Whoops, I guess I've displayed my n00biness by making some strange forum name that is seemingly irrelevant the the character(s) I will RP as...... :(

Is this completely against the rules or is it ok to have it like this (I would like to know because I feel very embarrassed for not doing what normally should be done)

Not a problem, just PM Mortica and she can most likely work it out and change your account name.

You should also know that if she changes your name for you, you will likely have to go to your internet security settings and delete your cookies. I just had mine changed recently and could not get into the forums becuase it would auto log me into my former name, but the board would not recognize the name as it was changed (though it would say Welcome deStrasa at the top, it blocked access) and only options given to me were "Log In" and "Log In to read messages" There was no Log Out button on that default screen it zapped me too so I could relog back in as the new name.

So had to delete cookies, then log in with new name. Now all is good.

And if you don't want to change your log in name, you can just make a siggy with your character's name on it. :)
