Maegannon shuffled through the mound of paperwork in front of her, and sighed. She pulled a peice of paper from the top of the stack, and signed her name to the bottem. She turned it over, and reached for another. The candle beside her flickered, and she yawned. Another all night session of paperwork, followed by a day filled with reports, filing, and more filing.
The bed beside her moved, and snorted. She smiled, watching the Dwarf who lie there grunt in his sleep. She loved the pants off Gralin, and she was ever- greatful that he was still putting up with her, even after all this time. She looked down at the paper in front of her, and sighed. It was time for a stretch.
She stood and walked onto the balcony of her two story townhouse. She closed her eyes, and let the moonlight wash over her. She took a deep breath of the fresh air comming off the trees in the park, and smiled. Below her, near the moonwell, a pair of lovers walked hand and hand, the young woman's head upon her man's shoulder. Maegannon sighed.
"I'm sorry.. I guess I haven't been a very good student as of lately.. I haven't been much of a wife either."
"Wot'sat woman?" Gralin grumbled from behind her, rubbing his eyes with a bulky fist.
Mae jumped, turning away from the open expance of the park. "Did I wake you honey? I'm sorry." wraping her arms around the short man, "I just couldn't sit there any longer. Lets go to bed."
"No, ye didn't wake me, woman. 'Was havin' a terrible dream 'bout runnin outa ale and bein' chased by owlbeasts. Wot are ye doin' out here?" he said, twisting away from his wife to get a better look at her. He frowned, though you could hardly tell through his thick beard. She looked pale and slightly overweight. It worried him.
"Nothing, just appoligising to Elune and Nature for being a piss-poor student. I should appoligise to you, as well, love.. I know I haven't been much use lately.. all this paperwork is killing me." She sighed, and sat on the little bench in the corner of the small balcony.
"Wot in sam hill are ye talkin' about woman? Ye've plenty of use, an'a dun wanna hear another word 'bout it, ye hear me?" Gralin shook a fat finger at her, grinning widely. "Ye jus' gotta lot on ye plate at tha' moment. It'll git better, jus' hafta wait'n'see."
"I guess.. there is just so much to see and expore with the opening of the portal and our being able to travel to outlands.. and I'm missing it because of paperwork." She made a face, spitting the word out as if it tasted bad in her mouth. "You're missing it too.. you know that you don't have to stay here with me. You've got to be itching to go poke something with that ugly staff of yours."
"HEY, its no'ugly!"
Mae giggled, "You know what I mean."
Gralin sighed and plopped himself down next to his wife. "Aye, I do. Woman.. I stay here wit' you because I wan'ta, not cause I hav'ta. Ye've got alot'o responsablities now an' someone needs'ta clean tha' house." He chuckled and patted her thigh. "Why dun you take a week off. Tell them ol'stuffy nobles tha' ye need'a vacation. We can go ta' Shattrah and do a little foolin' around." He wiggled his bushy eyebrows at his wife. "Cause ifin ye don't, I will!"
She smiled and hugged her husband tightly, "Alright, I'll tell them in the morning. Lets go to bed.. I feel like i haven't slept in weeks."
"That's cause ye haven't, woman. Now git." and he slapped her on the rear as she headed back through the double doors into their bedroom.

The sun winked at Maegannon through the long, sheer curtain that covered the window to the right of the bed. She grumbled and rolled over, wrapping her arms around the naked dwarf lying next to her. She planted a kiss on the top of his balding head, and sighed contently.
"You've got to be joking." Lescour said, pacing back and forth in the Stormwind library. "You cannot go on "Vacation". You're an ambassador! You have work to do! Papers to file and requests to fill!"
"I'm going. All I've done in the last three months is run back and forth on arrends for you and the 'Circle and I'm TIRED and sick. Look, I've gained nearly 20 pounds! What respectable night elf lets herself gain weight? What kind of druid am I, if I don't spend some time out in the wilds, exploring?!" Mae was furious! How dare this pompous noble tell HER that she couldn't go visit the new city!
"How am I suposed to be an effective diplomat if I cannot even go introduce myself to The Aldor? HMM?"
"We've got people for that. Lord Sanrin for instance, is an effective go between for The Aldor and ourselves."
"Oooh, so its okay for Sanrin to go trapsing across the worlds, because he's male, am I right?"
"Don't you get snappy at me, Woman. I'll have you thrown in the stockades if you keep it up."
"And I could always just go feral and tear your throat out, but what good would that do, save maybe remove a pompous windbag from the world?"
Lescour paused, eyeing the kaldorei with dark eyes, "Are you threatening me, woman?"
Maegannon laughed, "No, I doubt I would ever need to actualy threaten anyone. What I do need though, is a fucking vacation. A week is all I ask. A week away from this city with my husband to recouperate and regain my wits. You know what they say happens to druids if they don't spend time in the wilds, connected to nature, don't you?" she smirked, and to make her act of being confident more effective, she tossed her hair with her right hand. Inside, she was shaking, but she'd never let him know that.
She moved closer, towering over the fragile man.
"Oh, alright. Request granted. Make sure you let the proper people up in Moonglade aware before you leave. If you are one minute, ONE MINUTE, late, you will be answering to Barvo."
"Thank you." She turned and walked out calmly, her head high and her face straight. The very instant she turned the corner, and was sure that she was out of sight, she squeeled and shifted into a more suitable form. She wagged her dark tail, and skittered quickly around the people walking along the streets, in an attempt to get home as fast as her paws could carry her.

Mae yawned. The bed was so comfortable, and she almost regretted that she needed to get out of it to go report to a few different people. Beside her, Gralin snored. It made her giggle as she slid her feet to the floor and stood up. She picked her house coat off the floor and slipped it on, tieing the fuzzy pink material around her naked body.
She yawned again and padded quietly over to the fire place to put a pot of water on, for her morning cup of herbal tea. She scratched at the base of her antlers, grumbling about how they still itched, even after all this time. Sure they looked nice, but if it wasn't challanging enough to try and make love to someone so much smaller then her, the circle thought it hillarious that she had to "wrasssle" around her antlers as well. Bastards.
She sat down at the little two person table, and propped her head up with her right hand.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You're Father stopped by yesterday. I don't know what the two of you did, but he hasn't come out of thoes woods in years. He even brought me some fresh herbs from his garden." Alathea smiled at Maegannon, and then wrapped her arms around her daughter and squeezed. She loved seeing her, and it wasn't very offten that she stopped by. " You're going to Shattrah then? For how long?"
"Well, I was going to go for a week, try and get out and see some sights, but the Circle wants me to go see if I can do anything to help the expedition while I'm out there, so I may end up staying longer. It'll be a nice change from sitting in stormwind all day, doing paperwork, atleast."
"I wasn't going to say anything, but you deffinately need some fresh air and excersise, dear. You're looking a bit ill."
"Thanks, mother." Mae said, trying not to roll her eyes. Mothers! She smiled reguardless.
"Will you bring me back something nice? The Draenei Ambassador has been telling me about her home world, and it sounds beautiful, even if it is only a shadow of its former self. I wish I could come with you, but I've duties to attend here." Alathea sighed, "More tea, Maegannon?"
"No, I'm good, thank you though." Mae giggled. Even after all these years, it still amazed her that her mother refused to shorten her name. They had an argument about it once, and her mother had told her that it was "Unbecomming of a proper lady" to shorten her birth name.
"I've got to get moving. I really only came to get Fathea...I mean.. Fandral's blessing on my little vacation before I left."
"Maegannon! No matter what your personal fealings, its impolite to insult the Arch Druid!"
"Yes mother, I'm sorry."
"Is that what living with humans has done to you?"
"Not at all, Mother, I've always called him that"
"Not around me you haven't, and I'll have you know that if you ever do it again, there will be concequences. You may be all grown up, but I am still your mother, and you are not to old to be scolded!"
"Yes Mother, I'm sorry." Mae tried not to giggle, "I will remeber to watch my tongue."
"Thank you. Now hurry up and finish your tea dear."
Mothers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A knock on the door pulled Mae out of her day dream. It also pulled her out of her chair, and she fell rather ungracefully upon the floor. She giggled and stood quickly, praying silently that Gralin hadn't seen it. He would tease her till kingdom come if he had.
"Door's open!" She said, wandering back to her tea pot, which was now screaming at her to be taken off the fire. She walked back to the table with it, setting it down on the ceramic plate in the center of the table.
"So the innkeeper wasn't lieing, you really are here!" A deep voice said. Mae turned to see two blonde haired human males walk through the door.
"Myrid! Henri! What are you two doing here? Where's Jilli?"
"The better question, is where the heck have you been hiding all this time!" Myrid said, grabbing Mae around the waist and squeezing. "We thought you fell off the face of Azeroth, you and the.. wait.. is he naked?"
Gralin sat straight up in bed. "An' dunchu come back, ye great smelly orc!" and then promptly dropped back down into the mound of pillows.
The three burst out laughing, and Mae offered the two a seat at the small table in their inn-room.
"Mae, what did you do, suddenly learn how to be a rogue? I mean, I know you're a druid, and you can do that sort of thing, but really.." Henri said, making sure not to sit on his daggers.
"Oh I wish. No, they've had me locked up in my house like some kind of prisoner doing paperwork for the last three months. I finaly went and threatened Lescour that If I didn't get some time off, I was going to have to tear his throat out." Mae poured herself a cup of tea, "Tea?"
"No, thank you though" Henri said with a smile. "I'll take some!" Myrid chirped, holding up the cup that was in front of him.
"So What brings the two of you to visit little old me? And you didn't answer my question, Where's Jilli?"
"Jilli is off shopping for some new enchants, and since we didn't have much to do, we've been sort of wandering around. A little birdy told me you were here, so I poked Henri till he agreed to come with me to find out if it was true or not." Myrid took a sip of his tea, and then smiled.
"Neet, I'll have to go find her later and catch up. Goodness it feels like I've been out of the loop for ages! There are so many people here that I don't recognise.. kinda makes a girl feel old, yanno?"
"Not really, no." Henri chuckled.
"What'er ye gits doin here! Dunchu know tha' it be rude ta' come inta' a Dwarf's home when he's nekkid?" Gralin was finaly awake, and standing at the side of the bed, stark naked.
"AH, I'm BLIND!" Myrid said, pulling his arm over his eyes. Henri laughed so hard that he vanished from sight. His laughter could be heard bouncing off the walls of the small room.
"Its whatchu git!"
"Gralin, put your robes on before you kill them."
"AND WHA'S WIT YOU BEIN IN YER NIGHTCLOTHS IN FRONTA' THESE MEN, HUH?"
Mae squeaked, Myrid knocked his tea cup over with his free arm, the one he was trying to also use to cover his eyes... and Henri Fynne just kept on laughing.

Mae stood in front of the small mirror attached to the dressing table. She fluffed her hair, and let the brush she was holding drop to the table with a clunk. She turned her head from one side to another, to make sure it was free of dirt and blemishes. Mae scratched her forehead. Stupid Antlers.
"Are you two ready yet? I've got more important things to do then wait around in an inn all day long, you know" Fynne said from the hallway outside their room.
"You Shuttup, ye git.. dun make me tell Jilliane what ye were up'ta this mornin!" Gralin threatened good naturedly, picking up his Benediction and slinging it over his shoulder.
"Okay.. I'm ready!" Mae yelled, fluffing her hair just one more time, for good mesure.
"Can we come back in now? Grain isn't naked still, is he?" Myrid said, opening the door a crack to peek in.
"Yes, I'm sill nekkid."
"Oh.. well.. "
"Myri I'm jus' kiddin'. Goodness man! Git some balls!"
"Haha!"
"Shut up Henri"
"So how do I look?" Mae asked, straightening her dress and fiddling with the long sleeves. She hated getting all girly, and prefered her battle leathers over cloth dresses. "Terrible, right? Uhg.. Why can't I just go introduce myself to the Aldor in my armor?"
"You look like a girl, Mae. Now stop whining, we're going to be late meeting up with Jilli, and I don't feel like getting hit with a mace" Henri grumbled, dragging Myrid down the hallway. "Lets go!"
"Ye heard tha man, lets move woman. Yer slower than me mum ona all night drinkin' binge!" Gralin said, giving mae a slap on the rear. She squeaked and started down the hallway after the Paladin and the Rogue.
Maegannon stood as still as possible, while Khadgar eyed her and her companions. "So, you're the representitive of the Cenarion Circle I was told about, huh?" He walked slowly around the group, giving each of them a once over. "And who's this that's with you, Mrs. Silverbeard?"
"This is my husband, Gralin, Myridian Sun, and Jilliane and Henri Fynne. I do appoligise if their presence offends you, sir. They are dear friends of mine."
"No no, its quite alright. I'm quite aware of each of them. I've heard some intresting stories in the short time that the portal's been reopened... something about a Dwarf Priest who took it upon himself to stick a staff in the eye of Nefarion... in fact I've heard a few stories about each of you.." Khadgar chuckled, stroking his beard.
"Hope it wasn't anything good" Henri piped in. Myrid snickered. Jilli elbowed Fynne in the ribcage, giving Myrid a glance of death.
"Great smelly thing, Nefarion is, sir! I showed him where 'e could stick'it!" Gralin beamed proudly.
"Yes, I'm sure you did, Master Dwarf. Tell me.. what would bring a Dwarf to marry a Kaldorei woman? I don't know all that much about your kind yet, Maegannon.. but something tells me that its not something normaly done."
Maegannon smiled, "You can't help who you love, Sir. Though I will admit, we do tend to get a few strange looks now and again.. and my father still hasn't gotten over it. For those who know us though, its not strange at all"
"Sure its not"
"Myri!"
Fynne snickered.
Khadgar chuckled. "Well, Thank you for comming to speak with me. I regret that I've much buisness that still needs doing, otherwise I could sit and chat all day long. You should head up to Aldor rise and present yourselves. I'm sure the Draenei would be most intrested to meet you all." He smiled at the small group. "I'll have one of my servents show you the way."
"Thank you, Sir"

CRASH
"Oh.. chht, are you alright?"
Mae shook her fuzzy black head, and grinned her cat faced grin. She stood up, shook the dirt off of herself, and padded silently over to her trainer.
"Alright, good. You got the general idea.. but, you might want to try not running into the wall when trying to stealth around someone." The blonde haired human sighed, fiddling with the hilt of his dagger. "Are you sure you don't want to go ask the 'Circle for help with this, Mae? They'd be a better trainer for you then I would."
Mae sneezed, shifting out of her panther form. Her fur dissapeared, and she wiggled her pink colored nose. "Nope! If I go to the 'Circle, they'll just give me that look, yanno.. the one that says 'Why don't you know how to do this?'."
"You're kidding.."
"No, seriously. I've always just been better at healing and using my connection to nature through my fingers.. sure, when I went through training, I learned all the basics.. but when it became painfully obvious that I have two.. or in this case, four, left feet, they just decided to skip over that part." Mae sighed, stretching her arms over her head. "I guess they just figured I'd pick the rest up as I went.. but you know me well enough to know that I didn't.. "
"Well, you do make a pretty lousey cat, even if you do have the cute and fuzzy thing down pat" The rogue said with a chuckle, "But why me?"
"Because, you're the best. Besides, if you can't teach me, no one can"
"Alrighty.. Do what ever it is you do to switch back, and this time, try not to eat wall"
Mae sneezed, instantly sprouting four paws and black fur. She giggled, which sounded more like a purr and growl mixed, and vanished from sight.
"Okay, I want you to sneek around the back side of the target dummy, and ambush it"
Ambush? Ambush.. oh!
She let forth a litlle snarl as if to say, "k", and snuck as quietly as she could around to the back of the dummy. She lowered her body to as near the ground as she could with out making any noise, lifted her rear, wagged her tail, and pounced. She grabbed the dummy around the neck with her teeth, and shook it.
"Good.. Do it again."
A squirrl ran by. Mae squeaked and pounced on it. She giggled, and brought it back to the rogues feet, dropped it, and purred.
"I ment the dummy."
She sniggled, wagged her tail, and faded from sight again.
"Girls"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
""I dinna know why ye' think ye' need ta be trainin fer combat, woman. Ye ken jus' stand behind me n' heal like ye' always do" Thunderbelly grunted, setting himself down on the steps with a plop next to Maegannon.
"Because Jelly, I need to. I can't rely on other people forever, and besides, with Gralin off running errands for The Aldor, I've gotta be able to protect myself."
"But ye've got me, and Myridian and Fynne are always aroun' ifin ye need'm too"
"I don't really care. If I can't defend myself, what good am I? I don't WANT to spend all my time inside doing paperwork and being useless. I wanna go out and explore the world, see the sights. How can I be sure that someone will be around to save my butt? I can't."
"Well, alrigh', I guess. But please dun go and git yerself killed before I ken atleast see some stuff too."
"I won't."
"Les' go git a drink. There's this tavern here calld Worlds End, an' There be the funniest little elfie there wit a dog. So much fun ta make funna'."
"K"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"MaeMae! Come on!" Myridian tugged at Mae's tail, trying to get her to move.
Mae snarled, and snapped.. she hated it when people pulled on her tail.
"I know its pretty, but you can't just pounce on any little critter that walks by. Besides, that butterfly is bigger then you are. Lets go!"
Mae sneezed. "Oh, Alright. Why are you in such a hurry, anyway?"
"Because we've gotta meet your husband. I don't care how cute you are, that Dwarf of yours scares the piss out of me."
Mae sniggled, then let forth a sharp whistle. Koda, the hulking frost saber, came bounding up, wagging his tail. "Good boy Koda. Come on. Myri says we've gotta stop playing with the butterflies and go to Shattrah to meet Gralin for lunch."
Koda purred, lowering himself so that she could climb on.
"About time.. come on!" Myridian said, climbing onto his armored horse.

Mae sat under a large tree, not unlike the others in Terrokar forrest, and chewed on a blade of grass. She giggled, watching quietly as Koda, her riding sabre, played peek-a-boo with a nearby critter.
Koda crouched low, an amazing feat for a frostsabre of his size, wiggled his tail, and pounced on the furry thing he was stalking. "Gotcha!" He growled, and let it free. He padded quietly back to Ma' and grinned toothfully.
Koda loved Maegannon. She was tall and pretty and show white, like himself. He loved it when she played with him, turned into the fuzzy black feline and talked to him in his own language. He would have mated her, if he could have.
But Elves were silly creatures, and even though he didn't quite understand how Ma' could switch so easily from her normal form to cat, he had long ago accepted that she wasn't of his kind, and it was better to leave elves alone. Besides.. the smelly short man would probably hit him with that big glowie stick if he tried. He'd been tempted to.. just to see the silver-faced smelly man turn red.
Mae wrapped her arms around the Cat's big head and snuggled her face into his fluffy soft neck, "I don't know what I'd do with out you, Koda. Even when everyone else went away, you were always here with me." and she kissed the tip of his nose.
Bah! Elf Kisses! Koda squirmed out of Ma's arms and bounded off. He found a nearby patch of grass and rubbed his nose into it. He turned around at Ma' and wiggled.
Maegannon giggled, then sneezed, sprouting black fur and four paws. She snarrled, "You can't catch me!" and took off running past the hulking white cat.
"Oh yea?!" Koda snarled after her
"Yea!"
Oh, thoes were fightin words! Koda gave Ma' a moment to gain some distance, and then with a powerful thrust, bound off after her. He caught her in just a few long strides, comming up along side the black panther. He nudged her with his head, causing her to tumble sideways into a bush.
"Koda!" Panther Ma' yelled, giggling in her half-purring sort of way. Elves were weird. He slowed down, and stuck his big face into the bush, seeing the face of the pretty Night Elf staring back. On impulse.. which he normaly reserved for things like chewing on fuzzies, or playing bite-the-goat, he lapped at her face.
"EW, Koda!" Mae said, falling to the ground with the power of the cat's tongue. Mae rubbled her face on her sleeve, then jumped up and tackled the cat to the ground.
Koda blinked, and it took him a second to remember that this was Ma' attacking him, and not something to be eaten. He struggled, flipping the elf onto her back and wrapping his teeth around her throat to show her, "I'm the Male!", then, he let go and licked her face again.
"Ug!" She giggled and hugged his fur.
The Elf and the Frost Sabre giggled and got up off the ground, and walked side by side towards Shattrah.

"Good, again" Henri Fynne said, taking a moment to catch his breath.
Mae groaned from the spot on the ground where she had collaped, "Again?"
"Again. You wanted to learn how to fight like a rogue. The only way to get better is by fighting one"
She sighed and pulled an arm over her face. Pain in the ass as he was, Fynne was right. She grumbled, pulling herself off of the ground. With a sneeze and a shiver, she had four paws and a tail.
"Lets go" He said, and dropped the ceremonial dueling flag on the dirt path that circled Shattrah. With a wink, and a toss of thoes beautiful golden locks, he vanished from her sight.
Mae let herself fade into the shadows. She stalked quietly around the now empty path, eyes narrowed for signs of Fynne. She sniffed the air, trying to catch a hint of his distinct smell. Her ear twitched, alerting her of sound of dirt being crushed under foot.
Not quick enough.
Mae snarled out in pain as she felt the twin daggers plunge into her shoulder. She tried to whip around, snapping madly at her attacker, trying to get at him with her claws, teeth.. anything to stop the pain. Her right back paw caught flesh, and she dragged it down, tearing away at the lether armor that protected it.
The daggers retreated, but only momentarily. They were driven into her backbone, causing her to crumple to the ground. Then again, into her front paws.
"You're getting there.. but you need to work on your stealth detection.. also, you move more like a ten ton elekk, then a cat."
Mae snarled, wincing as the daggers were removed from her paws. She sneezed, shifting back.
"Did you have to stab so hard?" She said, examining her blood drenched hands.
"Sorry.. I was going for realism." Fynne said with a tired chuckle, dropping down next to her. "You got me good though, look?" He motioned to his right thigh, which was torn wide open, the white bone exposed through the mass of bloody flesh and torn muscle.
Mae grinned. "Good.. them damn daggers hurt."
"Fix me?"
Mae sat quietly for a moment, tugging at the natural flow of life around her. With a small wave of her broken hand, the wound in Fynne's leg disspeared. Then she focused on herself, first her back and shuolder blades, then her hands.
"We done for now?"
"Yea, I think so. Jilli's waiting for me anyway."

"WILL YE LEAVE ME RAM ALONE, YE GREAT STUPID GIT!" Mae could hear Gralin screaming all the way from the opposite side of Aldor rise as she came to a stop on the elevator.
"Oh no.." and took off running towards their small rented appartment. As the little house came into vew, she could see Koda streeking away from Gralin, who was waving his Staff at him menecingly. "THA' NEXT TIME I KETCH YE BITIN ME RAM IN THA BUTT, IMA SHOW YE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TA HAVE ME STAFF UP YERS!"
"Gralin Silverbeard!" Mae said, comming up along side him, breathing heavily. She had completely forgotten that she could have just shifted..
"Wot! Tha' bloody cat o' yers keeps bitin' me ram! Hi's loosin' his fur in tha back!" he said, huffing, "An' he's sheadin' all over tha place! Why can'ne just sleep outside like the oth'r mounts!?" He motioned over towards his black war sabre, who was sleeping lazily under a nearby tree. "Me cat dun complain 'bout it... an he dun bite me ram, either!" He exclamed, his tanned face flushed red with anger.
"Because he's more then just a riding cat, and you know it!"
"But he dunna sleep inside at home!"
"That's because he spends his time in the park! He doesn't know Shattrath well yet, otherwise I'm sure he would."
"I dunna care. Either he sleeps outside, er you do, woman!" He huffed, shaking a squat fist. "I dinno what ye've been feedin him, but there be white fur all over me robes!"
Koda padded up next to Mae, ears flat to his head. She patted the top of his head, her hand coming away with white and black fur clinging to her leather glove.
She sighed, taking a good look at her hand. "Well.. he is shedding, which is really strange.. Koda, lemme take a better look at you." She kneeled down next to the hulking sabre, running her hand along his back..
"It looks like your loosing your stripes.. maybe we aught to pay a visit to the Riding Sabre trainer in Darnassus.. maybe she'll know whats gotten into you lately."
"S'about time!" Gralin said, "Stay away from me poor old ram, ye fuzzball!"

"Well, ma'am, seeing as he was the runt of that year's litter, I'm not suprised"
"Suprised at what?" Mae stood in front of the wintersaber salesmen, hands on her hips, trying to look disgruntled. She was failing, instead only looking worried as Koda played with the newest batch of riding kittens.
"That its taken him this long to move into full adulthood. The sheading is perfectly normal, all of our sabers lose their stripes eventualy. Usualy sooner then later. We hold a small celebration for the comming of age of each cat, and gift them with a specialy designed set of armor, to protect them from the elements.. we know how rough most of you adventuring types are on your cats.. " The trainer said rather dryly, a smirk on her lips.
"So, this is normal then?"
"Yes ma'am. If you bring him back, in say.. a week or so, his armor should be ready. We'll bathe him, to remove the remainder of the loose hair, and fit him with his armor."
"Alright then, we will be back. Come on Koda! Lets head home!"

Nagrand. The wide, open, green.. free lands of Nagrand. The sun shining brightly, the wind tugging at her hair.. the grass.. green green grass so beautiful that it left her speechless. It stretched out before her in a never ending wave of windswept planes and rolling hills.
She tilted her spotted head, catching the sent of orc through the wind. She knew, all at once, that this was the homelands of the orcs that she knew so well.. that she only slightly disliked, because it was manditory as a soldier of the alliance forces to do so..
Another smell, stronger this time. Orgre. Mae knew that Orgres were not native to her home, Azeroth, but it had never occured to her that they too, came from Draenor, that they were once happy.
She took another wiff, and this time, caught the sent of the legion.. black, burning sulfur and molten steal.. brimstone and fire and all things that smelled like hell. The Dark Iron Dwarves and the Legion had much in common in the way of smells.. and she felt her anger rise, taking the place of the sadness she had felt only moments before.
Even this pure, beautiful, natural land was being tainted by the Legion. The demons of the world had left no corner of this planet safe for young children to run, learn, and grow..
Her own people, and all other peoples of Azeroth, were lucky. Had it not been for the sacrifice of the orcs, of the humans.. and of Furion Stormrage's quick thinking, her own home would be like Draenor.. no, worse..
She let loose the snarl curling at the base of her thoat, just over her heart. It sounded mournful and angry, as the sound of her feline voice carried its self across the planes upon the wind. She dispaired for the Orcs, who she now knew had lost so much of themselves.. she ached for the draenei, who had never truely felt safe..
She sprung from her spot, feet flying through the air as she moved. She needed to run, needed to work off the hatred, the anger.. and the newfound apreication for her enemies.
As she ran, her mind went over and over the same fact, and the very idea of it made her boggle...
"Every single one of us has faced extinction in one form or another.. Orcs and Draenei to the burning legion, just as my own people.. Humans to their plague, which was introduced by an Orc who was controled by the burning legion. Trolls to Murlocks and Nagas.. a result of a power hungry night elf queen corrupted by the Burning legion.
It was only gnomes, dwarves and tauren that escaped them.. and yet even they have faced extinction due to trogs, in-fighting, and centar attacks..
Our whole world was threatened and we managed to save it.. but for how long?"
She ran, harder and faster then her feet have ever moved along the groupd before. She ran for the sadness she felt for all the free peoples of Azeroth. She ran for all the distruction done to the free peoples of Draenor. She ran to burn off the hatred that was threatening to eat away at her broken heart, to protect herself from becomming something worse then the legion.. because she hated them with ever fiber of her being, and it had only grown since setting foot upon the beautiful lands of Nagrand..
The endge of the world loomed up and met her feet. She did not stop. She pulled her muscles back, and sprung, jumping off of the edge of the world.
She screamed, her heart full of sorrow and her head full of hatred. With her very last ounce of energy, she willed herself not to fall into nothing, to die in the abyss that the legion had forced upon Draenor..
.. and she took wings, and flew.
