I was wondering, I as I have two "mains" on TN, and would like to treat them as totally seperate and very different entities, should I:

A. Get 2 accounts for this site (as I already have)

or

B. Just have the two characters on one account

I'm not sure how Journal posting works...this is why I ask. I don't want to post something as my Priest and have it show up as my Warlock. Have I done this the best way possible or...?

PS: Thank you all for the positive feedback on my Journal, and your interest in the Blood Raven RP event this Monday. I'm very happy to have been directed to this site, and look forward to interacting with everyone here. RPers unite!

That's a good question. I have Xeran (Level 45, Human Paladin) and Ajanon (Level 40, Night Elf Hunter) and I use the "Xeran" account to represent both of them. Since I've been playing Ajanon more, I switched to the NE icon and try to make it clear which one is speaking / replying to RP content here.

at this point you need to set up 2 different accounts if you want their journals to show up separately :(

I think you might have to give a different email address in order to register a different name. If you are having problems registering a new nick because of that, just send me an email or PM and I can help you get around that roadblock.

I've thought about trying to set up something like on the WoW forums where you can choose which character to post as, but I think the amount of time it would take me to code it would eat up too much of my play time, hehe.

Ok, thanks. Yeah, I just went ahead and did the two account thing. Easier on you to be sure!

As a related question...is it possible to request a change to our account name in case another character takes over as primary?

sure..changing your account name is relatively easy. I've done it for a couple of people.

Bah, I'm smart enough to know how to change Belblue's e-mail address to some random gibberish so I can make Longcat a new account with my old email.

Guess that means I should make a new account for Laushin, especially since I plan to start writing for her eventually. ^^()
