Background: Gor'vena is happy and loves life and the world around her. Well, that part of the world that is'nt inhabited by "those icky gnomes." Once thought a gnome was sniffing her in an inappropriate manner (based solely on the location of the gnome's nose due to his height) and removed his nose and presented it to him.

Gor'vena's speech is usually amusing and sometimes unbearable. Liberally peppered with phrases such as "Omigawd!" and "Awesome," she has more than once chased away potential friends. Gor'vena claims that her speech patterns are a result of her growing up near the Valley of Trials, therefore making her a "Valley Orc." The real reasons behind her unusual way of self-expression seem to be deeper and darker though...

"Gor'vena is one of the first of the Grim to make a lasting impression on me. She's incredibly eager, very...bright, shiny almost. I found her speech somewhat strange at first, and was never really able to pick up on the correct usage of some of the words she uses."

"Her skills as a vanguard have grown considerably over the past few months. I think I can safely say that I would trust her in the face of our enemies." Acherontia's brow furrows for a bit, then she nods briefly and grins. "Like. Totally."

Unlike most orcs, she is curious. Always asking, "Why?" or such things, it is a pleasure to explain the world to her. Whether she retains the knowledge later, I know not.

I have yet to heal for her what with my busy schedule and that she has not joined us in Karazhan. She seems to always be with Chingaso's wife and so in the past Orugasa healed with us in Karazhan which means she may one day be our vanguard. In any case, I hear good things that despite her amusing speech she is a rather solid wall.

Unless she sees something cosmetic, then apparently she loses it.

Gor'vena is... unique. And what I appreciate about her is exactly how distinctly not elven she is in almost every way. She can hold a shield decently, but she is highly emotional. However, I do not question her eccentricities, so I think we have an understanding between us.

Gor'vena is a really nice girl, and I've known her ever since she just started out as a warrior. She's a little older than me, but not by much, and because of that I've always felt a special kinda kinship with her. Like she knows what it's like to be as young as we are with such a tough job.

"Gor'vena's unique, even fer an orc, but she's a fine warrior ter 'ave at yer side. More'n that, she's loyal an' a friend, an' I t'ink that's more'n jus' 'cause she's Chingaso's cousin. I know she sets some o' the Grim on edge wi' 'er way o' speakin', but lots o' them don' 'ave much room ter talk. Anyway, I like it, an' I'll be there at 'er side whenever she needs me... less I's busy stabbing summat else, o' course."

I met Gor'vena a week or two ago...She helped us kill some orcs in the Hellfire Citadel. I have got to say, I was impressed with her....She is a good warrior, but moreso than that, She is fun! She has a smile on her face when she kills her enemies at times, and I can totally respect that.

Totally.

"Ah, yes. So utterly filled with enthusiasm. I think we have seen her mature as she has spent time with the Grim. She has lost some of her innocence, learned to endure more hardship.

"Not that you could tell by how she speaks, of course..."
