I putz about a bit in photoshop at times and did a couple avatars myself, but nothing really seems to work with this one for some reason... mostly the ears. I can never get them to look right when I try and paint them on.

Anyone want to give this a shot? A nice picture of Claire Forlani (She starred in Meet Joe Black) that has an impeccable resemblance to my priesty.

Updated the pic with a little bit more green in the eyes I hope ya likes :) just let me know in pm what exactly the color is that your looking for. I will get ears right I swear it! Haha wish her ears were showing then just a few liquify warping can make it so much easier.

Oh and on a side not not worries about getting prosecuted for being Quel'dorei. You can have blue eyes and be Sin'dorei its mostly a allegiance thing, the shift between blue and green is mostly blue represented the once arcane energy going through the race. Those that shifted to green put a more dominating magic in their system aka fel that shifted the eyes to fel green.

There are a some good ears out there, like the Baile one thats pretty good just narrow them up since BEs go up opposed to back as the Night elves. I even think you did a fine job still on Rand's avatar ears. Just glad I can zoom in on Roth's Ava to not have to show the ones I made for him >_>

Once again like the ears man! Maybe narrow them out a little bit to step away from NE ears to more straight human yet long and pointed ears ^^

The eye effect I learned from Vilmah and someone else I don't quite remember from a thread way back when this crazy got set in.

What I do is just take a light brush and go over the eyes with white a little bit, sometimes layer mask it to fade them out and add more of a white. Then go to another layer increase my brush size and switch the layer mode to lighten, choose the color to glow and airbrush or soft paint brush around the eyes. The lighten keeps the detail behind the color and makes it look like a glow

For my eyes I use a gradient that goes from foreground to nothing and make the foreground green. I then choose the circular one (can't htink of it's technical name) and start making small circles until the eyes are completely green and you get that feather/glow effect going off the sides too.

The way I do the eye glow is i go on a seperate layer JUST for the glow. I do multiple shades from the base color to white in circles of different sizes, then I use a Gaussian blur filter, usually around a 5, and then i mess with the layer opacity.

I'd do the same thing I did with the tatoo, I'd select the area I wanted to make darker and just mess with the hue/saturation brightness/contrast until it looks right.

I saw somewhere once where a digital artist took a mans face (making the expression from the WC orc box) and edited it to resemble an orc. the finished results was a 3D image of an orc screeming. I wish I could find it again :(.
