Checking the job boards when he gets back to SI:7, he is approached by Mathias Shaw, head of the establishment. He says “I have a favor to ask of you, Mr. Ravenshank…” Meaning he has a job for Laron, and he had better not decline it. Holding his hand, he starts to sweat as Mathias gives Laron an envelope with a black ribbon tied around it. This usually means a highly dangerous mission. Laron looks at the envelope with wide eyes and says “But… I… I didn’t talk in prison… despite their torture…” Smirking at the power he held on his initiates, he says to Laron. “The envelope is not yours to perform.” Laron breaths a sigh of relief… “So… why are you giving it to me?” Laron doesn’t even want to touch it, for most who take the black ribbon, never return. “I need one of my more trusted agents to make sure it is delivered in person. Ironically it was your held tongue in the Stockades that landed you this job. Your mark is the Paladin named Rencarth. Make sure this is given to him and he reads it. When you return, we will discuss your percentage increase.” Laron nods and starts to walk off, Master Shaw says to him “Oh and Mr. Ravenshank… you know not to return if you fail.” With that, Laron is out the door, and heading to the chapel, since it seemed the best place to start looking for a Paladin.

After running into a brick wall of silence with the priests, Laron starts to think that this man must have done something really wrong. This might make him hard to find. Checking with a few contacts, he finds that a Paladin of that name had been spotted in the Hinterlands. Sighing, Laron says this will take some time… The tram station is empty, with the extensive new training of griffons and hippogriffs, no one seems to even remember the hard work that was put into digging the Deep Tram run. “Oh well…” maybe I can catch a nap on the ride to Ironforge.” The car arrives and Laron takes one last look around as he steps on. Sitting against the railing, he waits till the car start to move, and falls asleep.

Laron cuts through Dusk Wood. It is night, as he is stalks the undead warrior in the Raven Hill Grave Yard. He starts his attack with a massive stab to the back were the beating heart should have been but the undead does not fall… Turning around it pulls the knife out of his hand and starts to raise his sword to swing at Laron. Blocking with his off hand sword, Laron draws his other sword and strikes the area where the warrior’s stomach should have been. With a loud “clang!” Laron’s sword deflects off the spine of the lumbering warrior. As the large undead takes another swing, Laron dodges under the arm as it comes down, and plants a solid kick to the knee of the skeleton. It’s knees breaks under the weight of his armor, and the undead falls to the ground trying to crawl. Stepping on the warrior’s sword, Laron cleaves the sword hand off and brings his other sword down to decapitating his foe. Retrieving his dagger, Laron feels a sharp burning pain in his back and his chest both at once. Looking down , he sees the point of a blade sticking out of his ribs under his chest. His eyes go wide as he sees it disappear back into his body. With a slurping sound, the blade is pulled free. Turning to see his killer, he sees woman with straps of studded leather covering her eyes. “Undead!” he tries to scream, but his lung is filling with blood. And he cannot take in the breath to speak. The last thing he sees is the seductive smile upon her face, as he falls limp to his knees and his vision goes black...

((Hehe..sorry, its tragic but I can't help myself. Dare I ask who? But methinks that description nicely fits someone I have in mind, especially if this was Sat night..))

Well I was in SM on Sat night. But quite a while a go, I did have the pleasure of meeting a very sexy rogue, in the graveyard...

The tram stops, jerking Laron from his slumber. “Maybe a nap wasn’t so good after all…” Collecting himself he leaves the tram, he heads into Ironforge. Walking towards bank, Laron almost stops in his tracks, when he sees his mark. Making his way towards the unsuspecting Paladin, he does a swift bump and grab. The coin pouch of the Paladin is very heavy, making him wish he didn’t have to give it back… Standing by the opening of an ally, Laron make a sharp whistle. As the Rencarth looks at him he holds the coin pouch up and his him a sly smirk. Rencarth’s look turns from surprised to seething anger, when he realizes that the Thief had lifted his pouch. Laron runs down the ally and throws a pinch of flash powder, hiding in the shadows. Rencarth comes down the ally, hammer in hand and is met with smoke, making it very hard to see. Turning in a defensive circle, He says “I have you cornered Thief, now we can do this the easy way or the hard way…” With a calm and confident voice, Laron says “It is me who has you cornered meat shield… If you look at your feet you will find your money.” Glancing down, with the glow of his weapon, Rencarth can see his money pouch. He pays it no mind, fearing that the Thief will take the opportunity to strike when he reaches for it. Laron says “You are the one called Rencarth, correct?” “Who wants to know?” The Paladin says squinting, and gripping his hammer tightly. He tries to get a direction to swing at. Stepping out of the shadows, Laron says “I have a letter for you.” Handing him an envelope with a black ribbon tied around it. “I am required to make sure you read it. So let’s not make this take any longer than it needs to be.” Seeing Laron lean against the wall and put his foot up. Rencarth puts his hammer away, and opens the letter.

Paladin Rencarth,
It has come to our attention that you have been coercing with the Undead creature named Elyn. Though this fact does not concern us, we know it would concern your order… This fact is what brings us to the matters at hand.

The Magi Arcanist Doan has been using his powers of scrying to keep tabs on key agents of ours. He must be silenced. His treachery has earned him a mark of death. He can be found in the Scarlet Monastery’s Library.

Which brings us back to you, Paladin of The Light… If his head is delivered to us, secrets kept by us, will remain kept. The Agent that was sent to deliver this letter to you is to accompany you to ensure that the task has been completed. If any harm comes to him, at your hand, your life will become very short.

We expect to hear from you soon.

SI:7

Reading it aloud, Rencarth looks at the very surprised Laron, and says “From the look on your face, I take it, they don’t like you either…” Laron doesn’t know what to think of this change in events. Sizing up the Paladin, he says “Well we are going to need a healer.”
