Notice on Orgrimmar's Orphanage

A letter has been posted by the door of the orphanage in Orgrimmar. In carefully-written big, bold letters it reads:

A TEN SHEN HOD:

My name is CHAVIE SINGER. I am a HAND OF DEATH of THE GRIM and HA SIS TER AF TE CHIL REN and a priest of the Forsaken. The matrons of this place have let me take care of TWO orphans this week and I visit when I can.

It has come to my attention that some people have been MISUSING the orphans that have been ENTRUSTED to them by these caring Matrons. Obviously those who are DOING this have no empathy so I will not appeal to your SENSE OF DECENCY. Instead, I appeal to your COMMON SENSE.

These are the future fighters of the Horde! These are your future comrades in arms against the hated Alliance! Your actions as you take care of these orphans will help to form their views on your RACE, your GUILD, and the HORDE in general. If you HURT them unnecessarily, you may be taking a SOLDIER from the ranks of the Horde.

Now I will appeal to your sense of SAFETY. Under the current LAWS of the land I cannot KILL anyone of the Horde who harms one of these children but I promise that I will TRY. At the least, I openly challenge ANYONE who harms a child here to a DUEL. I promise to refrain from HEALING or BLESSING any known child-abuser. And when The Grim are finally victorious and PEACE is returned to the land, if I am still on this world I will hunt you and kill you until you rise no more.

If you are a nice person who is helping these orphans thank you very much and have a nice day.

A gangly troll hands his charge off to the Matron, shooing the "brat" away, even though the vestiges of a smile linger on his face. His attention is abruptly caught by the notice on the door, which after bidding the Matron adieu he stoops forward to read.

After sifting down the letter, he sits on his haunches by the door and cups his chin, staring up at it, then hefts himself up and grunts in disdain.
"Seriously," he half states to himself, half projects in the direction of the Matron, "dis sista' not be gettin' it. Wat she should be doin' is takin' 'er charges out ta see da world! Lemme see, dis week ah took da brat troo two successful battles in da Valley, showed 'im Rend's ugly mug afta' we cut it off, took 'im along ta anotha raid on da Spire, showed 'im dat nasty hideout da Scourge call da Scholomance...", his voice trails off, the troll continues to count off on his fingers as the Matron stares at him in growing horror. The troll's former charge stops in mid lunge towards another youngster long enough to give a toothless grin. "... oh yah, an' bought 'im sum ice cream."

Chum stares down at Whiskers the Rat, "Hey what did we do with that kid anyways?"

A scared little Orc boy stands crying in the middle of Duskwood. He hears the howl of a wolf and the shriek of some unkown entity...

"Oh well I am sure he will be fine!" Says Chum with a bright smile on his face as he and Whiskers proceed to the Zeppelin Tower.

With her valentine Vuudu at her side, Chavie set out to Duskwood to find this Chum person. Tosamina, the matron, had said he hadn't returned with his orphan yet; and Chavie had heard rumors about his attitude toward the little children.

She'd also heard he lived at Duskwood most of the time, around the cemetary, and so went out with Vuudu to track him down and confront him.

They did not find him, but as they were searching the cemetary, Chavie spotted a small orc huddled on a cracked and mossy statue. Chavie pointed him out to Vuudu, then lifted him gently onto her horse, Bu Bat. Together, the three rode back to Grom'Gol and took the zeppelin to Orgrimmar to return the child safely to his home.

Now, why I be wantin a sticky orc pup following me around and pesterin me for ice cream and such?

"Well I definitely didn't mistreat the kid! I took him all the places he felt he needed to see, bought him some ice cream, and.. something else. But more importantly, I imparted the kid with a lot of the knowledge in my brilliant orcish mind! He learned fast too! By the end of the night, the boy had five cute honies dancin' with him!

Warneshi smiles as he reads the note and kicks his second orphan forwad.

"Fasster slave, you mussst learn to be stronger and fasster if you wissh to serve the Tyrant."

Warneshi grabs his orphan by the scruff of its neck and pulls it in close to his face.

"And if you whissper one word of thiss to Warneshi'ss little sisster Grim, you will get firsst hand experience with what happened to the lasst orphan Warneshi had..."
