My stupid friend just deleted my characters, Orgo and Vay. I made him pay though. Kind of hard to laugh when you no longer have a lower jaw. :evil:

Le sigh... All that work. I dunno, I'm not sure I have the heart to start all over again with those characters. :cry:


I was thinking, I might go Alliance. I need a change, and my experience with the Horde community hasn't been all peaches and pussies. What do you all think? How is TN's Alliance community?

TN's community is good on the alliance side.


On a side note, blizzard will give you a limited number of character resores... so you could get both of those characters restored. They will only do this a few times (3 or 4 by all accounts) but it is an option.


Kick your friends ass and prevent him from accessing your account again.


Actually, anyone who would delete your characters isn't really a friend. (Unless you are suffering from serious, serious WoW addiction.)

Tyrsza is right - you can contact Blizzard and they should be kind enough to assist you in character restoration.

... at the very least, you can sell all your stuff and then try to get a "friend" to help on Alliance side.

:idea: I'm actually getting a good idea for a character, an evil character. :twisted: I want to see if I can get people to hate him. Not like a ganker's "hate" or anything like that, but a true monster in a human skin. Someone so despicable and cruel not even the most angelic of people will be able to stomach him.

If you call Blizzard and explain the situation they might be able to restore your characters for you. I have heard that they can do that (but it takes a long time) in the General forums.

First let me say "ouch" and I really hope your friend is paying for what he did.

Second "welcome to the Alliance" if you feel the desire, /w me in game and I might be able to help with some of that money/gear you lost. And Hurray!!! I hope your evil idea works and you thrive on it. I might have to look you up as Cae's "rose colored world" could use some more shaking up :D

Third if you find yourself not at home on the alliance, just petition Bliz to get your chars restored. It could take a while, but they are pretty good about getting it restored. I've had friends who have gotten toons restored from being deleted for over a year. So feel free to take your time with the idea and enjoy the alliance for a bit. Who knows you might like it.

Also as someone has said before each account has only a few restores on it, so just keep that in mind.

Seriously, if you liked your old characters, I'd get them restored. I deleted one of mine once (speed clicking 'delete' + copy/pasted "delete" text =s OOOOOOOOPS). It will take a couple days to get it back but it should be there including any mail and bank items that were on the character when it was deleted. You may no longer be associated with your guild / friends but those are easy enough to reset yourself.

And give your friend a wedgie. :twisted:

Also... Alliance seem to be lacking a 'little' in RP on this server, which is very odd considering what Iv'e seen on other servers. But of course I'm a Horde, so I COULD be wrong, but from what Hizafet (excuse spelling if its wrong) and others have said, RP is less on Alliance than Horde on this server.
