How do you go to the "view recent posts" or "posts since last visit" and all those (options we had on the other forums)

In the search menu there is a "New Posts" option. Does that work for you?

hmm... in the default skin there is a "Quick Menu" that has links to all that stuff.

I'll see if I can modify the new skin to show that menu too...
