“Dwarves of Iron stop yer dreamin'
Can’t ye see their spear points gleamin'?
See their warrior pennants streamin'
To this battlefield

Dwarves of Iron stand ye steady
It cannot be ever said ye
For the battle we’re not ready
Stand and Never Yield!

Off the hills reboundin'
Let this song be ever soundin'
To the mighty force surroundin'
Summon all to Iron’s call

Dwarves of Iron onto Glory
This will ever be your story
Keep these fighting words before ye
Ironforge Never Yields!”

Oh Hail, Ironforge Regiment!

Oh hail, Ironforge Regiment!
The king of battle, heavensent.
Nothing in this life's for free,
Bought with the blood of you and me.

A Regiment soldier takes a knee.
He says, "My lass, please marry me.
Over the sea's where I must go.
When I'll come home, well I don't know."

Oh hail, Ironforge Regiment!
The king of battle, heavensent.
In my heart I have no fear,
For my Battle God is near.

Twenty years have come and gone.
He left his wife, but not alone.
His little girl is now all grown,
Regiment axe to call her own!

Oh hail, Ironforge Regiment!
The king of battle, heavensent.
Nothing in this life's for free,
Bought with the blood of you and me.

She says, "My ma, I love you so.
But over the sea's where I must go."
Says her ma, "I've heard it before,
When your father went off to war."

Oh hail, Ironforge Regiment!
The king of battle, heavensent.
In my heart I have no fear,
For my Battle God is near.

Not sure. Found something similar to it a while back and heavily adapted it.

Anyone else have anything other then Manus' dabooo?

It's men of harlech

There have been about a million filks and variations on the lyrics, in part because the original lyrics are welsh. This site has a midi of the melody
http://www.castlewales.com/menhar.html

Edit: I dunno, when I sing it in my head, it doesn't seem so.. British Butler to me. More.. celtic raider. MAybe because I consider myself a Celtic Fridge-Raider?

Anyone else have anything other then Manus' dabooo?

That just happens to be a line off a very infamous Orcish Sea Chanty that was our "Anchor's Away"--As the Kul Tirisians would put it--of the Orcish Navy that ravaged the Great Sea for decades.

We'd all get slobbenly drunk on saltwater ale, and sing 'til we puke!

Good times...

“Dwarves of Iron stop yer dreamin'
Can’t ye see those ale mugs gleamin'?
See their foamy liquids streamin'
To the dirty floor?

Dwarves of Iron stand ye unsteady
Tremblin' fingers, eyes all red, ye
Dinnae need ta go ta bed, so
Drink until ye drop!

Off the very walls reboundin'
Let yer heads be ever poundin'
And yer voices always soundin'
A drunken, dwarven song!

Dwarves of Iron onto Glory
This will ever be your story
Keep these drinking words before ye
Ironforge Never Sobers!”
