The southeast tradewinds brought scents of spices from the ill-gotten goods stashed in the Bloodsail Compound nearby. Raptors hissed and trumpeted at one another, vying for the surf and the macaws as the loudest, the brightest sounds in the southern jungle.

Stranglethorn, so aptly named because even thorns themselves choked to death with the heavy greenery and vines strangled everything, tangled everything, made it easy for a Forsaken and his Troll. Very easy.

Her white braid hung over her shoulder, banging against her tabard as she joyfully cut at the scalp of the dwarf corpse as it seeped blood into the sand beneath her knees. She hooted, whistled and otherwise made strange noises that could be called entertaining herself.

"Ey Asmo! Ah got his scalp!" She ripped the last bit of skin, pulling his forehead away from his face. "Dwarf scalp is good. Dey take care of dere hair so good, pretteh. So good." She tied the scalp by the hair to her belt, sure that putting it in her bag would just get blood all over the place. Blood on the tabard was something she was used to, something that she enjoyed. Like a Surgeon's Smock, her tabard bore bloody scars of battles and scalps gone by.

She cackled. "Choo is so smart. Ah no even see dat dwarf dere. He on da list?"

Asmodeous looked up from the carnage, his felhunter, Traafen, still gobbling the innards of the fallen rogue.

"No he wasn't on my list, he was just in my way."

He pulled his hat down further over his eyes, "The trolls are over this way, there is no more reason to delay. Unless you feel some weird attachment to receiving more hair pieces from that slob."

He placed his hands on the ground forming a strange circle with his hands, fire engulfed the ground creating a circle, and a steed of fire emerged. Asmodeous mounted the horse and began trotting off into the distance.

She jogged over to a tree which had a somewhat charred broomstick lying next to it. From her eyes, purplish shadows leaked up and over her head, blanketing her with the dark form the Loa had gifted her. She straddled the broom which hovered of its own power and kicked off after Asmodeous.

They had been in Stranglethorn for days now. The jungle suited her and she barely sweated in the heat, that heavy jungle heat. Asmodeous, of course, showed no discomfort except for a constant state of annoyance at waiting for Keeju when she stopped to cut herbs or scalp kills.

She floated merrily after him, animals cowered in the bushes sniffing the blood and scent of life. Hungry for a kill. Asmodeous continued to stop his horse, allowing Keeju to catch up as she floated back and forth. Why he put up with her was amazing, but she was completely unaware about how he patronised her.

"Mah troll to kill?"

He pulled up in one of the troll ruins, it didn't really matter which one. All the trolls looked the same to him, and they all wanted to kill anything that didn't smell like them so it didn't much matter which place he was in or what kind of troll it was.

As Asmodeous stepped off of his steed it shattered into ash and returned to the from where it was spawned from awaiting the next time it would need to be called. There were not only trolls in this ruin but ghouls and naga as well. It was odd.

He set to work, though none of these creatures were likely in debt with the Dark Lord, there were goblins in Booty Bay that would pay for body parts of these things, and extra coin was always welcome, it could buy him peace and quiet usually.

"May you serve your masters better in death than you do in life."

Keeju cackled in delight at one of Asmodeous' entertaining sayings. She pointed her finger at the closest walking corpse and its skin bubbled as she cackled, "Pain!" With a fluid swish, she twirled around and a bluish hand grasped to its head. She crouched down and a bluish purple ribbon shot out from her right palm right to the victim. She shook her bottom, humming along with the flow of her powers. Green rivelets crawled up her, Traafen, and Asmodeous' necks.

The corpse's attention was hers and it dragged itself as through mud towards her, groaning out, arms outstretched and lurching towards her. Through the purple haze of her shadowy form, she saw Asmodeous' powers leach the creature of its life. Power, hers and his filled her and she grew heady with it. Delighted in it. She closed her palm, the stream stopped, then she opened it again, even more powerful than before.

Asmodeous walked around the pile of dead creatures kicking at them to make sure they were truly dead before taking note of a shiny gold ring glistening upon the finger of one of the zombies.

"Hmmm. I do believe some goblin wanted revenge upon you creature. Though it would seem as though you have already been paying for your stupidity."

Asmodeous tugged on his hat again pulling it down further over his eyes when he felt something in his pocket, reaching into his robe he brought out his list of names and looked over it. None of these creatures were on the list either, though when he heard the sound of a twig near him snapping he whipped around and whispered, "Are you coming to me now? Well, that would make my job a lot easier."

Keeju rifled through the corpses and retrieved a few valuables, singing her happy juju song while shadow shifted and swirled around her. Traafen snuffled the corpses, then bounded off and she looked up to see Asmodeous was deep in combat. She pulled out a cup and poured herself some water, drinking while she watched. Her toes twitched with anxiousness, but she could not join him, not yet.

Asmodeous never asked her whether she would join him, but it was always her following him and slowing him up. Her scattered thoughts and attentions tested his patience. Often she would invite people to join them, whether or not they needed the help.

She swallowed one last gulp and shoved her cup into her belt pouch. "PAIN!" She cackled, but it was already too late as Asmodeous had done the work for her. He stood above her on the hill as she plodded up after him. "Choo find anytin--"

He raised his hand and she became obediently silent, watching him and waiting. He saw something and when he wanted her silent, it usually led to some fun. Perhaps someone on his List. Murder. Death. Fear. Keeju shimmied with excitement.
