History: Itakae was born to nomadic, pacifistic parents, and spent her childhood traveling around the world with them, and also a Kaldorei pair and their child. When she was very young, her parents were killed by bandits in the place now known as the Plaguelands, and Itakae and her Kaldorei friend were saved by two tauren, a shaman and a druid. The druid took the Kaldorei to Moonglade and raised her as a druid, and the Tauren took Itakae back to Sen'Jin village, and trained her there in the ways of the Shaman. Due to her friendship with the Kaldorei child, Itakae speaks a fair amount of Darnassian.
Itakae was married very young to a Revantust Voodoo Priest named Zenijin, unfortunately, he was killed only months after their marriage. Itakae still holds out hope that she will meet him again some day, be it in the afterlife, of a glimmer of his spirit in another male troll.
She is, above all, a wanderer. Her loyalties are to her friends rather than her faction, and she believes firmly that factions do not define who her friends are. Ever the stubborn trolless, she is willing to die for her beliefs, but not kill for them.
In the past, she was often seen with a dwarf from Tirisfalen, Haldren Strongbrew, now of Ebon Banner. There has been no word if the two have been seen together since his return from a long absence.
After recently discovering that her Mate was not killed in a far away place, but not far from her home in the hinterlands, Itakae has sworn revenge on the Wildhammer Dwarves for his murder, and fallen into an irrational mindset of hatred and violence.
