I'm getting a rash of people registering and not confirming. Or worse, registering with emails that get bounced. My inbox is full of rejected auto-emails, most of them coming from AOL.
Could someone who uses AOL try to register a new account here and tell me if they ever get the registration email?
Thanks.

Some do, but I think she's just trying to sort out the real users from the bots trying to gain access to spam junk at the boards.

Thanks.I'm afraid that's partly an issue that we've been trying to fix on our end. Because of certain other clients of ours who have their sites send them e-mail, then when they get the e-mail they report it as junk, and AOL decides that our mail server must be spamming people.
We've been doing our best to stay on AOL's e-mail whitelist, but so far, it's people who cause this problem for us.
Speaking of, if you use AOL or gmail or hotmail, please don't report any mail from the site as junk mail.. It just makes it less likely for any mail through our servers to get out.

ah! Thanks Icia.
I'm going to go ahead and manually activate all of the accounts in the "no confirms received" then.
If one of them is a spammer then I guess it's their lucky day :)
