*A bulliten is posted on tavern walls in all Horde and Goblin towns.*

Let it be known on the seventh day of this month Melar Danashj rode forth against the Alliance in it's home.

Forces assembled in Hammerfall near 2300 hours. When grouped they advanced into the Wetlands and razed the docks of Menethil Harbor. Upon arrival of the ship to Auberdine they ventured onward. Many fell on the docks, more fell on the deck of the vessel. Upon reaching Auberdine they killed all on hand and captured the ship to Azuremyst Isle.

Their landing, lead by Captain Caspaen Dawntreader and the Thorje Nasuj, met no resistance. MD units advanced along the coast and executed Admiral Odesyus, Alliance Naval Command; and the entire logging camp. The ships in harbor were set ablaze as the agressors rode on.

The town of Azure Watch fell with light resistance as well. Most fled in terror before the blood-stained bootheel of these soldiers. Their attention next turned East to Amen Vale. MD met it's first challenge here, the guards of this small town. Once their appetite for blood slackened the moved North to Blood Watch.

Blood Watch was scarcely populated. Melar Danashj had to settle for slaying the Hippogryph Master. Upon completion of this assault the force moved back to it's landing, passing the Exodar on the way and leaving a blood smeared message which read, "Next time we'll burn it to the ground."

The highlight of the endeavour was a lone Human warlock that made a valliant, yet foolish, stand against the victorious Horde. A Night Elf rogue later joined, but was layed down next to the warlock swiftly.

Captain Dawntreader issued this bulliten accompanied by this message, "The whole time we did lay waste to Alliance lands the alleged Honor Guard did not rear it's cowardly head. Melar Danashj spits on their spun tales of defense."

I saw the notice while in Ratchet on my way to speak to Strahad Farsan. It made me stop and think. I had not known what to make of Melar Danashj before, but for an organization that used to be an insane asylum they do not seem incompetant. Something to consider...

Vilmah looks at the notice, and her heart sinks. Daala had gone to this guild. She thought that perhaps Daala would bring some sense to them, to teach them that these raids and murders would bring nothing more than pain and mysery to both sides. Why would they do this? What did they have to prove?

"I don't understand.." she murmured sadly.

She'd seen the bulletin in Booty Bay. It was really only chance that the paper fluttered in the sunny summer wind and caught her eye. Tearing it from the wall she read of the attacks with growing horror. She had not even heard of this Melar Danashj, what had inspired this bloodletting? Carefully she folded the paper and stowed it away in her satchel, then she was gone.

Thaena arrived at the Exodar already weary from buring the dead in Menethil and Auberdine. She stood before the spattering of blue and red ichor. She read the words that had been painted there. Shaking her head she turned and made her way to Azure Watch. The dead there had to be buried, and then she would seek out the Inquisitor. One more name on a list.

Cold wet rain. At least it was outside the cavern. Still inside it was damp and stuffy. Here and there spiders skittered away in search of some insect prey.

The Scorpid didn't have long to wait. Soon the telltale thickening of the darkness told it that its guest had arrived. Silent as always, the One in Shadow simply stood and waited. Not that any face was seen or any feature that could be identified. He, or she for that matter, was simply a darker stain against the dark of the cave.

The Scorpid cleared its throat and made its report.

" The warning was supposed to be delivered early, I know. This was unexpected. I only just learned of it. No time to evacuate civilians.

The primary target from what I gather was neutralized early on, but the force continued on into the interior."

The Scorpid waited for a response. Silence.

" I will understand if the retaliatory strike also comes without warning. But I will trust our agreement still holds. You know how to reach me if needed. "

The Scorpid paused to see if some word would come from the One in Shadow. It was rare that the One answered .....

The Black Hawk thought to stay silent, but such a wound to their arraingemnt could not be left to bleed out. The words crept into the dark air like a serpent, crawling across the black space to the huddled form on the floor.

Your arrival says much to your intent, late as it may be. More innocent blood will not wash away mistakes already made.

Stay close. You will be summoned if revenge is planned.
