*Unintellagable*

*Hard to read but it seems to be a date of somekind*

Today I left Brill heading toward Lorderan. It was the shortest trip I had ever taken, but it took a while to get there. The Knights wouldn't let me see the king, once again I was turned away. Why does this happen every time? I want to be in the army, I want to defend against the Hoarde! The skum have attacked again and again, yet we do nothing but sit here. I'm not going to stay a peasant forever, I will fight for what I believe in.
Tomarrow I'm returning with the same request, if they don't accept this time I'll grab a pitchfork and go to battle that way.

*Another unintellagable date, but you guess it's the one following the last one*

Today I went again, some problem apprantly happened near the gate, and the Orcs broke through the defense we had set up. So they were now actively recruiting anyone who asked. They didn't need to ask twice, father already died for this war. I instantly joined up and began training.
To tell you the truth it was much easier than I thought it would be, this sword and shield is nothing compared to what I thought they would be like. I may only be thirteen, but I am a strong man.
Until tomarrow, I guess I won't be doing much else.

*the writing continues on the next page. It seems that much of it has been destroyed by decay, this ceertainly was an old book. Probably as old as the second or first war.*

Today we march, we march toward the Orcs front line. We have started pushing them back, but they have a large foothold. Father, I promise I will fight bravely in your honor. My wife, Elitica has had a child, we havn't named it yet, but I think I will name him in your honor father. The name... *it is scratched out on the page, possibly from water damage*. It was your name father and i believe he deserves it. I will tell her now so she can name him in my stead, I do not expect to return home, but instead to die protecting man from this fel army.
My commander told me to say goodbye to everyone, I will be leaving this journal with my wife, I will be continuing my writinggs in another journal, until then, my beloved Elitica, stay safe. I will miss you mi'love.
*the signature at the bottom seems to be scribbled, but you can make out an S at the beginning*

*The next page has a different style of handwriting, it seems to be more femanine. You still wonder how this book made it into Stormwind, but you'll find that out eventually.*

My dearest has left, on his way out he gave me the name for his child, I agreed that it was the right name. The only other thing he left me was a kiss and our home, which is probably going to be reposessed by the king. The orcs have continued to move on our front, I hear man is doomed. The king continues to tell his people that we are winning and there is no chance to lose, but I know the truth. It is only a matter of time before the Orcs get here, until then my dearest Bomvole, I will watch after your son,
*the page is ripped off from this part down, you curse at the poor condition of this book*
*The next few pages are in even worse condition, the small book seems to have gotten smaller over the years.*

*You flip through the book, there are a large ammount of pages in writing you don't understand, a language that looks smoothly written, you guess probably a type of elvish. Eventually you find your way to a page written in common.*

I just found this thing, I have deciphered the pages behind this. At this time this book is sitting in Lorderan. By the writing before this I am guessing it was the property of a family during the first war due to events listed. Because of this I have decided to put notes in the remaining pages. The pages before this seem to be written in elvish, but that is not possible. By further studying this I have determined that those pages were written by the same woman, in fear that her writing was being read by others. It was possibly a language she developed herself. Because of this there is no way for me to decode this withou the cipher she used. The characters do look familliar though, and they seem to follow the same paterns as common. I will continue on this later...
*The writing trails off at the end. You continue to flip through the book and only find one more page*

Prince Arthas, after slaying his father has returned to Lorderan. I have taken this book to Stormwind. I am leaving tomarrow, I have shipment of bread to pick up. I will update on the cipher. I have discovered it used characters from a series of novels popular in Lorderan. I have asked for these from Lorderan library, but because of the crisis there I doubt I will recieve them. Well I'm off to go pick up that bread, they said it was from some place that started with an A... Andorhal I think they said. Its a shame to what happenned to it, but that is out of Stormwind's reach. I sure am hungry, I doubt they'll care if I take a bite.
