Yes, I'm to lazy to cut and paste. But what are your thoughts.. The hot topic of the hour would be the new 10 minute rule for honor.
I don't know about you all, but I have always enjoyed the longer WSG games, but how many really last longer than 10 minutes?
*sigh* This will be interesting to say the least.

edit: Clarification, although I'm not sure it is any better. It is early and I still need my coffee.

It'll cut down on the honor farming and AFK'ing, that's for sure.
I'm more interested in the holiday events coming up.

Most of the BGs I've been in have lasted longer than ten minutes (both WSG and AB at this point). I'm not seeing that big a change there.
I am looking forward to the new holiday stuff! Very exciting! New decorations, some new faction quests, mistletoe (Morticia, I'm looking at you! :) ... ok more like 8O ).

I had heard a rumor that they were going to make a person who /afk's out of a bg unable to sign up for a new one for 15 mins.
I wonder if they decided against that idea, or if it was just a rumor.
If this solution will fix the /afk-ers who think they'll make more honor from the next battle, then I'm all for it. It really irritates me when I wait 1/2 hour + to get into a BG to find the game almost over and after 5 mins or so it ends and I get to wait another 1/2 hour for another BG.

just for you Zusteakai:
Patch 1.8.4
Battlegrounds
Battles must now last at least ten minutes after the start of the battle in order for the losing team to receive a Mark of Honor.
World
New quests for the Feast of Winter Veil have been added! See your Smokywood Pastures customer service representative in Ironforge and Orgrimmar for more details!
The level of many of last year's Feast of Winter Veil quests have been adjusted so that reputation rewards are available in their full amount for players of all levels able to do them.
Fixed a bug with both versions of the quest "A Smokywood Pastures' Thank You!" that was sending mail out immediately rather than on the intended delay.
In a startling discovery, Mistletoe sold on last year's vendors is now named "Fake Mistletoe". A Smokywood Pastures spokesman was quoted as saying, "Sorry, no refunds."
Some of the Southsea Dock Workers that were working under the boat should now be much more accessible to players.
Andre Firebeard no longer has a chance of dropping a Wastewander Water Pouch.
All OOX Distress Beacons are now multi-drop; everyone in a group should be able to receive one if it drops.
Fixed a bug with Oglethorpe Obnoticus' gossip where he was being much more familiar with strangers than he should have been.
General
Various preparations added to the client for Patch 1.9.

For the most part, I don't think it'll matter much since BGs have been going for 30 minutes or longer. However, I do worry about the 10-19 WSG games because on either side, we have twinked out characters who can and do win a game under 10 minutes more often than not.

Yeah, this is gonna kill 10-19 WSG. I played there on my alt with a couple new guildies last night and none of our matches went 10 minutes. Guess that just means there's even more incentive to win!

Ruins Warsong Gulch, but I hate it anyway.
