The Horde, curse their green, hairy, tusky or boney hides, have a thread about creating a high-quality raiding "LFG" channel.
1) Does the Alliance already have one of these?
2) If not, could we make one?
3) Would people participate if there were one?
I suspect a number of us are in the same boat: behind the 60s that are raiding tier 1 dungeons and trying to get our tier 0 stuff to get into tier 1 dungeons. Also: there are a number of people with characters in the middle ranges that may like to level up together. I know The Steel Brotherhood has many lower level people that have a hard time finding TSB group their own level.
It sounds like a good idea, so I thought I'd bring it up for Allys as well.
(I'd have to take myself out of the running to moderate the channel if we do decide to create one: upcoming RL events may severely cramp my play time.)
Vuudu, the Horde member who's original idea this is, proposed the following rules governing their channel:
(1) Your guild leader must approve. This isn't a onesy-twosy thing. Either your guild is down with it, or it isn't.
(2) Your guild is accountable for your actions. If a mage from <Insert Guild Name> starts ninja looting on a raid, and generally acts like an ass, the guild leader WILL be contacted, and your guild's participation in HQLFG will be in jeopardy. We all have to be confident of the quality of people in HQLFG.
(3) The raid leader sets the rules. This applies to looting as well as RP. If a Grim is running a group to Stratholm, the raid may be RP-only and standard need/greed. If someone from <Insert Guild Name> is running a group through LBRS, it may be No-RP, Teamspeak req., Master Looter. Your participation in the raid is your consent to abide by the rules.
