The Debate of Fate (RP EVENT)!!!!!! | 12/5/2005 3:38:37 PM PST
I am Brothergrim the Frostwolf Brotherhood's Co-leader.I have heard in certain circles that Zusteakai our other Co-leader is trying to turn our order into a military unit.I confronted Zusteakai last night about the rumors. Not only are the rumors true but he has become a zealot for his war waging ways.He would like the brotherhood to become a military unit ready to strike alliance targets at will.I feel we should remain on our chosen path as our lore dictates we will protect our homeland and our allies but we have no need for a military unit until thrall himself deems it so.
I think this could become a rolling stone that could not be undone.I know we currently fighting the alliance in many parts of our world even invasions into our homeland but to form a military unit for invading alliance towns even killing young allaince and to laugh about it is not our way and doesn't bring any honor to our brotherhood.
Zusteakai feels the more we invade there homelands and detour there young season warriors and kill there civilians the longer it will take then to build a force.
This could bring war upon not only our Brotherhood but our allies in the nether council. This is not a half-hearted decision. I would like to hold a small debate with Zusteakai upon this subject. All are welcome and hope some of our allies come to help decide the fate of our guild
((Thrall's Chamber Saturday Night 9:oopm 12/10/05 the majority rules the fate of our guild is in your hands!!!!!)) http://www.geocities.com/wow_frostwolf/
-ZusteakaiEdit: This will be realm time, hoping thats what you meant when you siad fix the time.

((Nice, Zusteakai. Place it in the wow forums and our own too. The point of view of both sides will make it interesting. You and Brothergrim can always call upon me for help if needed))
Traditionaly the Frostwolf Brotherhood are dedicated to honorable combat. This means that we meet our foes in equal terms and would never attack and kill those who cannot defend themselves (lowbies) or group kill a single oponent.
But since the Alliance does not follow a similar Honor code (and most of the Horde also do not). A faction lead by Zusteakai belives that we must change to more agresive ways in order to compete and survive.
On the other hand, Brothergrim (due to his previous experiences with conquering his rage and almost falling completly to the bloodlust) believes that such a path would only lower us to the same level as the dishonorable Alliance scum. He feels that if we follow Zusteakai's path we will distance ourselves from Thrall's and The Frostwolf Clan's teachings and degenerate to something like the Old Horde and eventualy choose a path of complete dishonor and worse.

The Debate of Fate has concluded.
Our Thanks to Falacy of Decimate fore mediating and to all people who showed up for the event and helped us choose our path.
Very Special thanks to GM who helped to control the Jerks of Infamous who were attempting to ruin the event. You have certainly revitalized our faith on all GMs in this realm.
An RP description/story based on the outcome will be posted soon.

OOC:
I personally am blacklisting them.. so are many in the Grim. That was the sorriest display I have seen in some time.
Added Infinite Ignore and Improved Ignore tonight after the event ended.
They will get no healing or money from me now, since those addons show on the AH as well.
Good job tonight despite their best efforts to ruin it. You all held your composure and did the community justice. :D

Thanks for your support, Snowfeather. It is realy horrible how those kind of people can join up with each other and even form large guilds so easialy. Apparently they all called on each other to pursposely ruin the event, but thankfuly the GM was there to help us, but like you mentioned before we were lucky.
I always encourage my guilldmates to consider those types of people present while preparing and organising an event and to do their best to ignore them, but some started to spam the /say chat using macros and blocking our talk and I was about to pause the event in order to setup a /Raid group that we could continue it using our own channel, but thankfuly the GM stoped them.
It does anger and sadden me that people like that exist, but unfortunately they are a part of life, specialy in WoW. Due to its popularity WoW has the worse online community of any MMOG and even though TN has one of the better player communities, it is still preety bad overall.
We will have more events and try to figure out better ways to keep griefers from ruining them, we will not be intimidated out by lifeless thugs.

I hope that the GM banned those people since it is against the rules of RPPvP to harass Roleplayers. If not, then WoW is lost to RPers as there is no safe haven, and no rule enforcement.
Could someone please post a list of names so that I can add it to my personal blacklist, or do I just need to blacklist all of Infamous?

Arrggh! I'm so sorry I had to leave. Did anyone try asking Rylai to get her guildies under control? I know at least a few worthwhile members of that guild. I'm curious as to whether an officer was present or it was just random asshats.

It's worse than you think. Rylai was one of the people there that were trying to disturb the event.

Well, I personally reported them, and recorded each of their names on the ticket. It seems that they may have had their chat functions disabled during the event, as they didn't say much, or anything at all, after Burknaz, the GM who came to moderate the event, showed up, or something, since he was invisible.
Oh, crap, all this stuff I'm posting is meant to be out of character, just to let everyone know.

Were Mava or Cwybsk in on this mischief? Those are the two I consider to be friends. Mava's a heck of an RP'er when she feels like it and Cwybsk is a heck of nice fellow despite a bit of a language barrier. I couldn't imagine either of them doing this, though anything is possible.
This makes me very sad. I've stuck up for Infamous when folks were raggin' on 'em because they've always been really nice to me.

OOC:
I don't remember all the names, but I decided it doesn't matter.
There were about 6 of them in total.
I added Infinite Ignore to my add-ons and I have added EVERY SINGLE member to my list. I will NOT buy from them or trade with them .. I've never spoken with them.. and now I never will have to.
All their emotes are blocked and all speech and every item they sell on the AH is in red. As soon as I log on I check who needs to be added.
What irritated me the most was these fools who had FlagRSP running that said
"In character at all times"
"Looking for Contact"
So, I guess I am to assume that your character is the village idiot and you are looking for the wrong kind of attention.. check. Contact with .. my hoof in your ass? What?
I have heard that some of their members left when they found out, but I can't confirm it - nor do I care.
Now, I'm blissfully ignorant of their existence. No groups for them with our guild either. Sorry charlie.

It's the same with me, I've enjoyed the presence of some of their members, but with even such a flagrant display by their guild leader, I'm not sure what to make of the whole guild anymore.
But people that are sure to make it on my ignore list: Rylai, Rule, Tazz, Grep
And now I find out that this is not the only time that Infamous has been a pain. Last night, they had Tazz use a Mark of Shame to spam the Local Defense channel, and then Bodhi spammed even more about "Alliance attacking," "20 rogues" and other stupid things which I decided to let everyone know wasn't true.
