Tabi

Tabi's chest heaved as Kimiji left the inn. His eyes burned and threatened to burst as his hands gripped the lengths of his hair tighter, shoving his forehead farther against the table top.
A once familiar hand reached up and stroked his chin in a calming fashion, music began to fill his ears and the inn gave way to shadows. They moved around him and hands brushed over his body as they carried him away from Silvermoon. He remained curled in a tight ball.
Slowly, the hands stopped moving and they gathered slowly before him. A beautiful Dark Trolless formed and she bent and held him lightly.
"There There." She culled soothingly, her voice a mixture of whispers and forgotten melodies. "It's not your fault that this happened."
The trolless ran her finger over his cheek, petting him lightly. Tabi looked up at her, his eyes swollen and distant. The trolless placed her cheek to his and nuzzled him lightly.
"He's the one to blame for this. He turned her against you." The shadowy hands returned and began to pet him. "He wants her all for herself."
She breathed heavily into his ear, his eyes faltering and shutting tightly. He curled back into the ball slightly. She continued to pet him lovingly.
"You should have killed him when you had the chance, like I told you to do. Like I told you this would happen." She pulled him closer to him, into a tight embrace and he slowly unraffled and hung limply in her arms as she nuzzled his face and pet him. "I'm not mad you know, about turning against me. I understand you just did it because, he turned you against me."
Tabi hesitated before wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tightly, burying his face into her chest and weeping heavily. The trolless scooped him up in her arms and shushed him softly.
"It's not too late, you know. He has enemies. Enemies who would do anything to get back at him. Others whom he turned her against." Tabi looked up at her words, his face wet with tears. "You kow what you must do."
She smiled sweetly at him and he slowly nodded before burying his face back into her chest.
"Thank you... my mistress."
