Just a reminder Twisting Nether Gazette's first official party is tonight in Booty Bay at the tavern at 9pm server time.
I'll be there for at least 2 hours, maybe longer depending on who shows up and what events transpire.
Bring your dancing shoes, or bring your sharp pointies. Don't matter to me, just show up if ya can!

((Are we going to try for an alternate means of communication (some kind of go-between or Team Speak thing) so we can talk cross-faction, or will we be sticking with emotes? Just curious.))

Oooooo Laushin's going to be upset. That was something I was having made for her. She was so looking forward to that pink dress, too.
My outfit's on under my armor, Clys. *smiles sweetly*

I won't be wearing much armor unless something breaks out, then I've got a macro to slap all my armor and att bonus gear on and settle things.
Haha, same here. Though, I have a feeling my little warrior's going to be in his usual get-up. I might have to force him into something more casual. :P

I debating whether to go formal party gown, semi-formal slacks and low cut puffy blouse, or my "sporting gear"..
Of course, I still have that loincloth and halter I made after I was shipwrecked.. for the primal look..
I tried to get Tempest to wear a floral garland collar, but he went into a hissy fit and slew one of my crew. At least I managed to bathe him.. no more doggy stink. Also gave him some grog, for nice minty breath.

I guess we could see if the IRC chatroom is still operational...

I'll make an attempt to be there (as Ajanon). If I can make it, I'll probably wear my tux pants and fancy black shirt. Both are black. This was not an accident. Black goes with black. On my Tauren warrior, my self-chosen armor sets earned me the nickname: "Christmas Cow." I will not let Ajanon become a "Christmas Elf" ... no sir. Once he becomes the "Christmas Elf," then the Santa jokes start and it's all downhill from there.
To summarize:
- Ajanon will go if able
- Christmas Elf bad
- "Johnny Cash" black good
I'll probably leave both my cat and my wolf in the stables too ... no point in dragging them in.

I won't be able to make it. By 9 server, I'll be ankle-deep in Molten Giants, Phat Epixx and repair bills.

Hope to make it, if I go to bed now, I should be up in time.
Still can't decide on what to wear. I have the choice of a few hanbok's (the white traditional wedding one is my favourite), although the pink party dress I still have from moon festival is always a hit...
I just think it makes my butt look big and hairy... Yeah, I know it IS big and hairy... but like ... more big and hairy...
My outfit's on under my armor, Clys. *smiles sweetly*
So's mine. Wanna see? I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

I'm definitely coming! Only going to wear a few cloth items...I'm going to be one-shotted several times, I know it. Have mercy! (or die)

 Zust's going to be the one dressing like a girl.
Longcat's just gonna be wearing shorts and a primitive mantle. Nice and simple.
The IRC room's still open on irc.sorcery.net if anyone wants to use it to communitcate to each other in it.

No fair, you thought of it before me! :O
But yeah, that would be a good idea- anyone who hasn't set it up should do so for the event

you can connect to IRC via trillian.
you can also download the freeware mIRC, which can be found at http://www.mirc.com
These instructions are for mIRC, since that's what I'm familiar with. I assume trillian is gonna be similar.
Open mIRC.
Tools -> Options
On the left tree menu of the popup, under "connect", click the "servers" option.
On the right panel, open up the 2nd dropdown and scrolldown till you see SorceryNet. I usually pick SorceryNet:Random Server, but it doesn't really matter as long as you get the SorceryNet at the beginning.
If for some reason it isn't in the dropdown list, you can manually add it by clicking the "add" button.
Once you have it selected, click the "connect to server button"
You'll see a bunch of scrolling info.
type /nick [whatever name you want to be seen as] (minus the [])
you may or may not get a message saying that name is reserved...if it is, you'll have to pick a different one
type /join #tng
and you should be good to go

It was really cool to see you all "in person." Morticia, you are quite the dancer. I got some great screenshots which I will post once I can get them off my home PC and into my laptop (where my imaging software is -- nothing on the PC can read the sc files WOW creates).
