So anyways, I was bored and had some time to kill, so I thought I'd farm a little cash in SM. Normally when I do this I kill every single thing in Cathedral.

Well, on this particular run, I get asked to go to Strath or Scholo or something or other after clearing the first hallway. So I figure, I'll just run in, kill the boss, and the trip to SM won't be a total loss.

I get in the main building, sneak by the 50billion mobs inside and take a whack at Mograine.

At which point, I come to understand why everyone always clears the room.

Haha.. I remember when I was leveling into the 40's, I was on an SM run that really wasn't going too well. We had a guy who was leading the group who was the proclaimed "master" of SM, he purported to have run SM at least a couple dozen times, etc.

Well, we get to the end, we're looking at Mograine, and we haven't cleared either of the side halls. The group leader says that he's really tired of this run, so he feels that we should just go ahead and not clear the sides.

On my druid, I tend to run out unstealthed out of SM armory and sometimes I got too cocky and forget to run through the first hallway stealthed so I get more of a headstart when I use dash. Most of the time I get out of there nice and fine with like 50% HP or less, other times they might daze me or a HoJ actually lands and I start to get killed by oh... 40 mobs.. all at once.

Man, do those guys run fast.

I usually solo Razorfen Downs for quick cash. SM is just too big, and nearly all the mobs run once you get them to low health, and pulling another group of three 40 elite mobs tends to take its toll on durability.

Hehe. If hadn't been laughing so hard (I seriously had tears streaming out my eyes I was laughing so hard), a vanish probably would have worked.

However the heck much gold a death costs me these days was well worth the price for the screenshot ^^

I've never done anything like that because, dammit, I'm too methodical and anal to have that much fun. I always clear first. If I'm going through an area by myself, I always hang to the right and make a circle. Going through a maze? I always hug the right wall. I'm told being compulsive is a sickness. I think it's just being very, very organized.

On the note of SM runs gone bad, though... On our old server, Xigo (60 NE warrior), Rune (60 gnome rogue) and I (50 NE hunter) were doing a cash run through Library. We actually planned to do all four sections, and had already done Armory, I believe. Anyway, sounds like a super easy time, with three people of that level, right? *ahem*

At around the second part of the hallway or so, Xigo and I realize that we are less one gnome, but his energy bar is depleating. The next events went something akin to as follows:

[Party] [Laushin]: Hey! We wanted in on that too!
