Heyas, I just thought I'd make some kind of post about it here... in case there are a few that haven't been keeping up with it. Metzen has addressed the lore issues that have arisen, and he made a post (through Tseric) on the general forum, which can be found here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general&t=8333849&p=1&tmp=1#post8333849
Not quite sure what to think of it, personally... I think he's been having a bit too big of a taste of the high life for a bit too long, meself... seems like that creative spark just... I dunno, isn't quite there anymore. Could just be me, though.
Sort of reminds me of a guy who started out doing something he loved and was good at, but then once his work earned him enough success, money, and power, he just sat back and began to live off the fat of his achievements. He only deceived himself, however, as his life wasn't made; he soon realized that in order to continue his newfound lifestyle, he would have to return to his work again, which by then he had taken such a long vacation from that he had lost his touch. Unable to perform and create with the same spark that he used to, his success went down the toilet, his job tanked, and everything that he had created fell into obscurity as another casualty of apathy.
 i hope that's not where it's headed...
