channels are already filled up.

((Alright, starting /BR for tavern RP. It's set in the Blue Recluse. Live RP you can find the tavern in the mages district in Stormwind. The proprieter is Steven Lohan. The head chef is Angus Stern. The apprentice chef is Connor Rivers. The bartender is Joachim Brenlow (all NPC's) and they server BOOZE!!!

So if you like tavern RP, if you've enjoyed the Rest in Peace inn horde side, then /join BP on Alliance side for rest and relaxation RP goodness.))

It's moments like these where I wish I could join you, as long as you don't attempt killing me and all. Sorry for making you all feel jealous of our chattiness!

((Well, I used to play Horde, and I know first hand how fantastic the RP is over there. Now I'd like to rev it up a bit on Alliance side too))

Ugra... be... blah!

I just threw up in my mouth.

Sorry.

Heh, I always wondered what would happen if I turn on the GuildRecruitment. I have a fun enough time throwing whispers at people who are still recruiting in the General channel.

Usually they are pretty nice... but those damn Vendetta guys - woo! Somebody needs to remove the sand from their vagoo.

For those that don't know, you can create new windows for these chat channels to cut down on information overload. My typical MO is:

Have a window for RP channels (labeled "RP"). This can also include OOC channels.

Keep the main window (the default) for /say, /yell, guild, party, raid and local defense only. I will alternately turn off guild chat and some other channels for Battlegrounds.

Keep the main window open and drag my RP window to a separate section of the screen.

This way each window contains messages of a particular type and it cuts down on information overload. If I'm doing something that requires a better view of the screen, I unlock and then stow my RP window back with the other windows. (I do this while raiding or BGing).

I also color-code the chat channels to make sure I can tell channels apart when they are in the same window.

I'll probably join both when I log in tonight.

:)
