Okay, well first of all hey all of you crazy artistic people that are probably 390589023 times better than me. But the only thing I need help is with is how to draw the side of a head for my comic strip that is oddly considered homework. So any examples would be fine thank you!

a side of a head? you could probably look up profile shot or profile pic and get a pretty good reference. =) Or take a picture of yourself from the side. Do you want it humanish or more cartoonish/fantasy?

I want a comic-ish human, I got my robot character's head drawn quite well (for me at least).

I found (and this is just personal experience) the best way to draw, is to draw. Insipid, yes. But I sat down and actually tried to add detail, erase what I didn't like, and blah de blah de blee de blee.
I was thrilled with how it turned out, and have only improved from there. One thing I did do, however (and still do from time to time) is go to a more "gifted" friend (shall we say), and ask him to do a few for you. THen just "monkey see, monkey do" it.
