Just wanted to say that if anyone has an issue with a member of Just Pro (New guild that contains most of the old Red Sector A members) interrupting/disturbing an RP Event, etc... to let me know. I am 1 of the guild's 4 "raid leaders", and was made guild master last night.

P.S. Yes I know the name is lame. Unfortunately a GM said it wasn't eligible to be changed due to it falling within the required ruleset. O_o

The only reason I'm posting this is because I want to make sure people have someone to talk to if there is an issue. I personally don't want JP to have the same public rep as RSA... (Read: Hated) and will do what is needed to avoid that. I don't anticipate any problems... just saying, in case something DOES happen, let me know and I'll take care of it.

As for the raid progress post... JP did kill Cairne. A few days ago. RSA did it a few months ago. I was at both. :D

I remember back in the early days when the name <Red Sector A> was something to be feared. The name itself was intimidating. Combine that with the fact that they always traveled in packs and ganked ya while ya had mobs on ya, and ya got one scary guild. I never cared whether y'all RP'd; from the Horde perspective RSA were THE villains of the Alliance.

Most of those folks are gone. All the scary ones, at least, except Tati.

You'll never get that kind of respect or fear, which IMNSHO is billions of times more valuable than a full class set of epix, with the name "Just Pro".

Get as many on voice-chat as you can. Tell them you're reforming. Send letters to those not online and explain what you've done so they don't freak out and think you ditched them.

It isn't that hard. Don't lose your greatest weapon just because some idiot gave you a lame guild name.

As for my problems with Just Pros? Hehe, do you really wanna get me started? :P

Outside of Milesd trying to price gouge me on a +55 healing enchant (55g for my alt, I supply the mats. Fortunatly I kept looking and found one for free) and just the fact that Stryke is still in it nothing comes to mind. :P It was nice having everyone from JP I ran into in IF last night /cheer or /hug me. It's good to know that people are not bitter that we left.

I will say that you're moving in the right direction. And you guys even PvP every now and then. If some of this stuff would have happend a couple of months ago I'm sure I'd still be there.:cry: Keep it up and who knows what'll happen? Maybe we'll see an RP event hosted by JP?

I would love to second this, Grisch. I really would. I've got nothing but respect for Northface. Problem is, and I think it's been mentioned already, nobody should have to pre-emptively apologize for their guild.

I don't see anything apologetic, rather, it's a statement of intent to work toward being a better guild.

Regardless of what happend in the past, taking the time and having the backbone to basically say: "We want our members to act like decent human beings, if you see the opposite let me know so I can rectify it." That's commendable.

Truthfully I had no issue with RSA other than that one time they were forming a raid at Thorium point while I happened to be there and it took them the better part of an hour and I was no where near the FP and my stone had 40 minutes to go on it.... yeah.


So far no issue with just pro. I think the whole gank and camp thing is mostly avoidable. Like stay out of lights hope chapel for example ;p.

I just wish I could get Hordies to understand that JP owns Thorium Point. We've had a BRD group and an LBRS group fall apart due to the group flying on to the Point only to be killed and camped the moment they land. Both times, I'd landed at Kargath and rode on to Blackrock unmolestered.

And that's not a complaint about camping. I kill and camp on a regular basis and expect the same in turn. You'll not find me whining about camping ever.
