*A small note is pinned to the wall near the gates of Orgrimmar, written in orcish, and again in a rather fancy taurahe*

Kaliera Swiftwind and Fhenrir Phoenix are being married this Sunday, when the time is approximately 9pm. The wedding will be held on the Twin Colossals in Feralas. All are welcomed to attend, however any acts of spite or violence are explicitly forbidden. If you want food you are expected to bring your own, the same goes for drinks.

Hope to see you there!

(( This is the in character "invitation" from this (http://tn.yzeens.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=815) thread. Everyone is welcome to come! I should hope a certain sneaky night elf that knows taurahe can leak the word to the opposite faction for me, since Fhenrir wouldn't say anything. ))

Mortica

The undead rogue Mortica pauses in front of the note. She stands there for a long time, much longer than needed to read the short note. And then, with a visible twitch, continues on, an unreadable look on her face.

The Dwarven General (Hey, we're on a roll) grunted with annoyance, sitting at his desk. Someone had thought a Tauren being wed was something he should know about. Someone was wasting his time - something that was increasingly valuable to him now.

((Arpee? Hope you have a fun time. I couldn't bring myself to compromise Garbhan's character and have him show up. You understand :D ))

*reads over the sign, admiring the penmanship*
*scratches head*
"A wedding, eh?" thinks I.
*grins*
*digs heels in to his raptor's sides, and races to catch that damnable zeppelin*

"It's about time somethin showed up ta keep him busy," Voljaan says aloud as he sees the note. "Ya can''t live your life bashin heads in Warsong, though dat is a good passtime..."

The undead High Mistress stops to read the note, which is barely legible to her eyeless gaze. Finally she takes the note down and holds it so that the light streams through it.

Finny's getting hitched? Hey, hey. Wonder if there will be bloodshed. I hope so. Sounds like the place to be this Sunday evening.

She pins the note back up and glides off, her step curiously graceful.

Yes, even the mighty Karkarov had a tear in his eye, at this wedding (although it might have been the result of my unrestrained jabbering about fish oil and wet wedding dress contests).

However, the bride, after falling in the pond, dried out almost instantly and the wedding proceeded without incident. The few Alliance who showed up stood in the back, and there was no violence. I had to go to Hillsbrad afterwards for that.

There was no reception, nor any cake, other than the usual Kodo cakes that taurens seem to leave everywhere they ride. There were no drinks, other than the pond water. One thing I will say, Fhenrir needs to learn how to throw a party. However, he did snatch himself a wonderful gal, and she must love him a lot to be willing to take on the last name Phoenix.

Congrats to the lovely bride, Kaliera, and her handsome groom, Fhenrir. May you live always in victory and love.

I couldn't find anyone to cater to the reception, so we didn't have one. If you know someone, by all means tell me now that it's over.

Also, I ride a wolf, not a kodo...

I am very sad that i could not make it, if you would mvoe it to a Saturday it would be more accessible. On that note I know a priest that may be more than willing to wed another couple. He has experience. If we could set up a meeting please do contact me.

Lupa

Lupa wanted so very much to attend the much publicized wedding of Fhenrir and Kaliera. However, she knew that invitations were sent to Alliance cities. Lupa didn't want to chance running into Barke and Lovely, not at a wedding of all places.

As it was, "the Voice" would not let her. It had other plans for Lupa, which involved an assault on Zul'Gurub. "The Aspects must be liberated from the influence of Hakkar. Liberated, or eliminated if need be," the Voice told her.

So with a band of 19 other Citadel clansmates, Lupa entered the den of the Soulflayer, while a world away two souls joined together as one in love.

Her thoughts were with them throughout the battle..

*pokes Fhenrir*

Don't worry, someday you'll get used to my sense of humor.

I also wanted to attend, but could not get on to do so.

My congradulations to both of you.
