Seriously, it's to be expected in the new starting zone, what with the absurd popularity of Blood Elves. Throw a bunch of newbs and n00bs together and voila! Instant Barrens Chat! Add alliance rerollers for extra flavour...

Personally I think it's not quite as bad as the Barrens, since there's no equivalent to Crossroads being constantly under attack, and you don't level there as long. Plus, the trees are pretty, unlike the repetitive sand and rock outcroppings...

I still find it hilarious when people cross from the Barrens into Thousand Needles and are like "YES! I'm finally OUT OF THE BARRENS! I was losing my MIND!"
