Warneshi

The winds of Tanaris blew harshy as the small group of trolls dug themselves in, hiding their presence in the sands. Warneshi Sandscalp and his group of fellow Sandfury had been stalking the caravan for days. The group consisted of goblin merchants, human settelers, cenarion circle servents, and the usuall vagabonds; they were bound for the oasis's of Tanaris for the settelers, Un'Goro for the goblins, and Silithus for the Cenarions; the Vagabonds did not care where they went as long as it was away from the law.

Warneshi and his group had decided on this spot for the ambush, the caravan would be stuck between two gigantic rock formations, allowing only two possible ways to escape. One of the Sandfury approached his king with more information on the group.

"Tyrant, the caravan will be easy to take, the guardss will not be a problem, they are weak from the heat and exhausted from the trip so far. The group is not carrying many valuables, just the usuall non-combatant settlers and a few greedy green-skins."

Warneshi regarded his servent, indeed it was going to be an easy target.

"Well then move our shadow hunterss into posisstion, if any try to run, hex them and we will take them lasst. Warneshi wantss the bloodrinkerss in firsst, and on the right side; drive them into the canyon wallss."

Warneshi looked to the walls opposite of him where several of his trolls lay in wait to drop down on the group when their backs his the wall.

"My Tyrant, one more thing you should know. With this group rides a messenger of Thrall, bound for Silithus and the horde command post there. Shall we leave him alive and escort him the rest of the way?"

Warneshi thought on the matter, the alliance with the horde was still lose at best, and killing one of Thrall's servants would most definitly ruin any peacefull relations that may of existed. Warneshi knew however that if he was going to kill Cenarions and the messenger reported this to Thrall, that the Sandfury could be marked as enemy's of the war in Silithus and bring whole armies down on top of his head. It was better just to kill the messenger and be done with it.

"Slay them all, none survive thiss."

The Sandfury bowed and went about delivering the orders, he wouldn'y argue with the Tyrant, he enjoyed his soul right where it was.

Warneshi watched his servent run off, he reached down and checked his light armor, he never wore his heavy armors in the desert, only fools and holy men did that. He wrapped his leather cowl around his face and grabbed his axe. Warneshi spotted a small night elf child walking next to its parents; Warneshi could feel his hunger rising, the souls od children were always so sweet, it was going to be a good day indeed.

------------------------------------------

The battle was swift, the Sandfury well versed in this kind of warfare. The caravan never expected the attack, the trolls rose from the sands where they had buried themselves and took about slaughtering the guards and innocents without compasion or feeling.

The messenger of Thrall was shocked to see what was happening, he knew that the Sandfury trolls were a divided tribe, half still serving some ancient god in Zul'Farrak, the other half following their King Warneshi Sandscalp; he knew those of Zul'Farrak very rarely left the city, and not in this kind of force, they had to be servents of Warneshi. What was the troll king doing? He would of known that cenarions and this messenger rode with this caravan, and yet he still struck.

Warneshi strode through the field of death left in the wake of his people's attack. His 8 foot form towering over even his own brethern, known to be an already tall tribe of trolls. Warneshi held the limp form of a small night elf in his hand, the body looking like only a small doll in the troll Kings hands. The child had screamed and squirmed, making the meal even more enjoyable.

Warneshi reached the messenger of Thrall, who had taken a Sandfury arrow to the knee and was now being held in place by two large Sandfury Blooddrinkers. Warneshi removed his mask and smiled at the orc, but from the fear in the orcs eyes, Warneshi knew no introduction was needed.

"Wha...wha...what is the meaning of this Tyrant! I am a servent of Thrall, youre ally in arms! Their was Cenarions here too! Also allies of Thrall! Have you gone mad! Thrall will hear of this and your whole tribe will be brought to ruin!"

Warneshi smiled and leaned in close and whispered in the orcs ear.

"Thrall will never hear of thisss orc for you will soon be like thiss child here. *Warneshi threw the limp elf form at the orcs feet* Thesse sandss are Warneshi'ss, and soon all will undersstand that they musst assk Warneshi permission to enter thesse landss. Do not be foolissh enough to think Thrall will find you in the spirit realm and get thiss information from you, you are not going there orc."

Warneshi laughed and leaned in close and drew the orcs soul from his body, devouring it whole, denying the orc any after life he may of wished for.

---------------------------------------------

The young orc rode towards the giant rocks, it was his first day leading a scouting party, and their orders were clear; find the missing caravan that had been days overdue with important orders for the horde troops in Silithus. He reared in his mount, odd, he thought he saw something move in the sands, he shook it off as just another mirage, the desert did play lots of tricks on the mind, or so he was told.

As they approached the twin rocks, the young orc pulled his reins hard and looked in shock at what he saw. Dead, all of the caravan dead, their bodies all thrown in giant grotesque pile. A large spear protruded from the groud, it was stuck into the body of a young night elf boy, and what appeared to be Thrall's messenger; on the end of the spear was stuck through a bleached white troll skull that was missing it's tusks.

The young orc shoke his head, it was time for orders, and to get a hunting party together, he turned to give orders just as an arrow entered his body at the base of his skull, he dropped from his mount with a heavy thud just as a warcry came from the rocks "Blood of the Sandfury!" and the sands seemed to come to life, trolls erupted from them.

---------------------------------------

Warneshi sat in his embassy in Orgrimmar, reading all his incoming messages, and drafting new orders; his people were growing in number, and likewise was the time he needed to spend in this place. One of his guards stepped into the room, bowing low and waiting for his King to address him. When Warneshi looked up, the guard spoke.

"A messenger from Thrall is waiting outside, she says it is urgent."

Warneshi nodded and the guard went to get the messenger. The young female orc entered quietly, she had seen the looks the 4 female Sandfury had given her when she waited for this audience, she imagined their King had to be far more aggresive then his guards, plus their was the stories she had heard about him. The orc took in the sight of the large troll and shivered before giving her her message.

"King Warneshi of the Sandfury, the Warchief has sent me to ask if you are aware of the attacks against supply trains of both horde and alliance taking place in Tanaris. He also asks that since they are occuring in your lands that you take steps to find the perpetrators of these crimes and bring them to justice, in name of the horde and the new Sandfury's continued relations with them."

Warneshi smiled and looked into the eyes of the messanger, he smelled fear, and a soul rank with fear was a delicacy indeed.

"Tell Thrall that Warneshi iss aware of thesse attackss and hass already sent hiss besst hunterss to find them. Warneshi thinkss the raiderss are being sent from Zul'Farrak, the rebel Sandfury, tell your Warchief to worry not, Warneshi will have them and the city under hiss control soon."

Warneshi lowered his eyes back to his work, the messanger lingered for a bit, not knowing if this was a sign to leave or not. After a few minutes of silence Warneshi looked up and into the eyes of the orc, narrowing his eyes.

"You are dissmisssed orc, be gone and give that messsage."

The orc breathed a sigh of relief and left quickly to deliver the message. After the orc left Warneshi let lose a light laugh and pulled up a plank beneath his desk and reached in, pulling out a leather sandworn mask.
