They left the beach without a word to eachother. He would stop and look back when he had a chance but did not make any motion or say anything. They climbed out of the water and he watched as she went towards the inn. Letting out a sigh he looked back at the water. It had been a good night but the end had taken him back a bit and set him on his heels.

He made his way through the inn not saying anything. His mind was in another place as he walked across the maze that is Booty Bay. Pausing a second as he passed by the troll he let out a sigh and waved his goodbye.

Barke didn't look back as he crossed the small bridge and as he started to cross the next one that would take him to the gryphon master he could not help but stop and watch her. Letting out another sigh he continued on his way through the inn.

"Where ye want ta go?" The griffon master spoke and held out his hand.

Barke dropped some coin into the outstretched hand and muttered, "Stormwind."

He climbed slowly onto the griffon and was on his way. His mind wandered again back to the beach and the troll until he was suddenly pulled from his daze by the Stormwind griffon master. The griffon master politely asked Barke to get down and he complied and bowed to the man. Turning around he made his way towards his usual spot. No one was around and it was dark out. He was hoping Rhowen would be there so he could ask her about the troll but it seems it was to remain a mystery to him.

Barke let out another sigh and sat down on the stairs leaning back as best as he could against the hard steps. His eyes slowly shut and he dreamed of the troll again but the dreams were not pleasant. His eyes opened again. He eyes wandered around to the few people who were still milling about. He understood what she had been trying to tell him but he did not care.

Thinking brought doubts to him. Maybe it was just a thing, maybe it was not real. Shaking his head and waving off the thoughts that came to him. It was real. The touch was real. The excitement was real. Sighing again he let his mind wander back to the moments spent in eachothers arms.

As he sat in the dark doorway he only regretted not knowing her name.

The ghoul dropped to the ground with a loud sickening thump. Its head was tossed to the side without another thought. For him this was routine. He had come out here to Andorhal in hopes that a hunt would keep his mind off recent events but even while he fought the mindless walking dead out here here his mind wandered. He managed to keep his friendship with the lady paladin despite his activities the night of the party. Stalking towards his next target he thought back to that night again. For some reason he could not get his mind off of it. He shook his head and went after the skeleton. Jumping onto the shoulders of the walking pile of bones he deftly pulled the head off and jumped off the body. He held the head in his hand and landed lightly next to the fallen skeleton. He stared at the skull for a moment before sighing and dropping it to the ground. His thoughts wandered again....

He quietly said the name Rhowen had given him, "Lupa...." He had the name. Rhowen had offered to write a letter in Lupa's language but he had held off on it until now. Thinking maybe it was just lust that night and having his doubts about how the night ended.

This was not a very good distraction for him. Having been here hunting aften it was still just routine. Nice and simple but still just routine. Hours had passed before he started to make his way back to the camp. He had his collection of undead parts to turn into the Argent Dawn like they asked and paid him for and he absently turned everything over to them and recieved the payment they had agreed on.

The flight back to Stormwind seemed to take forever. In flight he thought of what choices he had, what the possible outcomes would be and how much risk he would be putting both of them in. It was as he entered the forest outside of Stormwind that he realized what he should do. He has been playing it safe up until that night. He took a chance and went with his emotions enjoyed qualities of life he had neglected. That woman was more than lust to him. If it was just lust he would not feel this way.

He sat on the steps in the doorway once again letting his thoughts drift off. He would wait until he found Rhowen.

The air was thick as usual in the Plaguelands. The smell of death filled his senses as he stalked across Andorhal. He was taking frustrations out on the undead up here as usual. These were the things that feel his problems as much as himself. Guilt had spread into him. There is no way he should have been talked into it. Not now.

He let out a howl and crushed the bones of the skeleton he had been fighting. The body fell apart and he dropped the small pieces he held to the ground. Guilt was not the only thing he was feeling. He was full of energy. He knew that what had happened was nothing he should be worrying about. He had given a letter to her to be re-written and sent out to his lover. Anticapation made it impossible for him to sleep. Made it impossible to relax. He had let everyone know where he was goin' to be. He was trying to kill time until someone brought word to him.

Quietly he went at the next skeleton. It turned and swung its axe at his head. He deftly backstepped out of the axes reach and took a step forward to strike at the skeleton when his back bursts into flames. He looked back and saw and undead warlock starting to cast another another spell. Barke's eyes went wide. No! This is not happening right now. He spun around and took the head off the skeleton turning back in full sprint running at the warlock. He felt the heavyness of a curse on his body. His eyes narrowed and he howled again. Running up the warlocks body his foot slammed into the face of the warlock. He landed ontop of the warlock his adrenaline rushing through his body. Punch after punch he landed on the walock. Even after the warlock had died Barke was still beating the corpse. There was not much of a head left by the time he came to his senses again. He backed away slowly staring at the body.

Too much was going on at once. Too many things to cause stress. He badly wanted to see her again.
